First when we arrived, we were given a room that was left open. The beds looked slept in and the room was hot. I ran back down stairs a bit shaken because that made me nervous that someone was in there that shouldn't have been. I then was given a few different stories like "oh maybe they forgot to clean or check it", "they were replacing a bed"...etc. Once we got into our new room it had two beds. I booked a king bed but at this point the baby was exhausted and just needed her pack and play set up and to be put to bed. The floors and bathroom were not clean at all. The walls had many dents and paint chips, but those can be fixed easily and weren't an issue. The best I could do was wipe everything down with baby wipes, dry them with the towels provided and hope for the best. The AC took about 2 hours to cool down the room as the fan settings didn't work very well, but once it cooled off we were good. Once it got dark is when the main problem started. Roaches came from all directions. My husband and I took turns staying up so our daughter could sleep in bed with us because one climbed up the leg of her pack and play. When checking out this morning I was asked how my stay was. I said fine and left because I was too exhausted to talk about what happened in a lobby full of people. We simply will not be returning.
