During my procedure, while I was still in the dental chair, the office manager entered the open treatment area and began discussing my past-due bill in a loud voice. There were other patients nearby, and I am certain my private information was overheard. This situation was both unprofessional and unacceptable. I have never felt so humiliated during a medical visit. I had to ask her to stop and let her know I would speak with her after my procedure. I also requested to speak with management or the owner regarding this matter, but I have not received a response. Due to this experience, I have made the difficult decision not to return to this location and will be taking my business elsewhere. Dr. Yew is the most honest, humble, and professional dentist I have ever met. When we first…read moreswitched to his practice, I scheduled an initial cleaning specifically to evaluate the office before entrusting him with my entire family's care. He impressed me by taking ample time to walk through every detail thoroughly, his expertise aligned with prior consultations, yet he elaborated with even greater clarity and depth. The entire team, from the front desk to the hygienists, is incredibly warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They went above and beyond for my 75-year-old mother, who had extensive dental work done overseas. Dr. Yew never disparaged that previous work, but he was refreshingly truthful about its quality. He never up-sells or invents problems that don't exist. As someone in the medical field, I am not a dentist, but I know the red flags of deception in any specialty and I saw none here. I place my complete trust in Dr. Yew because his honesty is genuine and his moral integrity is unshakeable; these are qualities you simply cannot fake. I can't recommend this practice enough!

It quickly became clear that the hygienist was inexperienced with children. My child complained of discomfort shortly after the cleaning began, and the hygienist even admitted that the equipment being used was not designed for kids--the cables were short and awkwardly elevated. I immediately asked to stop the exam. Dr. Paul Yew offered to do the cleaning himself, but I declined since the equipment itself did not seem suitable for children. Before leaving the clinic, I was given a written statement showing a $0 balance (see attached photos). However, several weeks later, I received a bill for $78. When I went back to the office to question the discrepancy, the staff said the charge was for X-rays. I explained that this was unfair because I was explicitly told there were no charges at the time of the visit. Instead of addressing the issue professionally, Dr. Paul Yew threatened to call the police on me if I did not leave the property immediately. This behavior was shocking, unprofessional, and unacceptable. Please think twice before bringing your family here.

I am aware that I need extensive work done, have put in research, wanted a dentist that worked in quadrants. Phased care that focused on pain and emergent work first. Seems reasonable? Not here. They will try to trap you into work that is far more than you need, do not address pain or comfort and have a 'all or nothing' attitude despite throwing out prices in the mid-size car range.
