After I came back from Puerto Rico. I lost a nail that my daughter did for me as she is a licensed nail technician. I walked in as it was right around the corner of my son's restaurant to get them repaired. The ladies were nice and the placed cleaned. The lady recommended acrylic as my own nails were really long. She said that the one popped off my own nail was broken. When is started to basically sand down the poly gel instead of soaking like I asked several nails broke which was upsetting. So I said to make them.all even but put just a light acrylic on top of my nail. She replaced nails with tips. The job result was really nice. 3 days later I felt a pain on one finger and looking at it I knew it was infected looked Yello and green. By the fourth day I went back and told her to removed but not to charge me because you charge me an outstanding 97 dollars. When she removed it my own nail was infected and full of puss. Mind you I asked her to be careful because I am a diabetic. (I have had my nails done over a year with my daughter which I do pay her because it's her job). I asked her if she cleaned all her nail bits and cardboard file and she just looked at me for a few seconds then she said yes. (Stupid me to believe them and give them the benefit of doubt.) My son rushed me to the ER and spent 5 hours so the doctors could drain my finger. I received 2 antibiotics shots so the infection would not get worse. I went back and showed them what happen and they said ok sorry‍ I would NOT recommend the at all. read more

I feel like such a sexy babe w these flirty fun fall nails. This place is SO cute. I brought in a picture and the. Nail tech nailed the look, she got a 100% on the assignment. I made an appt w/her for two weeks from now . It is important for me to get the same great tech every time, surprises suck when it comes to nails. No need to play Russian roulette when I can easily make a reservation, and know I'm working w/someone that understands my style (all gals that get their nails 'done' are very particular about their nails lol) . Her anticipating my arrival will make the process very smooth. Making an appointment also gives the tech the ability to take her time (this took apx 2.5 hrs. It is tips, dip powder, and gel polish). I am excited to work w her in the future to see what else she can create . I went into the shop on a wed morn knowing the wknds wld be busy. A clean job takes time, if you want ensure your nails look perfect, and you feel comfortable ,try your best to make an appointment. This place is awesome ! read more

Great service. I called to make an appointment for a regular manicure and pedicure . when I arrived I was great so nicely and by name. The business looks clean. Smell clean. The tools are sterile. I was escorted to the pedicure area where to my surprise two lovely workers greeted me to begin my mani and pedi at the same time. I LOVE that service . Fast and sufficient. Where do I start, I moved around the area a few months ago, from the Bronx and I got tired of having to go back to get my nails done, so I decided to get manicures or wraps until I can go back to the Bronx but is beside the point. Moreover, I started to look for places and I found this place where the customer service was amazing reason why I gave them 1 star , The first time I wen, I got gel manicure and pedicure. The pedicure was horrible all the nails looked uneven and the nail polish not properly applied. My gel Manicure lifted within 2 days, which I went back and they fixed it but I have to pick the same color which I was hesitant but I did it and it works so I gave them a second chance. THEY DO NOT KNOW HOW TO DO NAILS When I went yesterday my nails look different shapes and nails, thick acrylic and to top it all of $40 dollars down the drained, I went to another nail spa around the area and they attempt to fix it but the outcome was similar I will forever stick to what I know it works. I really really wanted to love this place but it's a great disappointment like most nail salons in the area. I came twice, first for a gel mani and then for an acrylic manicure. ALL of my nails broke within a week of doing the gel mani (my nails rarely break). I decided to give them another shot because it's right downstairs and the ladies are super sweet. Since all of my nails were broken, she recommended getting tips. My acrylics not only POPPED OFF CLEAN within the week, but left my fingers marked. Pros: the ladies are super sweet, the space is clean, prices are reasonable and they offer loyalty cards. Cons: the actual quality of the service itself is horrible and not worth spending your money. These are my nails a month after the acrylics popped off. Edit: I went to speak to the lady about my nails and the result and she LAUGHED IN MY FACE. read more

I went to the UES location and got a dip manicure. Typically they cure your nails with a clear liquid solution but instead they used the top coat gel polish which I think did not make my nails as strong. My nails chipped within a 1.5 weeks and it was a $60 manicure. read more

This was my fourth visit here here. The first time it was amazing. The technician was excellent. I walked very happy. Second time i didn't have such a great experience. The massage chair was not available because they didn't have the remote control. They also looked confused as to which technician turn it was. Turns out the person was horrible. To where she cut my skin to blood.... Ugh!!! Third time. I thought I'd give them another chance. That technician was excellent (not the same girl i had the first time) i was very pleased! Fourth time, it was a horrible experience. I could tell this technician did not have I have experienced. She was too gentle when cutting nails,cuticles and foot scrub was horrible. She also cut and bled one of my toes. I like to give people chances but I've only seen 2 familiar faces so I'm not sure if they have a constant turnover with employees. read more

Literally the worse nail salon ever. I'm writing a review for this one since they don't have a page for the one on the upper east side. I got a regular manicure and it just looks like a 5 year old paint my nails. It was just bad. The next day three of my nails were already ripping off. This is by far the best nail salon I have been to anywhere the Upper East Side. Everyone who works there is nice and professional. The salon is super clean. They do an amazing job every time- always very thorough with the cuticles and scrubbing. Incredible value as well. I never leave unhappy, and that happens way too often on the Upper East Side. They also have an incredible rewards program in which you receive a percentage of your total bill and it gets tabulated on a card and once you have enough, you can use that money for a service.
