I got a 45 mins foot massage and scrub ($65). Space was clean and staff was professional. interestingly, my foot massage was done on massage table with head slightly raised. I asked for medium firm and it was spot on and very relaxing. The price was a tad more than I typically would pay but I think it was well worth it. (heated table, foot scrub, hot rocks, and massage!) i'm glad I splurge for the 45 mins (vs 30 mins) Will return and will recommend.

The girl behind the desk, I think it was the owner was very polite. She explained the whole process to me & let me know if I need the therapist to go softer say softer and if harder go harder. So she gave me an American girl massage therapist. While the girl was very nice it was not the best massage. Massage was very painful. I had to keep telling her go softer. Like over 6 times. The face massage was nice. Legs , arms , & back super painful. Next day on Mother's Day I was getting ready and I noticed bruises all over my body. Especially on my legs. I definitely want to come back my daughter loves it her and always has good experiences. I will however ask for someone different.

I've been coming to Helping Hands for over 10 years and have always had very wonderful experiences, but Pedro truly stands out. He represents the business so well. If you're looking for deep tissue or sports-style massage, he's the one to book. Although, I did have a therapeutic session with him today and was so relaxed I literally fell asleep! Highly recommend, I'll definitely be back next week.

I noticed I wasn't front and center in photos-- I did not want to be included in photographs and if I was coerced, I stood in the back so my body did not show. A year ago, I joined Weight Watchers and started clawing my way back -- slowly, steadily, with intention. I lost 40lbs slowly after 13 months. But recently, my body and mind hit a wall. I didn't need another errand. I needed a detox. A massage. A miracle. I was tired and noticed my metabolism was sluggish. Enter: Helping Hands Massage Therapy. Ellen performed a Sedona Body Wrap on me, and let me tell you -- it was like my cells threw a party and invited peace, hydration, and a sense of self. I walked in feeling like a crumpled receipt at the bottom of a diaper bag. I walked out feeling like a woman again. It's funny how moms will drop everything to cheer at a soccer game or run to Target for poster board at 9 PM, but taking time for our own bodies? Guilt. Guilt with a side of guilt. Isn't it ironic? Well, today I rebelled. I took the morning off work, drove to Helping Hands, and gave my body what it had been begging for -- like gum clinging to hair, it needed this reset. The space was serene, the treatment was divine, and Ellen? A healer disguised as a massage therapist. I'll be back. Not just because it felt amazing, but because I deserve it. If you're a tired human (mom or not), do yourself a favor. Book the wrap. Say yes to your body. Say yes to yourself. I just booked a lymphatic drainage treatment for next week and my hope is that I can continue a wellness regimen monthly with therapeutic massages. Sometimes we need to skip the Starbucks and get a massage!

He's honest, professional, & you can tell he genuinely cares. Every time I go in, everything is always done perfectly from the IVs to the overall experience. She was the only positive part of my experience. I noticed they now have a different nurse doing the Botox injections, Nicholas Prasad, and I could tell right away that he seemed very inexperienced. I have had Botox multiple times before, so I know what to expect, and this experience was nothing like my previous ones. The injections were surprisingly painful -- much more than they should have been. Botox usually feels like a tiny pinch with little to no discomfort, but this was not the case at all. What made the appointment even worse was how uncomfortable and insulting his comments were. He asked what body mist I was wearing, and when I told him Victoria's Secret Pear Glacé, instead of simply saying thank you or moving on, he told me it smelled like what his mother wore when he was a child. Such an odd and unnecessary thing to say. Then, while injecting between my eyebrows, he said, "Oh my God, your skin is so thick," and even added that I had bent the needle because of it. He continued by saying my skin was strange. I cannot express enough how humiliating and uncomfortable that made me feel. As a 40-year-old woman going in for Botox, I am there to feel more confident and better about myself -- not to be criticized and made self-conscious about my appearance while I am literally lying in the chair. I left feeling embarrassed, uncomfortable, and honestly much worse than when I walked in. This is supposed to be a professional med spa environment, and bedside manner matters just as much as the service itself. I will definitely not be returning.

The classes they have offer a variety of movements for the varying needs and lifestyles of their clients. I have done gentle flow and more vinyasa style on separate occasions and always felt like the teacher was attentive to each person there, yet I was getting exactly what I needed! The prenatal yoga is probably the best in town. And I say probably because I was so fulfilled each class, I never felt the need to go anywhere else. Lori Fenner leads an amazing class that helps momma and baby connect in such a powerful and unique way. My recovery since childbirth has been great because of the combination of prenatal yoga and all of the acupuncture Amy Arreygue was providing during the last two months of my pregnancy. I went weekly and swore by it. Helped so much with the anxiety of the last hump before the baby arrives. I always feel so peaceful leaving her office. She is knowledgable on integrating healthy habits into your daily life (diet, stretching, qi gong, etc). Shelby Snyder is also an amazing therapist there. Her massages send you into another world. When you come back to earth, your body feels so refreshed and taken care of. She is very attentive and intuitive to the needs of her clients. She is one of the only therapists my husband has felt comfortable with and enjoyed the massage. To sum it up, this place is the business! Super friendly and positive. Their involvement in their immediate community of clients/friends and the greater parts of Modesto is highly important to them. It's great to k ow this place exists with their progressive styles of treatment. I have not seen every therapist there, but I imagine they are on the level of excellence because of how cohesive this wonderful center is!
