Not just in for the money…read more I used Bob McCranie a my Realtor in 2008. The housing slump made it a buyers marker but there are still issues in any market. Bob made sure that the seller did his due diligence and and the home was truly ready for us. But he didn't stop there. Bob has maintained on-going email bulletins, reminding us to change batteries, homestead, tax changes, updates on home materials and appliance recalls. I have recommended him to friends who were also fully satisfied in his services. Never pushy or aggressive, Bob made home buying fun. We bought this house for our retirement home but if I ever were to move again, I'd use Bob McCranie.

After that he lacked Customer Service, Customer Empathy, professionalism and responsiveness. First off, when you are moving, leaving one job and starting a new one in another state, you need lots of help and support from your Realtor. You pay them to constantly be in contact with you, go over many times the key cost of selling your house outside commission. Jeff handed us off many times to his "team" and wasn't readily available. We often had to leave messages or talk to his staff which didn't have all the answers we wanted. He is out of town often and it's his time off. We had a medium to high end home in Bridlewood, Flower Mound, TX and felt very under represented. From the lack of response, to the non-professional photos, to not reviewing our closing statement with us before we signed, just bad customer service. I also told him many times I didn't want to pay for a home warranty for the buyer but it was put inside an addendum I didn't thoroughly read. So regardless of me telling him I didn't want it, he knew I was so busy so he just put it in the addendum and knew we would sign. I also had to ask him to check in with my wife often, which he didn't, maybe he had an office staff person call her, but not him. I told him I felt like he didn't represent me well against what he stated was a less experienced realtor as I feel they got more than needed. I asked Jeff for a refund of some of the commission because he didn't perform well, his response was I don't owe you anything and you signed everything. He doesn't care about the service he provided, he measures customer service by you signing the documents and moving along. So, therefore I give him a bad review. If he would have refunded some money and covered for his lack of negotiating skills on my house and for the poor customer service, I would have felt much better. Also, our first buyer was a cash offer that dropped out. it turns out they rented a home that Jeff is representing, he didn't even have the professionalism to tell us, he just stated they weren't interested in our house anymore. A neighbor informed us. He stated he didn't make any money, not one penny, but I know who rented the house he represented and they are wealth clients who he would like in the future.

If I could give more than five stars, I would…read more Over the past six months, we looked at more than 30 properties trying to find the right home within our budget. Throughout the entire process, he was always on top of everything, anticipating issues before they came up, preparing documents quickly, and calmly guiding us through every situation when we felt uncertain. What truly stood out was his dedication and thoughtfulness. On Christmas Eve 2025, after we had already gone to see two houses, he casually said, "Are you sure you guys don't want to take a look at the house you mentioned before? It's right down the street." That suggestion led us to the home we ultimately purchased, our dream house. Beyond his professionalism, he was incredibly generous and supportive throughout the journey. The most important thing is simple: he found the right house for our family. We're truly grateful and couldn't have asked for a better agent or friend to guide us through this process.

Todd is an exceptional agent…read more I've lived in several major metropolitan areas in the U.S. throughout my life, and service in Dallas has been more hit and miss than in any other major city I've ever lived in. Why? I'm not sure. Maybe it's just super hot in Dallas and people just can't be bothered to work all that hard. Maybe it's because people here just earn less on average and so they don't have the financial incentive to put in as much work. Whatever the reason is, I've honestly found it quite difficult to find high-quality professionals here who take pride in their work. Todd is one of the few I've worked with in my 5+ years of living in this city who really stand out. He's just an all-around consummate professional. Todd has an incredible depth of industry knowledge and general housing experience that he draws from that he used to guide my wife and I throughout our first home purchase at the beginning of September. And in the rare instance that he didn't know something, he always took the time to research it and follow-up as soon as he could. But even more important for me was Todd's humility and integrity. While real-estate agents are often seen as simple salespeople, Todd never came a cross as salesy whatsoever. He would always try to remain impartial, objective, and honest, even if that meant compromising his own bottom line. I could see Todd's integrity a mile away, which is why I felt comfortable trusting him with a transaction of this size. While I don't know for certain, I think I'm pretty safe in guessing that Todd is quite well off. He's not desperate for business and he does a significant volume of large transactions annually. This is extremely important when considering a real estate agent because the more desperate they are, the more likely they'll do whatever it takes to close a deal, even at your expense. At the same time, you don't want to work with an agent who is too absorbed in their own success that they can't bother to spend any time with you. Todd is truly that rare mix of humility, integrity, experience, and detail orientation that makes for the perfect real estate agent. I started this homebuying process thinking real-estate agents are just people who pick up the phone, talk a bunch of nonsense, and collect a handsome check after doing effectively nothing, and left on closing day absolutely certain that I would not have been able to do this without Todd. I highly recommend him and am happy to share more details about my experience if you want to reach out.

And when I took possession of the property, the stove was not functioning. this was not disclosed and Jim, only upon repeated requests, did he passively reach out to seller. Most reputable agents I've talked to said they would have replaced the stove as a curtesy. Reputable being the key word. Jim did not do so. Jim was clearly not looking out for my best interest.
