Another groomer in the area just didn't bother clipping her nails the past two times they groomed her, which I overlooked the first time but complained about the second only to be told she jerked too much. I know she doesn't like it but she doesn't bite, just squirms. BUT we didn't have that issue at Doggie Doos. In fact; like the groomer we used to use in our old hometown, they declared my dog delightful and "so sweet." Her clip was even, nails were cut short and filed and her bows even stayed in about a week, a near record for my active girl. Definitely our new go-to groomers!

After arriving home, my children noticed the bottom of his butt and the back of his legs were bear skin. We do not and have never shaved our aussies. I went back to dreamy dogs and asked why they did that to my dog. I was told that his hair was matted, which is not true. Then I was told that by the MANAGER that I was committing animal cruelty, because my dogs hair was mattes I did inform the manager that I have actually put people in jail for animal cruelty and The manager was simply trying to find a way out of their wrongdoings. Mind you while I'm speaking to the manager. She's got a toddler hanging from her neck the entire time. We were very explicit that we did not want our dog cut we wanted him shampooed and his nails clipped. He has a unique mane and coloring that we love. When we picked him up they had completely shaved my dog down. I do not recommend them at all. They do not listen to you and they do not communicate with one another. Furthermore when I let her know she really did not care.

Above and beyond! I took my dog there because my regular vet was closed. My guy was lethargic and…read morenot himself. Turns out he was running a fever and of course it was Friday. Dr Barlow gave him IV antibiotics and suggested I leave him hospitalized. On Saturday he was doing a bit better and Dr Barlow suggested he stay the weekend to continue treatment. But not in a cage at the office, but she TOOK HIM HOME so he would be more comfortable in a home environment and with her three dogs. Wow! That's dedication and compassion. I'm so glad they were open and available for my fur baby when I needed help.
