Alison designed an incomplete bathroom, ordered a sink cabinet that did not have room for plumbing, lied about visiting the job site every day and so had no idea how badly the project was going. Eric the carpenter spent about one day a week at this project, regularly left a mess, did not complete assigned tasks. We paid someone else to complete his work. We are dealing with product issues still--on our own. I would never recommend Cox Kitchen and Bath.

But, a hinge on one of the cabinet doors broke. I went to the showroom with the broken hinge and Allison, the next generation of the family helped me. She warned that she would have to do some research on the hinge, and would have Quality Cabinets send me a replacement. Less than two weeks later a box arrived with not, one, not two, but six replacement hinges, in case another broke. Talk about going above and beyond- Cox Kitchens is the best.

I have been to T.M. O'Donnell twice to pick up hard-to-find-in-stock plumbing parts and ask for advice. It's like the best hometown hardware or car parts store that has been around for decades - they've seen it all, and are happy to help. The College Park / Laurel / Beltsville / Hyattsville area is really lucky to have a plumbing shop like this in business. Fergusons stores often refer customers to T.M. O'Donnell much like a primary care doctor would refer a patient to a specialist. Unlike a medical procedure, you can just go to the specialist first (T.M. O'Donnell) and get the parts and any info you need on the first trip! Remember to bring cash if you only need a small part or two, as they prefer to only accept credit cards for purchases over $10.

I was sold a graphite stringy substance in its place, but still had a leak. I went to Ferguson's plumbing supply and they had the whole spigot, but they referred me to TM O'Donnell. They even gave me a printed paper with directions on how to get there from Ferguson's. I went to this shop and was greated by 3 friendly men. The one that took care of me looked for the washer but did not have the exact size. He did get me a graphite ring washer. He stated if the spigot was still leaking from the handle, the problem was likely farther down the rod and to come back with the rod if it does. He was right. He did not charge for the graphite washer by the way. So I took the rod back to the shop. He replaced the end piece which also seemed to have a washer which was eroded/torn. I paid $6.43 for the piece. And it fixed the job. No more leaky handle. Now I can set my house to timer to water my wife's plants and grass. Definitely, would come back to this store. They are a wholesale distributor and seem to have a lot in their shop. If they dont have it, they can probably get it for you.

Bottom Line: Friendly staff and quality work…read more My husband and I wanted to replace three vanity tops with granite or quartz. After reading reviews on Yelp we decided to go to HB Marble & Granite. As other Yelpers noted, their showroom is not fancy which is fine by me because I don't really want to pay for a fancy schmancy showroom. Huseyin and his son (presumably) were very friendly and let me crawl around their remnants and slabs. When I visited HB Marble & Granite Huseyin was running the wet saw and stopped to help me. I liked that not only does he run his own business but he also has the knowledge to cut stone and willingness to get a little wet and dirty. Although I was hoping to possibly use a remnant for my project in the end I went with a new slab of quartz. The quartz got stuck in the port in New Jersey so my project ended up a little bit delayed but Huseyin was very apologetic and communicative on the issue. I know he was frustrated by the situation too but he did everything he could to get that slab to his shop. And when the slab did arrive, it immediately went on the table for cutting and my countertops were installed hours later! I really admire that Huseyin expedited my job as soon as he had the materials. I was very pleased with the installers. They were friendly and respective of my home. The workmanship was top notch. I've had granite and quartz installed on numerous occasions and I was really impressed with their work and how clean they kept the work area. The afternoon was spent installing the granite, doors, and trim. The team completed the work and made sure everything was done to my satisfaction before leaving. The whole thing was done before 5 PM. I give them 4 out of 5 stars. There are a few minor items that could have been better but given the fact that the price was $5k to $10k less than the competition, I am very happy!
