Of COURSE they answered that phone line!!!! Then I got more excuses and absolutely zero customer service. How can a company this big ignore such a gigantic market????? I called the Myrtle Beach Farm Bureau office on behalf of my son who is in the military stationed outside the continental United States, and has property in North Myrtle Beach. My local Farm Bureau agent (whose insurance I personally have in North Carolina) had provided me with the Myrtle Beach office's contact information. I spoke with Rick, a very personable man, and provided very personal details (dob, ss#, etc) on my son, the property location, etc. After 5-20 minutes of conversation, he said he would provide this information to Clayllene Gore (and her husband, Kenny, who works with her) and they would back in touch with a quote for homeowners insurance, wind and hail, flood, etc. After 2+ weeks, after not hearing back, I called again and Rick answered the phone. I told him I had not heard anything from Clayllene (the Agent) and he was surprised and apologetic, but assured me that he would follow-up with Clayllene and I should expect to hear from her very soon. Again, he was very apologetic and actually seemed embarrassed that I had not received a return phone call. So it's now 6+ weeks later and still no follow-up, phone call, email, etc. If I could have give less than 1 Star rating I would have done so. It's hard to know how to rate an organization's delivery of service(s) when my son has never received any. Do not recommend.
