I found the copies of our 1099-R's and we took them and the papers we received in the mail down to their office today and we were , IN A NASTY MANNER BY BRICE, THE OWNER THAT THEY WOULD NO LONGER BE DOING OUR TAXES BECAUSE OF WHAT MY HUSBAND SAID TO KALEB! I said he just told him he would call him back because he was disgusted with him at that point. Brice did not want to hear our side of the story he opened the door and told us to leave as he handed us our folder and shut the door. He was condescending when speaking to us and treated us like we were a waste of his time which I'm sure we were since we don't own beach houses and lake houses and all the other houses he was all to willing to brag about when I called him to set up the appointment. It's hard enough to ask for help but it's made that much harder when you're treated the way we were by him. One would think that he would realize that without clients you have no business and if you can't respect the people that come to you then you have no clients. I have had SF insurance for over 15 years, unfortunately I had…read moreto move to SC for several months and the agency I had been using did not cover Myrtle Beach, so I needed to change agencies. Out of convenience, I chose this office because it was close to my new home. What a mistake. It's not that I wouldn't recommend State Farm Insurance, I do, just don't use this agency. Their administrative staff are not only, not competent, but they lied to cover up their mistake and it cost me $75 with the State of South Carolina. They assured me when I signed on with their agency that they would take care of transferring my account information, including my direct withdrawal for my plan and not only did they not do that, but they did not notify me that my account was "delinquent" for non payment. It wasn't until I received a notice from the State of SC that I was an "uninsured" driver and charged me a fine, but I had to reach out to them to ask them what had happened. Even after I gave them the name of the associate that I spoke to, who assured me she had everything they needed to set up my new account, they said "she never spoke to me" WTF? As with other reviews, once you sign on with them, you can't get a hold of them. Bottom line, don't use them. There are plenty of other SF Agencies in the area. Pick another one.
