Not only did she OVER price the job, she didn't even bother to ask me questions regarding the job. When I asked her about it, she was simply rude, and instantly got defensive. I asked to speak with her supervisor. She told me that he was out of the office and would contact me when he got back. 2 DAYS LATER, I get a return call from a Tony Holt. I explained to him the situation and his is exact words were "you have to excuse her, she doesn't know very much about construction". After that was discussed, I told him about my project that needed to be done. I am a carpenter, and have been for 25 years. I got injured and can no longer perform task around my home and this is the ONLY reason why I called this company. He first tried to explain to me about how I was WRONG on what needed to be done, and tried to give me his sales pitch of spending $2500 more dollars than I needed to. I was even willing to pay the extra cost of a 2nd technician just to get the job done quickly. But after being told that I basically didn't know what I was talking about, I decided to go with another local company that have very excellent customer service.

There was nothing in the box that even resembled a finished cabinet, all flat pieces of wood with connectors. Jacob Shoemake came out the day after I called, arrived on time, and set to work. He took a box of wooden slabs and turned it into a beautiful cabinet in about two hours. The cabinet is even more beautiful than I expected. He charged me $130 for two hours of steady work which I thought was reasonable and fair. If I have any more handyman-type jobs, I will call Jacob first.
