Dr. Noll is fan-freaken-tastic!!! I had been struggling with adult onset acne for a number of years and it was taking a toll on my self esteem , professional and personal relationships and my over all wellbeing. I had tried every topical cream, ointment, face wash, toner, and every oral medication out there with the exception of Accutane. I had wanted to take accutane for years but was always told to try a billion other things first. I had recently moved to the Sacramento area and needed to find a new dermatologist. That is when I found Dr. Noll. I made an appointment ( super easy to do, staff there is great) and explained all the " crap" I've tried that didn't work and that I'm 100% ready to try accutane if she'll let me. She agreed Accutane ( which is actually not called accutane any longer ) would be a good choice. Dr.Noll explained to me I'd need monthly blood draws to monitor my liver , and cholesterol levels as well as monthly pregnancy tests. Dr.Noll was great at walking me though all the different steps along the way. My whole course took about 7 months and I could not be any happier with my results. I haven't had a single breakout since!! Dr.Noll also took before and after pictures to keep track of my progress. I deleted most of the bad breakout pictures I had on my phone , but I'll post my before and afters with what pictures I have left. FANTASTIC experience. Dr. Knoll was so kind and informative during my consultation. I just finished my first Vivace Microneedling RF with Registered Nurse Jordan Cameron and was SO impressed. This staff here are remarkably good at scrubbing their yelp reviews. I've written one before but it was removed because I mentioned that they do not accept any health insurance (SO weird! And frustrating!). Technically, that's a policy-related complaint, but I have big service-related complaints as well. I chose another dermatologist because the service here is terrible. I cannot believe the office staff in a dermatologist office would be so rude! I wonder if the doctors are even aware of it, given that their staff scrub this page so clean. As soon as I began asking their secretary about whether my insurance was covered, he was curt and rude, and seemed dismissive and condescending. I have not been treated like that by a specialty medical clinic and was stunned and offended. (For reference to others in Davis who are lucky enough to be able to afford quality healthcare - I have a really awesome PPO and received too-quality, best of the best care in Orange County before moving here. This is just a horrible dermatology practice. I came in for a quick visit way back in AUGUST and am just now receiving a bill in the mail for charges not covered by my insurance. Way to drop the ball on this one, Davis Dermatology. It shouldn't take you four months to send me a bill in the mail. If there were problems with the insurance covering the whole amount, then why wasn't I at least contacted by phone or notified by mail sooner than four months out? I feel blindsided receiving a $100 bill in the mail four months later when I never even knew it was an issue in the first place. Furthermore, Dr. Noll charges a ridiculous price for her visits. I came in for a preventative screening (mole check) and she only spent about 5 minutes with me before shooing me out. Then she charges a whopping $205 for her 5 minute visit, when on the bill it says "Office Visit - 30 Minutes." If I am being charged $205 for a 30 minute visit, then please spend the whole 30 minutes with me instead of ripping me off by overcharging me for a 5 minute visit so you can go back to your desk, drink coffee, and surf the net on my dime. read more

I did not have a spectacular experience, like the most of the yelp-pers, with Dr. Noll. I went to her when I had sudden acne one-cheek breakouts. She was quite amiable on my first, and check-up visits. But instead of getting to the root of the acne breakouts, she prescribed me an antibiotics. After taking antibiotics for only a week, my acnes subsided dramatically. I was told to take antibiotics for three months and lowering to half the amount of antibiotics after the three months. It required me to pay $20 per checkup visit. Honestly, the check ups were waste of money because she just looks at my face and asks if i have any questions; in and out with her within 5 minutes and wait time is 10 minutes. Because of my previous breakouts, I had alot of scars. She recommended me laser to encourage collagen reformation to heal the scars quicker. It was $50 per area on the face. I spent $100 on the laser treatment. As she was doing the laser treatment, I found out that she was quite unprepared in the laser as well as the patient, me. First of all, she did not remember that she was the one who recommended the laser treatment to me. Second of all, she asked me how much dosage of the antibiotics she put me on. And third of all, she admitted that she was not prepared; she did say she was usually prepared but just not this time... I am quite upset with this lack of professionalism. I came here about less than a year ago because I've had facial redness for quite some time. Dr. Knoll was running late and I had to tell the MA that I needed to go and would have to reschedule. Once she came, she was with me for less than 10 minutes. I felt like I had so many questions and she would briefly address them. I wish she would have spent more time looking at my face because she ended up prescribing me hydrocortisone and Ketoconazole which is used to treat fungal infections and after months of us, nothing changed. I've honestly hesitated to write this review because Dr. Noll's work is so excellent and produces such natural looking results that no one knows that I get anything done. She is thoughtful, gentle, and has an amazing eye. Please, do not let someone stick needles in your face because their pricing is better - you want an M.D., and one who is very experienced. I met Dr. Earlyn Noll at a trade show where she was advertising her new Medical Spa. She is so friendly and sincere I made an appointment to have a free consultation. I have had consultations in the past and the doctors made me feel like cattle, get in and get out. As if anything minor (Or less than $1,000) I wanted wasn't a big deal, just get it done! (Even though it's a big deal to me!) I found her approach refreshing. She really listened and our consultation felt more like talking to a girlfriend than a medical professional. I decided to take advantage of some of her skin treatments and I am SO HAPPY I did. It is one of the best decisions I've made in a while. I'm not sure if I look totally different to everyone around me (which is probably a good thing) but I feel awesome. I have tried a couple dermatologists in the past couple months as my skin has recently started having cystic breakouts. A cyst appeared on my face about 6 weeks ago and instantly I could tell that It was not going to fade quickly. I visited one dermatologist two weeks ago who gave me an acne injection that ultimately did nothing for my cyst. Feeling a bit discouraged and wondering if my cyst was going to take months to go away ( I have had cysts stay on my face for 3+ months ) I gave Davis Dermatology a call and they were able to get me an appointment the very next day. When I arrived, Dr. Noll was very careful to warn me that another acne injection could result in atrophy of the skin. Willing to risk atrophy, we proceeded with the acne injection and cyst drainage. It has been two days since and my face is looking so much better! I finally have confidence to be outside without wondering if my cyst is terribly noticeable. I appreciate that the doctor took the time and gave me all the information I could need in order to make my decision and I couldn't be happier that I made my appointment. read more

When i started seeing her, my skin was a mess due to constant redness and painful burning cheeks...the first time i met her i was in tears, due to the frustration of my condition...as a busy mom, my needs came last and my skin had paid the price! I've gone here for laser treatments, filler, and other treatments, and will continue to do business with them because they are simply great. I don't understand the reviews here that mark Davis Derm down for not accepting insurance...many of their procedures are cosmetic and not covered by anybody's insurance (that I know of) anyway. I had a bad experience with Dr. Noll. I was having extreme skin allergies and she decided to do a biopsy to figure out what it was due to. Fine. But then the stitches got infected and when I called asking if I could come in and get them removed, I was told it hadn't been 10 days yet so I needed to wait. The next day, because I was in extreme pain, I called again and had to demand to be seen. Turns out the biopsy site was very infected and the skin was regrowing over the stitches. However, I still was only able to see a tech and even that costs a whole bunch. Then to make things even better, I took the biopsy results to an allergen specialist and he tells me that the biopsy doesn't tell him anything. I really think Dr. Noll is the kind of doctor that is just in it to make money with the least work possible. Yes the office is nice but you'll probably only see the techs anyways. The front dest manager, Daniel is very kind, professional, and is always so easy to talk to if I have any questions. I went here a few years back, took me too long to write this. Daniel and Brandi, they are both super sweet and made me feel comfortable. I thought it'd be awkward to have a guy at the front desk of a place I showed up for skin problems, but he is SO professional. Dr. Noll is super busy and seems she cannot wait to get to her richer clients. I guess having the whole poor college student look is just terrible. I always felt she was super rushed, and didn't take enough time for the treatment. If my insurance refers me here, I will definitely try to get a different dermatologist. Also, my friend told me her laser instrument hurts as hell, my friend felt like she was getting electrocuted and being vacuumed out her hair follicles. Also, apparently, Carina didn't put numbing cream on her the very first time she went. Also, Dr. Noll didn't stop when my friend kept asking her to take a break. My friend got hair removal from Nouvelle Aesthetics later, and she said it doesn't hurt at all, much cheaper, and it's been working for her. They provided her with sunscreen and cold towel for pressing the treated area (Dr. Noll did neither). Well, neither my friend nor I plan to go back here. I bet if you are rich and have money you will get lot more attention from the doctor. read more

Dr. Noll is nothing short of excellence. I'm originally from SoCal and had a dermatologist all of my life as I have eczema. Upon my first time seeing Dr. Noll, she immediately noticed a fungus on my skin that had gone unnoticed for who knows how long by my other dermatologist. While I was under Dr. Noll care, I can honestly say that my skin has never looked better. I've moved back down to SoCal and I am once again struggling with my skin and trying to find a dermatologist as caring and intelligent as she is.
