Davis Cookie Collection is the brainchild of Christina Davis. She was inspired by her family who were musicians taking her passion for making cookies creating her own family recipes. She went through the Mortar program spent time growing her business with the Findlay kitchen and finally now has her own shop in Bond Hill. Stop by for delicious homemade cookies, friendly service and they also have the only one of its kind in the Midwest you can craft your own mini cookies sold by the dozen and have it fresh from the oven in 15 minutes. They also ship cookies nationwide, you can order directly from their website. Also check their Facebook page for weekly specials and cookies they have on hand as they change on a regular basis.

Stopped in when I was walking by and grabbed two cookies. Salted caramel chocolate chip and their house special strawberry with lemonade frosting. Service was friendly, fast, and prices are right. Got home and shared with my girlfriend. Her three word review: "these are delicious". I agree. Salted caramel has the right level of saltiness and is super sweet with gooey caramel in the cookie. The strawberry lemonade has a tart sour tang that pairs with the sweetness of a cookie. Delicious.

Still worth checking out, a few glitches in the customer service. Taking them down 1 star.

A Christmas tree decorated with silver, blue, and purple ornaments, tinsel, and a star topper is placed indoors next to a wall mural at The Cookie Quintet bakery. The mural depicts animated cookie characters playing musical instruments, with the bakery's name displayed above. Several wrapped gift boxes and a red mailbox with a sign reading 'Santa Stop Here!' are arranged at the base of the tree, creating a festive scene.

The cookies were good but pricey. I did like the flavors offered though. My favorite was the snickerdoodle and strawberry. We did a dozen cookie box but the only reason why we docked one star was because we were short a cookie. (It was also my fave one too.) By the time we left that was when we noticed, and it was too late to turn back. Otherwise Davis cookie collection is a great place to stop by. We loved the cookies so much that we forgot to take a photo of them in the box before we ate them all in the car.

The image shows a white bakery box with six cookies inside, arranged in two rows. The cookies include two red velvet cookies with white chocolate chips, two cookies and cream cookies with Oreo pieces, and two chocolate chip cookies. The box is open, revealing the cookies on a white paper liner, and the background appears to be a neutral surface.

It's been a few years since I've Yelped and after eating these cookies I had to leave a review. Had a sweet tooth and drove across the river to try these out and my biggest regret was I didn't get more. Not an oatmeal cookie fan but tried theirs because it was too tempting pass and was perfect. The right mix with raisins and not that grainy taste. Overall they don't have that underbaked texture like some Crumbl cookies do and wasn't a waste of money like Crumbl. Service was top notch and friendly. Beautiful layout on the inside. Will come again.

I read about this new cookie place in the Enquirer and knew that I wanted to give them some business. They started out at another market and now they have their own brick and mortar on Reading Road in Bond Hill. It looks cheery with the vivid colors outside and they are being very careful due to Covid which I admire even more. They let you know when another customer can enter and everyone waits outside before they go in to order/pay and afterwards while they are getting your order ready. Both times I went, the employees were so full of friendly excitement. They were truly grateful for my business. While they have ice-cream and cupcakes, the real stars are the cookies and there are so many flavors to choose from. On the days I went, they had Snickerdoodles, Fruity Pebbles, Double Chip, Oatmeal Raisin, Chocolate Chip Deluxe, Butterfinger, Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip, Lemon, Chocolate Chip and Double Chip. I bought way too many because I want them to do well - they were freshly baked and fantastically delicious! On a side note, there is a huge sign inside with photos of The Cookie Quintet along with bios on each one. They wanted to give tribute to their other grandparents who are no longer with them. How sweet is that!

This is a cute place! And a parking lot is conveniently located on the same side of the street, just a few doors up from it. A friend recommended that I stop by since I love chocolate chip cookies and have been trying to find the best ones in the Cincinnati area. Jas was incredibly friendly and helpful when I was trying to decide on what cookies to buy. I did go at the end of the day, so I know there's a good chance they would taste a little more fresh earlier in the day. I wish the chocolate chip cookie had a little more chocolate in it and was more dense, but there was a unique and enjoyable flavor to it (Molasses? Cinnamon?). They are also known for you being able to create your own unique dozen cookies, so I will definitely be back to try that out when I have more people to eat the cookies with me :) Cookie Name: Smitty's Chocolate Chip Texture: Chewy Taste: Sugary (plus whatever that extra flavor is!) Types of Chips: Regular Appearance: Flat Size: As big as my hand! Price: $2.50 Temperature: Best warm Personal Rating: 3 Stars Don't worry, I'll be back!

I first heard about Davis Cookies on a WCPO post about the create your own dozen cookie concept, which I thought was a brilliant idea, but as a very single person I do not need 12 cookies to eat by myself so I was very happy to see when they opened that they also offer individual cookies for sale! I got strawberry lemonade and oatmeal raisin, both were soft and fresh, and I loved how unique the strawberry lemonade was. I hope to see more unique flavors in the future! The other flavors they had when I were chocolate chip, snickerdoodle, sugar, sprinkles, and then pumpkin cutout cookies. From other pictures it does seem like they have a rotating variety of flavors or maybe I got there too late in the day and some were sold out! Traditional cookies were $2.50 each, specialty cookies were $3 each, & the create a dozen did not have a price listed. There was also a cute little ice cream freezer that I didn't grab a photo of, as well as some individual cupcakes out, but didn't get to see how much the cupcakes were. I was confused were I was allowed to park, so I just parked in the fish and chicken place and hoped for the best lol. I appreciated the social distancing markers as well as the plexiglass and the store employee properly wearing a mask :)

This is a cute black-owned cookie shop. I love being able to support other black-owned businesses. I had seen a lot of Davis Cookie leading up to their grand opening, and I knew I wanted to try them. I had read a lot on their story from their start to their growth of opening a storefront. That's amazing! The staff is also very nice. However to be completely honest, I was super sad that I wasn't a fan of their cookies. The shop is super cute and the set up is nice and I loved that, but the cookies fell short for me. I wasn't sure what they are know for so I tried quite a few cookies. I tried a Sprinkle Cookie, Oatmeal, Chocolate Chip, Bourbon Pecan Chocolate Chip, and an Iced Cookie. All of their cookies seemed to be made from the same base which is completely fine. However, I do expect a flavor change with certain flavors. For example, oatmeal and chocolate chip tasted the exact same except Oatmeal had raisins. It didn't taste like it had a drop of cinnamon in the oatmeal cookies. Also, with the Bourbon Pecan, it lacked in flavor. This was disappointing as a Bourbon Pecan cookie done right can be so bomb. Their cookies are also very dry, puffy, and bland. I wish them the very best and want them to be successful but their cookies just aren't for me.

A group of four people, consisting of two children and two adults, are taking a selfie indoors. The background features a blue wall decorated with colorful foam sticks and an informational poster. One child is making a peace sign, and the group appears to be in a casual, possibly educational or recreational environment.

Super friendly staff. The cookies are amazing. I really loved the mint Oreo! Glad we stumbled upon this place.

Beautiful space and delicious homemade cookies! You can tell Christina is passionate about her business and her cookies, she puts 100% into everything she does. Highly recommend this place-P.S. try the Brown Butter Bourbon Pecan and chocolate chip!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Create a Dozen - A group of ten oatmeal chocolate chip cookies is displayed on branded parchment paper inside a bakery box. The cookies are round, golden-brown, and contain visible chocolate chips and oats. The cookies vary slightly in size and shape, with some having a slightly cracked surface. The parchment paper features a bakery logo and text, indicating the cookies are from Davis Cookie Collection in Cincinnati, OH.

Some aspects of Pendleton Parlor were on point and others left a little to be desired. First, it's…read morelocated in a really lovely part of Pendleton near a part of Broadway that's permanently closed for pedestrians and outdoor dining, so the ambiance is really nice. The inside of the shop is interesting, with knickknacks and things to look at in every corner- kids would love it for this reason! I immediately noticed that there were no prices on the menu... there were cups displayed on the counter with small/medium/large pricing but it wasn't clear what these cups were for- it looked like shakes. It was very off-putting for me to not know the prices of what I'm ordering, especially with more specialty items like cookie dough or coffee/ice cream creations where I can't predict a standard price. Second, there was only one dairy-free option... a cookies and cream ice cream. While it was tasty, it was my only option and that never feels great to order something because you have to. It also didn't have a description or any info available so I was left wondering what made it nondairy... almond? Coconut? Oil? Of course at a creamy whip type place I'm not going to expect the entire menu to accommodate me, but it's nice when there are at least a couple other options- especially with coffee, it would be easy to have a nondairy milk available or a sorbet/dole whip since they already carry many flavors. I tried a tiny bite of my husband's edible cookie dough and it was delicious! Seemed really sweet though- he could barely finish his side by side because it was so sugary--a good problem to have :)) I think I would go back if I had friends with me or happened to be in the area for Blink or the pool or something, but otherwise I would probably choose somewhere else where I have more options s and I know what I'm going to spend.
