I looked for local chiropractors in my area and came across this location. I tried several attempts to be seen and had to schedule out at least 3 weeks out. The working hours are not ideal and limited, but I still wanted to support a local business. I decided to give them a call on my day off to see if there were any cancellations or if I could be seen sooner. I was told by the receptionist that she would look into it and give me a call back. - I received a call about an hour later informing me that a spot had opened up for 2:20 pm. Great! I repeat the time back over the phone and proceed to enter the details into my calendar. 12:40 pm rolls around and I get a call asking for my whereabouts and that the appoirntment started at 12:20 pm. - Huge supprise to me. - As I was told over the phone 2:20 pm and I repeated that time out loud and was not corrected. I asked if I could still stop by since it's up the street and would take a couple mintues. - "No." ....They also do not have any sort of system set up to send automatic reminders or manually email/text from the receiptionists. Hindsight, redflag, because how do you have a $50 appointment hold/cancellation fee without such a system. - A bit one sided and you can tell where this is going. Long story short, I decided not to move and seek other chiroprators instead. I asked for my money back and I was blamed for a cancellation that I had no controll over. I even attempted to show up once I was notified 20 minutes later. If you are going to have this policy in place, make sure that it well positioned on both customer and business sides. How can you charge fees for cancellations that your staff made the mistake on?? How do you not have a text/email automation for this process? Why would I get a call 20 minutes into the appointment, than let's say 5 minutes? ... this comes off like a money grab... Why do I need to follow up with your staff 4 times before learning the outcome?? ... no one followed through on thier word throughout the process. read more

I have been going to doctor Davis for several years now. First of all his bedside manner is head and shoulders above any other doctor I've ever dealt with in or out of Chiropractic. He takes his time with his patients and explains everything that's going on with you in straightforward, easy to understand terms. No medical jargon. He has a great sense of humor and I can honestly say he's the best chiropractor have ever been to and I've been to several. I stumbled upon Dr. Davis's office when I was having extreme lower back pain and my regular physician just prescribed me muscle relaxers. I did not want to take any sort of medication and so I decided to get second opinion. Dr. Davis and staff were very welcoming. Right away I was taken care of and a plan of action was made. It turned out my hips were misaligned...whoe knew?! I was given therapy and correction for a couple of weeks. I am glad to say that my pain has gone away and I only get minor aches but mostly because I need to keep doing my back exercises. I started seeing Dr Davis in 2012. My back had gone completely out and the friend who picked me up to take me to the ER suggested I go see Dr Davis. Unfortunately, his office wasn't going to open for a few hours and I couldn't wait that long (I was in so much pain). She took a chance to call his number and left a message while we were at the ER waiting for someone to just look up and acknowledge us. Dr Davis immediately returned her call and told us to come on in. I knew that if I had stayed at the ER, the would've just given me muscle relaxers or pain relievers instead of treating the actual problem. Even though Dr Davis wasn't opening for a couple hours, he came in early to take care of me. He really took the time to listen to me and figure out what plan of attack to take. After the first session, he gave me some things to do when I got home and then asked me to come in again that same day after his last appointment. Dr Davis went out of his way to help me even though his office was closed and I wasn't even a patient of his (yet). He had me up-and-walking that very same day! Dr Davis was the first chiropractor that gave me immediate relief so I continued going to his office because I have dealt with lower back pain since I was young. His staff is always amazing and super friendly. It's a very welcoming energy from the moment you step in the door. Dr Davis is a spectacular doctor. He listens, he explains, he helps, he's 100% genuine and you can tell that he not only cares about what he does, but also cares about the patients he's treating. Unfortunately, due to distance and hours, I had to stop going to see Dr Davis full-time. I've seen 2-3 different chiropractors since and none have made as much a difference as Dr Davis. It wasn't until recently when I tweaked my neck that I went back to see him after my regular chiro didn't give me any relief that I decided that it's worth the hassle to make it work to see Dr Davis because he's the only chiropractor I've gotten relief from and seen a significant improvement through xrays. Bonus: I've been to many chiropractors who seem to also want to sell you things constantly. I've bought a tens machine, back brace, orthotics for every type of shoe I own, pillows, neck contraptions, etc because previous doctors made it seem like I needed them in order to get better (and I was desperate). I have been seeing different chiropractors for the last 30 years and was unhappy with my last doctor. I was referred by several people to Dr. Davis, and had my first appointment with him today. I was impressed by his thoroughness, professionalism and his positive energy! I brought an X-ray with me, however, he needed a few more (never let someone manipulate your spine without them looking at an X-ray first) before he would manipulate my neck, which he took himself. He went over my X-ray and pointed out various bone spurs and how my spine curved. His physical exam was also very thorough, checking my reflexes and range of motion. He adjusted my mid back and he realized my back did not respond well while I was laying face down on the table so he had me stand with my back against the wall and put a towel behind me and manipulated my back that way. First time I ever had it like that and I appreciate it because my last 3 chiropractors would force the manipulation which ended up hurting me instead of helping me. I am glad I found a very thorough chiropractor because the last 3 I went to did not do X-rays or physical exams. I look forward to my back & neck improving under Dr. Davis care!
