So, I reluctantly, I sat down and hoped it would be worth it. This was probably the worst wax I have ever gotten, considering that on the underside of one eyebrow there were 5-6 OBVIOUS stray hairs left behind. How can you not see that? Same story on the upper lip, and if my math is correct, $8 for her to apply wax and RIP it off aggressively without getting anything substantial off. She also insisted upon waxing the area below my lower lip which I found to be ridiculous; I just have a little bit up there as I am of Mediterranean descent and from certain angles and lighting it shows a bit. I went home and tweezed them myself. She did not clean the wax off my face or put any lotion/cream on to calm the skin. I had some of the hairs that she did manage to remove plastered to my face. If she had spent a mere thirty seconds longer on each of my eyebrows and slowed down, I would have left a happy customer. But she was rushing (and when I came back up, it seemed that there was another waxing client waiting that may have had an appointment which could have been why.) If she had asked me to wait ten minutes I gladly would have, or gone to get a coffee at Starbucks and returned. If you care to look at any of my other reviews, I generally am easy to please. The white tape they placed under my lashes got stuck to the false lashes and was sealed with glue which was impossible to remove, unless you remove all false lashes and re-do, entirely. When the lady finished, I noticed, and immediately mentioned it to her. She said it would wash off after I showered. The man at the front desk was a witness, and noticed. After noticing, he semi smiled, laughed, and spoke to her in whatever language they speak that wasn't English. I got home, showered, and of course it did not come off. I called that very same day stating that I showered washed my face and it still did not come off. I notified the man who witnessed everything and he told me to come back the next day, so they could fix it. When I came back, the lady tried pulling the white clumps, which did not help. I requested for them to remove the lashes and issue a full refund. They refused, despite the job being done improperly, and the fix being half-done. They said that if I wanted to get them removed I would have to pay. While I understand they have a no refund policy, this was incomplete/poorly done work. They didn't even offer a credit or to redo them. I have bank statements and the date I took this photo to show I am not lying. The table you lay on had a sheet over it that was extremely dirty filled with someone's hair dander. I had to request for them to change the sheet. I should have taken that as a red flag! This place is not new. It's owned by the same people that owned Diamond Nails, because when they charged me, it showed up as their old name before they remodeled the place.
