Then, 4 days passed, and no one called me back to schedule the job. I reached out again to set a date, again no reply. A week later, 7:45 in the morning as I was hopping out of the shower, I get a knock on the door, stating they're from Shamokin, and they were there to do the tree work. I don't understand how one could dispatch workers without talking to me, and setting a date. I found this to be unprofessional. I am happy with Bob's inspection, and the trimming job their contractors did, but the front office could use better communications, and less assumption.

In the spring the following year, less than 6 months after I was assured it would drain properly, I had standing water in my yard. I called him and when he came out he said "you have standing water and I hope you don't think this is a warranty issue because it is not but for $500 I can put more dirt on it and level it out but that is not guaranteed either." So this year I hired a professional and they corrected the issue. I would not recommend All Around Landscaping.

He said sometime in the morning, but that he'd be in touch closer to the date of service to confirm. The day before our appointment, I received a voicemail in the evening while I was working, asking if a particular time worked for the following morning. When I called the owner back in the morning to inquire about adjusting the time slightly (less than an hour), he became extremely hostile. We have a narrow, 1-lane driveway and I was simply trying to adjust the time he'd arrive so he didn't have to move his vehicle/equipment for us when we left for work, daycare drop off, etc. His response? "No. That's stupid, why would you want me to come any later?" I explained our situation and that we simply wanted to be out of his way with all of the coming and going in the morning. He told me that it was ridiculous to "expect him to wait outside my house for 45 minutes" even though that was not at all what I was asking to do. I stated I was simply asking for the time to be pushed back so we'd be out of his hair. He told me that I should "just leave right now (6am) to go to work and take my sleeping infant to day care" if it was "really that big of a deal for me." Also, for what it's worth, my home is less than a minute from their "office." I told him I was no longer comfortable using his service and that I would be canceling. I work with contractors on a daily basis and I've never had one speak to me in the unprofessional manner he did. I would not recommend doing business with someone who speaks to clients/neighbors in this way.

They're a group of professional arborists who care deeply about their work and the quality they provide. Skyline came to remove an extremely large maple that was beginning to deteriorate and was looming dangerously over my home and my neighbor's home. Their estimate was fair and the job was an all day event with risk of damage to my home. They conducted the job perfectly, without any damage to my property. They were a joy to watch and did a fantastic and orderly job. I have additionally used Skyline for all of my trimming and maintenance in the past few years and also had them provide cabling to a couple of my other large maple trees in order to significantly reduce the chances of large limbs falling on my neighbor's home or car.
