The guy working there was super laid-back and incredibly helpful -- no pressure, no cigar snobbery. He asked me a few questions about what my friend might like, made some solid recs, and even helped me pick out a case that looked fancy without being over-the-top. The shop itself has a great vibe -- kind of like if a speakeasy and a coworking space had a baby and filled it with cigar smoke and good music. A few folks were just hanging out on laptops, sipping drinks, and puffing away like it was the most normal Tuesday afternoon ever. The 1-star review is incredibly unfair. I've been to the store twice for kratom. I normally buy online, but when I'm in a pinch, I've gone to Willie's. I'm pretty sure the same guy has helped me both times, and I don't know if it's the same dude referred to in that 1-star review, but the guy's super nice, empathetic, knowledgeable, and undeserving of those childish insults. I can't speak to their selection because I've only gone there twice for kratom, but their prices are competitive with other brick and mortar, the kratom is high quality and not cheap garbage, the guy I've dealt with genuinely listened to me, and I'm happy to give them my business. Was told its probably your charger. The counter guy plugged into his charger and it stated charging, then he says it's charging. He then said oh no its going to blow up, ran outside with it. Came back in and said I will give you a new one for half price. Really, you sold a defective vape. Then he asked how many times used, oh wait let me get the piece of paper where I kept track of how many times I vaped. Walked out, such bad business! Won't get my business again.
