I saw the company truck parked outside and called the number. I explained that my neighbor had had work done, and yet the vehicles drove all over my yard leaving deep ruts and not once did anyone ask my permission. I was told that, "Uh, I'm sorry about that. We weren't sure about the yard access. I still have more work to do there and will plant new grass for your neighbor and will fix your yard, too." I said that I should hope so, as most of the vehicles seemed to be in my yard and not my neighbors. I found this all suspect as prior to their work, the property line was clearly marked so that they would know what was the neighbors and not. Days went by as the weather wasn't good for yard work. Upon the company's return and work on my neighbors property continued, they did indeed do some regrading and throw down some seed and hay. But not on my property. And today, I have to apparently have my lawn repaired myself as Mow Nashville has done nothing and has no longer responded to my calls.

When he saw how precariously perched the limb was, he moved our job toward the top of his list. Four hours after our initial call, his team had safely and delicately removed the tree. Service was friendly and sympathetic during a frustrating situation, the estimate and invoice were immediately emailed to us, and they got the job done right. We plan to use them again for proactive tree removal, as there are some other sketchy branches looming over our property. I recommend Mow Nashville without reservation.

We hired Tucker to dig it deeper and shape it into the perfect pond that we could stock with fish. He did an oustanding job, despite the number of times we had to put the project on hold because the pond would dry up and then it would rain and get muddy again. Ug! (it should be noted that he honored his original quote, despite the number of times Mother Nature foiled our plans) He's very professional, nice as can be, and really has a vision for what you're looking for. He also really cares about the project. Our pond has a very established wetland around one side where all the wildlife (frogs, salamanders, turtles, birds, etc.) make their homes. William was very careful to not upset the ecosystem of our beautiful pond in the process of making it a good 8 feet deeper. He left the trees we wanted, and took out the ones we didn't. I really liked that, seeing as the last estimates we got, we were told either "it can't be done", or "we're going to have to tear all of this out". Horse feathers! William did it, exactly like we wanted. He has vision. He's your guy!

We eagerly look forward to engaging him again to do our next project planned for later this year. Nearly every time we drive up our LONG driveway my husband mentions what a terrific job William did. He and his partner were on time, respectful of our property. Most importantly they did a great job on every surface and at a fair price. They got a lot of work done in a single day, including an area they missed but cleaned later. They did a pretty good job of putting everything back in the right place and were very attentive when we did our walk around inspection. I would highly recommend Kagan for the quality of work, responsiveness and pricing. I will definitely consider him for sealing my concrete or for concrete projects. I am so disappointed in the service we received. I feel like everything about the job went wrong…read morefrom the moment I signed the contract (that I had to insist on, and thankfully I did considering the following). I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but it's honestly been a nightmare. We hired Kagan to do a large concrete slab and a retaining wall in our backyard and not only were they late or no-shows almost every single day, once they got their first installment of payment, but it is actually done completely wrong (wall isn't straight, a large dip in the slab causing water to pool by our foundation, and also no joints in the slab which we've since found out is necessary and will cause cracking if not fixed). then when we expressed discontent, they made promises to refund a portion of the cost and then changed their mind and that they'd rather try to fix it. at this point we didn't really trust them but they told us exactly how they'd fix it, and then all they did was smear some more concrete (and leaves!) on it (i've included pictures). they said they were licensed and insured, and I now know to check that and not trust someone at their word. once we escalated the conversation after they said they "fixed it" and expressed that this is enough of a problem for us to have to go through legal channels, he basically said sue me. so, after spending time getting quotes from other companies on what it's going to take to fix it, we are now in the process of speaking to an attorney to sue for what it's going to take. we have every communication back and forth saved and based on that information and the pictures, our attorney says we have a good case. I'm honestly bummed that it's come to this, and I really wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt, but I am so supremely disappointed in the lack of integrity this company shows and am not willing or able to pay for their very expensive mistake that will only cause more damage to my home as time goes on. They should certainly not be doing large concrete jobs, and even if they did learn to do it right eventually, I could never recommend someone with so little integrity. I will update this comment if/when there is a resolution and if they made it right.
