She asked if we "want bags or boxes". I said bags. She replied "well the boxes are free. Bags are 15 cents". I said "that's fine I don't mind". We didn't need anymore boxes at our house being as we just moved so we're drowning in them. So she goes silent and starts scanning away. I'm looking for my card and she goes "you need to grab the boxes to take to your car". I looked at my husband wide eyed and confused and said "I asked for bags didn't I" just for reassurance. He's super passive so he didn't want to say anything. I'm not sure if she wasn't listening but saying it twice seemed like enough to me. I don't know if she wasn't interested in working or if she was having a bad day but it really made for a poor end to our experience. Listen to your customers requests Karan.
