Nathan, the carpet technician, called and gave me a time he would arrive to do the job. He arrived on time and ready to go to work. He explained the charges and scope of work involved. As they are cleaning the carpet you can see the yuck being sucked out through a clear tube. Also, the sucking/cleaning power is pretty substantial as they aren't using some rooty-pooh vacuum, but a van sized motor that is in an actual van! The carpet was dry in a couple of hours. I'm a flight school student and not the owner or employee of the business. I couldn't find any reviews for carpet cleaning in the local area and felt is was my duty to let you know about this. Conclusion: instead of spending $50 to rent a substandard carpet cleaner from the PX, lowes, or Walmart, pay a few bucks more for an industrial quality cleaning.

We paid Stanley Steemer $2,000 to clean our entire house of hardwoods and tile bathrooms. They were in and out in about an hour and not only were the bathrooms not even touched, but they gauged our brand new hardwood floor. When I called their office and very calmly explained the situation the manager that I spoke to was so incredibly rude to me I could not even believe it. He mocked me, scoffed at me, and laughed while denying that they damaged our floors. I could barely respond to him I was so uncomfortable. He then blocked my number as well as my fiancés number who tried to call him several times. We finally got in touch with corporate who said that they would have them come back out and redo the entire service free of charge. When they showed up to our house to redo the service they REFUSED to do it for free and said that they would have to charge us. Again, the manager denied gauging our floors and claimed that he would have to charge us for the service because we didn't call in the "10 day grace period". We called so many times and never got an answer because our numbers were blocked! We finally just told them to leave because it was clear they weren't going to make things right. The total lack of competency, professionalism, and just general laziness of the Dothan branch is unacceptable. Needless to say I do not recommend Stanley Steemer of Dothan. Save your money!

Guess I should have asked him to redo all of the rooms since the soiled areas have resurfaced in no time at all. I'm pretty easy going so although I knew he didn't spend a lot of time cleaning, I didn't want to say anything. I called the local office in Dothan and the manager said we had gone passed their grace period for them to reclean it. We've used Stanley Steemer for several years. Normally we get the carpet cleaned about twice a year and have used them almost every single time. We don't want something for nothing and we keep a clean house so the carpet wasn't that bad. We just expected good quality service. Although I know it is the right thing to do to be kind, but sometimes it doesn't seem like it is........
