Anthony was here a little after 8am. He was extremely professional, thorough and informative. He explained everything he was doing and even took the time to answer my general "how it works" questions. He identified the problem and had it fixed right away. After the unit was fixed I ask if I should go ahead and have the maintenance while he was there. He checked availability and offered to do it then or come back next week if it was more convenient. I had him go ahead and do it while he was here. We have used another company for the past 5 years with yearly maintenance. Today during the maintenance he found part that had never been cleaned or even looked at because it had been encased by the company that installed it. He removed moved a piece cleaned the pump which was full and starting to store moisture on the floor. If we had called a different company I don't know if they would have been as thorough as Anthony was today. If you need a great AC company that actually cares about it's customers first, this is the one. The prices were definitely fair, no attempt to up sale or offer unnecessary services. They were in and out in about an hour and not only were the bathrooms not even touched, but they gauged our brand new hardwood floor. He mocked me, scoffed at me, and laughed while denying that they damaged our floors. I could barely respond to him I was so uncomfortable. He then blocked my number as well as my fiancés number who tried to call him several times. We finally got in touch with corporate who said that they would have them come back out and redo the entire service free of charge. When they showed up to our house to redo the service they REFUSED to do it for free and said that they would have to charge us. Again, the manager denied gauging our floors and claimed that he would have to charge us for the service because we didn't call in the "10 day grace period". We called so many times and never got an answer because our numbers were blocked! We finally just told them to leave because it was clear they weren't going to make things right. The total lack of competency, professionalism, and just general laziness of the Dothan branch is unacceptable. Needless to say I do not recommend Stanley Steemer of Dothan. Save your money!
