I was referred here by another bride and was so happy to have this as our first stop of the day. We made our apt for 10am which was perfect, they just opened and were still fresh and had their undivided attention since we were the only ones there. Amanda was so personable and made me feel comfortable. I found a dress I loved but they understood I had another appointment that day so told me that I could come back later if I still wanted the dress they would save it. I didn't feel pressured at all to buy there, they encouraged me to explore my options because they know how big of a decision this is and I really respected them for that. There are 2 show areas at this location for trying on dresses. I did end up coming back to buy my dress here the same day. The other store I went to had my same dress and even for a little cheaper but the service was no where near what I received at Bridal Elegance. The only minor con was we had to bring our own champagne/bubbles but they did provide a celebratory treat at the end. HIGHLY RECOMMEND for any bride to add this place as a must when looking for your dress! They did not require a $25 deposit either

After bad experiences at several big box and local places in both Tulsa and OKC, I didn't expect to see such great selection, prices, and service all in one little shop! My ONLY negatives would be that the owner was a little frank with the way she phrases things, and that the snaps on my dress started coming undone after trying it on only twice in store. Went to check out, it came out to 1400 not including alterations. Was pressured into buying it, and having serious dress regret. Finally about a month later I came in for alterations and they refused to honor the alterations quote and charged me $400 and some change. They didn't have my dress ready by the due date and so I told them nevermind and went to pick it up, it wasn't even touched. Terrible service and argumentative Owners. Deceiving, scandalous. Can't sell my "one of a kind" dress because they don't do returns or exchanges and nobody wants a No Name dress.

What seemed to start as a good choice in moving our family member's household items in order to…read morehelp with facility care costs quickly degraded. When our items were picked up we saw the furniture handled with great care. I did have a concern because reading the itemized receipt of items taken revealed that not all our items were listed. I immediately called to clear this up and was assured that when the truck arrived back a full inventory would be made as it was unloaded. This was in September 2023. Thru a series of emails requesting info on the sale of our items, I was informed of delays due to numerous reasons: illness, a "rushed medical" auction, a family death. All these were relayed as reasons why our things were not fully processed. I did follow Southside's Facebook page and did see the majority of our items pictured in the auction offerings for a few weeks after our things were taken. I went to pick up a check in October I think, but saw a lamp of ours still on the display floor and was told that some items were not sold yet but auctions would continue until all our items cleared. I did continue to send emails asking about 6-7 specific items remaining. I was asked for my phone number so either David or Dan could call me. I sent my phone number, but never received a call. Finally, in December I learned we had our last check ready and went to pick it up. As it was being handed to me I asked about the few items still unaccounted for. BIG MISTAKE! What followed were loud, with expletives, accusations about me. Apparently I was obnoxious with queries about our goods, a troublemaker and a bully. I am a 5 ft tall woman and this barrage towards me came from a man nearly the size of a mountain. I was shocked to say the very least. I was yelled at for thinking they can keep an account of every item that they auction. I was told one specific item I asked about "sold for $10 and was worth nothing and meant nothing". I replied that when the family member is trying to pay for nursing home care every dollar helps. I was told many of our items were gathered and sold in a "lot" of items and told I was ridiculous to expect they could account for every item "sold in a lot". (When our items were picked up it was mentioned that some framed art would likely be sold "in a lot"...but never did he say we would not receive the money from those items.) As the yelling from the mountain man continued he finally swore at me and said he was done with me and called over the "owner" to "handle" me. This man came asking about the ruckus and I was introduced as "the biggest troublemaker". I still said my own name and thanked him for coming over and calmly said we were just trying to pick up our current check and find out when the rest of our things might be completed. I mentioned the lamp I had seen still on the floor when getting our first check, to which the mountain man again exploding about "how many lamps they auction and what made me think that was mine?!" Then, I mentioned a very distinctive antique desk which mountain man denied but the second man said , "oh is that yours?" Yes. He said someone tried to lowball them on it but he refused to sell it so low. I said, every dollar helps our family member and was told it would be sold soon. I left with the check picked up that day. I've never heard back from Southside again about the desk or any other items. My advice if you use Southside to sell your items is to not get caught up in the flurry of activity where he walks thru choosing what he will take to auction, without making your own list of ALL your items. And, do take pics of all your items. I sent the list of missing items, I sent pictures. My BEST advice however is to choose a different company. I've heard for decades about the great bargains for buyers attending their auctions. But, from our vantage point they dropped a huge ball on their follow-through on the consignors end of the auction experience.

I once worked at Davids in Tulsa and have tons of bridal experience and would like to give an honest picture of the company for the many brides that will be looking for that perfect dress! First I gave it 5 stars for a few wonderful reasons. First star is because the bridal gowns, mothers bresses and flower girl dresses are top of the line, both in styling and quality. The bridal designer collections are incredible and the 'corporate' Davids Bridal have made some excellent decisions about carrying such beautiful collections. Second star is because they have a decent collection of large size dresses for plus size girls to choose from. Third star is because of the fantastic alterations department. I don't know abut how all the personalities come across, but the seamstresses are top notch sewers and fitters. Most are foreign born (Russia and China) but they have been there for many years and are the envy of other bridal salons in the Davids family of stores. They even put sleeves on dresses and can make jackets and shawls, which none of the other Davids Bridals stores do (or are even permited to do) but the Tulsa store will break a few rules for 'religious exemptions of covering the bride for a church wedding'. Fourth star is that they are well priced. You may n ot find the $99 bridal dress that originally made t hem famous, but you will find many prices (especially is you shop for bargains on their website) and their better designer dresses are priced excellent considering they are really 'couture' and could easily be prised 10x higher in a privately owned bridal salon! and the last and fith star is for the convenience of shoppin g at Davids. If you have members of your bridal party out of state, they can easily go try on the dresses the bride picked out and even have t hier alterations done at the store that is nearest them. Also, in this fifth start I would also like to include the comfort of have many Davids Bridal stores to help out in a pinch. If you can't find a particular size, the management staff at Davids will search other stores to find it and usually bring it into the store in record breaking time. They also have a great computer system that is accurate in perdicting when an 'ordered' dress will come in. In the two bridal seasons I worked for them, I never remember any horror stories of dresses not coming in on time, but I have heard of these types of complaints from ot her bridal stores in the area. So, in a nutshell, there is a lot of positive points to shop at the Tulsa Davids Bridal. But now, I will tell you the negatives, so that you are prepared. This location is very successful and t hey do a ton of business, which means that many of the salespeople are over-exerted. Because Davids is so busy, sometimes the salespersons do not get proper training. it is also very difficult to adjust to many personalities and they are not always sensitive to the fact, that shopping for a bridal gown is part of the bridal experience,a nd brides want to be treated special. They also do not give out fulltime positons to salespeople any longer, and so they often loose their seasoned, best people, which is a very stupid, greedy 'corporate' decison,a nd if they were smarter, they would reward the best people with good, lasting positions and there wou ld be much better reviews, si nce the product is truly top of the line! Lastly, keep in mind, that if you want an 'original' design, forget Davids. Their dresses are manufactured in the thousands, and the good styles will stay on the line for years, which is not really a bad thing, since some of the designs look fabulous are all kinds of body shapes and are 'proven' to be just gorgeous in person a nd in the bridal photos. Lastly, I want to mention one last star..the management at Davids in Tulsa really try very hard to please all their brides and you will not find nicer, more genuine people to take care of you. Personally, I th ink they are very special people, and loved working for t hem! So, that's it. Hope that gives you some genuine perspectives to work with in making your decision. oh and just a footnote, ifyou want to be trated in a little more relaxed way, try taking off from work and shop during the week in the daytime....the weekends bring out hundreds of brides all wanting that 'special expereince'! I'll start this review by saying we had a good AND not so good experience dress shopping. Go see Jordan Ashley! Last week we went to the store and met with a consultant that was polite for the most part, but did not seem very knowledgable. She did not ask us our budget, and seemed to only pull sale dresses. Nothing wrong with sale dresses, but my mom wanted to see me in some more fancy ball gowns that were not necessarily going to be on sale. We weren't really asked for what vision we had and when I did not like something, or was unsure, instead of giving me her advice or suggestions for tweaking the dress she would say "I don't know...". I did not necessarily think she was horrible but was just less knowledgeable and was moreso just a bystander. We ended up buying a dress and we had second thoughts and came back to exchange it about a week later. The second visit was a MILLION times more enjoyable. My mother called the management and discussed her concerns and asked that we come back in. Hopefully the new consultant wasn't told we were awful or anything. We met with Jordan Ashley, who I just happened to go to my high school and was in marching band with me (small world). She did wonderfully. She asked our budget, my vision, my moms vision, pulled a TON of dresses with varying price ranges and styles, some to fit my wants and some to fit my moms and some that were a combination. She gave insight on how the dress would look after alterations and even pulled it in how it would look and hid behind me so my dad could take photos. We were told previously we weren't to take pictures until it was the one. Jordan did so great and made each of us feel special and heard with our opinions. She was patient and awesome. I have never been so frustrated and I plan to avoid this store like the plague. During my appointment the girl helping me said "ok so what do you not want?" No vintage, no lace, no ivory but clearly she asked that question for her health because she brought me three dresses all of which were ivory, vintage, and lace. After several failed attempts to explain what I wanted, my family and I attempted to look for ourself. That's when I was told that only a handful of dresses come in white, and my selection would be limited. The girl helping then went to a coworker asking for help finding a white dress. This girl looked at me like I was asking for a hot pink wedding dress and said "why would you want a white wedding dress." I explained that my wedding colors were black and white so I needed a white dress, she gave me a crazy look kinda chuckled said oh and walked off without offering any help. Against my better judgement I returned to buy a flower girl dress that was absolutely perfect for my wedding. I figured this time would be better since I knew exactly what I wanted. NOPE! My flower girl tried on the dress and it was great. However I needed a sash and I found just what I needed but it was discontinued. My flower girl is very petite, and they brought me a 4 in thick sash. I informed them that this was to big and it swallowed her. To no surprise of course they again didn't listen and brought me another 4 in sash. I just had to tell her forget it, and I went and bought exactly what I needed at Alfred Angelo. I don't understand how they make money when they can't listen to what the bride wants, and treat me poorly for wanting something outside of the very popular vintage and lace trend. Bad help, then Great help Myself and the other bridesmaids went there try on dresses one day, and the girl left us to go get a drink because she was oh so parched. She was constantly rolling her eyes, not listening to our comments about dress types, etc. She was freaking out about the dresses not being put promptly back on the hanger, even though she was only trying on a couple at a time. We finally found THE dress and our bridesmaids dresses, and she wrote them down, including the sizes, style, and color. We overheard her say that "yeah those are the ones which have been here FOREVER," to another employee. We left, and I was looking online to take a screenshot to show my mom, when I noticed that the dress was not available in the color. I promptly called and was told she had made a note of that in the system. She didn't call or email anybody, so I guess we would have just found out when we went to give payment. We made appointments to go back when we were free again, but we're not looking forward to it. Skip forward to Saturday the 20th. We were helped by Lisa Mercado, and she saved our view of the company. The experience was quick, easy, and even fun! It showed that she really loves her job. She was running around checking styles and sizes and colors. She checked availability and shipping times and prices. I will definitely refer people to her, specifically, and when it is time for my wedding, I know who I will let take care of me and the wedding party! She is an asset to the brand and the location! WOW! I had not read the reviews before going in here and I just can't believe it's the same place. On Saturday, I had made an appointment with a very nice, highly recommended bridal boutique in Tulsa. IT. WAS. AWFUL. That lady in there...to say she was rude was an understatement. I left feeling so defeated and awful and thinking, yea...we're gonna elope. My two dear friends talked me into swinging by David's Bridal in Tulsa, OK to shake it off and just to see. And, I am certainly glad they did. We didn't have an appointment, we just started to look at dresses on the racks. Tons of options!!! I finally decided I was over the horrible experience of the boutique and wanted to try on some dresses. The front desk got me an appointment right away. It was great!!! My bridal consultant was Rikki Summers and she's just a doll! She was super helpful, easy going and made me feel super comfortable. I could rave about her all day! She's definitely on the guest list. I feel like I genuinely made a friend by the end of this whole experience. She really listened to the vision of the wedding and the feeling that I wanted from the dress. I'm so glad I went in there because I ultimately ended up buying my wedding dress there. David's Bridal, you are lucky to have a gem like Rikki working for you. I've gotta say- I never saw this day coming. The day where I walk down the isle with the dress of my dreams! Who to thank for that?! Ms. Rebecca Winstead! She made this experience fun and extremely stress free. I brought in my mom, grandma, future mother in law and her mom. I was a bit worried considering my wedding is only a month away- and was nervous that I would not find the perfect gown at a reasonable price in such a short period of time. BUT BEHOLD!!! REBECCA DID IT YALL!!! I have previously spoken with her and recommended that I download their app and start browsing through many options of dresses that they have. Without any hesitation- I got right on that. The day of the appointment I walk in and she had all of my picks printed out for me and ready to go. She dug deep and really found the style, color, fit that I was really looking for. Pulled a couple of dresses and BAM!! Just like that- two dresses in and THE PERFECT DRESS WAS FOUND! Me and my fiance went to David's Bridal to look for the perfect dress. I called ahead to make an appointment. They were very professional and kind on the phone. David's Bridal was able to get me in very quickly and was open late which made it perfect because we needed an appointment after we both got off work. When we got there we signed in and wandered around the store looking at dresses to get ideas, while we waited for our appointment time. Our dress consultant Amy came up to us and asked us about our wedding and what exactly we were looking for in a dress. We told her we are having a country weddings and would like a lace dress. Amy pulled three dresses for me to try on. The very first dress that I put on I knew right away was the one. Amy hit it right on the nail. She had me put on two other dresses just to be sure We clearly knew they were not the ones so Amy put the first dress back on me. She asked me if I would change anything and I said I would like a belt. She instantly ran and got me a champagne-colored belt that had matching flowers that I have for my wedding decorations. Today I went into David's bridal for the 2nd time, I was determined to buy today. Cassidy was the girl working with me today. She was fast! I literally tried on 4 dresses in 10 mins! As soon as I said no I didn't like it she has another one ready. I was seriously starting to think this wasn't gonna happen and I wasn't gonna find the dress today, some of the dresses she brought for me to try on I had already tried on and I was just loosing hope after every dress. But Cassidy didn't give up on me, she went and found me the PERFECT dress. I went in there with a clear mind and told her I was getting married in a barn and I liked the lace look.she kept that in mind and she also listened to what I had to say about every dress, what I liked and didn't like about it. It was close to my budget and she even brought out a lady from alterations before I bought the dress to make sure it would be something I could afford. On March 8th my family came with me to help me find my wedding dress for my vow renewal that's coming up in May. We had a ball with Melissa! Every dress she brought and that I tried on was gorgeous. She did such an excellent job and was so sweet. We laughed, we sang, we preached & shouted, some had tears of joy watching me in my dresses. There were some oooooohhhhhs and aaaaaaaaahhhhhs, and then my sister did some spoken word. That's when Melissa found out that everyone that was with my had a talent. My mom caters, one of my sisters is a beautician and can do any type of hair, yes any type and she's awesome, my other sister does spoken word and she's phenomenal at what she does, my Aunt is a comedian and will have you laughing for day, and I'm an Author. Right when I walked in store there were so many people standing there. The feeling was overwhelming, but the greeting table did a wonderful job greeting me and getting me with Emily who helped me tremendously through my visit. We drive two hours to shop in Tulsa and this was our last stop before driving the two hours home. My two toddlers were tired and my husband and I were done. Emily not only put a hustle in her step with out us saying anything (thank you for that) but she made sure I saw all my options and then some. She took the time to understand what I wanted/liked and nailed it without me even really knowing what I wanted. She was so sweet and very professional. She even played with my kids while I was changing. Mind you there were a lot of people there. Our experience was great. Totally worth the two hour drive. Thank you all who helped me at the door and thank you Emily for helping me find the perfect bridesmaid dress! The bride loves it. read more

I could not even wait a full 24 hours before posting this review... Kayleigh and Rosa are beyond incredible. NOT ONLY was Kayleigh able to get me in with less Than 24 hours notice due to a bridesmaid's dress-related emergency, but when I became absolutely overwhelmed and had a bit of an emotional breakdown due to self esteem issues, Kayleigh was there IMMEDIATELY with water and tissues, and both her and Rosa both privately gave me words of encouragement and did everything they could to remind me that my self esteem issues need to take a hike- all of this while the schedule today was described as a hot mess!! And when I returned to pick up the dress after alterations, Kayleigh had penned the most heartfelt note I think I've ever received. If I ever get married, regardless of where I live, if Kayleigh and Rosa are still working here I will go out of my way to purchase from this store. What a great day at David's Bridal Tulsa, Oklahoma!! My niece, Samantha, made the trip from Independence, Kansas to buy her wedding dress. It was such an awesome event for her with both Grandma's, her Mother, Sister-in-Law, Cousin, and two sisters to enjoy watching her try on Beautiful dresses from David's Bridal. Shelly was Samantha's assistant and was so helpful and personable. She really made this day special with her attention to detail and made Samantha feel very special. She was just such a nice person with a warm, caring attitude. Samantha found a beautiful dress and was very pleased and impressed with her assistant, Shelly! I was unable to attend but this was the feed-back I received from Samantha and those who were there with her on her special day! Thanks to David's Bridal and all the wonderful folks who work in this Tulsa store. Much appreciated to you all and especially Shelly. This will be a day Samantha will remember. read more

Okay so let me start with this. I went to davids bridal twice the first time i went it was great the consultant brandi was awesome she listened to me and was kind. The second time i went i took my bridesmaids with me and my mom. The second time i went i was put with amy. Amy is probably the worst consultant ever, i am a very simple kinda person i walked in and told her when she asked exactly what i wanted a WHITE strapless aline sweetheart neckline dress with a blinged bodice. She brought me everything but anything that fit in any of those parameters, she tried to rush me...she tried to bully me in a sprt to pick a dress before i had made up my mind....and then to top it off the cherry on top she ordered my dress in the WRONG COLOR....SHE ORDERED IT IN IVORY AFTER I SPECIFICALLY SAID I WANTED WHITE....THE ONLY REASON THIS PLACE GETS 2 STARS AND NOT ONE IS BECAUSE I LIKED THE FIRST LADY BRANDI. read more

We had such a wonderful experience at David's! My consultant, Emily P., was so sweet - I never felt rushed or that I was just another commission. She took the time and really listened to what I liked or disliked and was attentive to detail. Emily made what I thought would be a stressful experience into such a fun afternoon! I came in not knowing at all what I wanted, and she knew exactly what types of dresses would work for me - she truly is an expert. I ended up purchasing the most beautiful gown for my wedding in October and couldn't be more thrilled! We'll definitely be back soon for our bridesmaids dresses and, hopefully, work with Emily again. Along with the actual dress shopping she was very up-front and thorough with additional costs (payment options, alterations, etc.) which I really appreciated so there's no surprises. I am more than elated to write this review. I was in the market for bridesmaids dresses. I had previously looked at this location, and I was told they discontinued the one Vera Wang dress I wanted. I knew I wouldn't love any of the dresses. I narrowed down my selections to one dress that I was going to settle on. Brittany, my consultant, brought out the infamous Vera Wang dress. I was quickly disappointed when she said they couldn't get it for me. She noticed how upset I was, and she and her manager Lisa M. called countless other David Bridal locations in search for this coveted dress. They both impressed me because of their relentless calls. Brittany could've easily said "sorry they are discontinued", but she definitely went over and beyond. Lisa M. also exceeded my expectations. I recommend them, hands down. I am overjoyed I finally have the dresses that I want. read more

I had my wedding dress consultation at David's Bridal and highly recommend this store and Anna, the stylist! If you go in, ask for her! Anna was super helpful and kind; you can tell she really enjoys her job and is wonderful at it. You could say I am more of a picky bride and knew what I wanted. Anna immediately understood my taste and had great advice to help me choose my dress. The accessories she chose helped me see my overall look and decide what I wanted. I found the perfect dress! David's Bridal has a tradition where you ring the bell when you find your dress! I had so much fun with this and loved the exciting atmosphere. Other ladies who worked there chatted with me and complimented my dress. This friendly atmosphere made choosing my dress for the day I'm going to marry my sweetheart that much more fun! This was the second bridal store I had been to. My first one did not listen to my wants and budget constraints, and put me into dresses that were significantly over budget, leaving me frustrated and upset. Lisa Mercado went above and beyond! Not only did she listen to what I liked and disliked about each dress, but she also brought dresses ONLY in my price range. She offered to bring others, but I did not want to try others on and be upset like I was before. Lisa is a manager so it was a rare occasion to have her as my stylist, but I left David's so much happier than the other location, knowing I could have the best dress for my budget. She even let me have some fun with headpieces and additions to the dress. Thank you so much Lisa for all of your help and advice! I wouldn't have had such a good experience without you!! read more

I cannot say enough about Hillary in the alterations department at David's Bridal in Tulsa. That girl is worth her weight in gold. My daughter (the bride) was having a mini-meltdown because her wedding is just weeks away and her dress was not fitting properly. Hillary calmed her down on the phone and assured her that everything would be alright and booked an appointment to meet with us the next day. We went to the appointment and she was very positive, supportive and calming AND as it turned out the dress did not even need alterations at all we just needed her to show us how to lace it up properly which she patiently did. Hillary is the "Bride Whisperer"!! Also, as a side note, the girls working the front counter and register were very friendly and helpful as well. I am very happy with our experience. read more

Very good experience! We came in without an appointment scheduled, but they were able to fit us in last minute when another bride no-showed. My stylist Brandi was incredible! She took all of my opinions very seriously and did everything she could to find me exactly what I was describing. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable, and she made me feel at ease immediately in what is usually thought of as a stressful situation. When we were getting down to the last few styles that seemed to fit my vision, she took the initiative to grab another stylist to go through the store with her again to see if she had missed anything. I could tell that she definitely cared about me as a person, not just making a sale. While I didn't find my dress, I'm so glad I came in. Ask for Brandi when you set up an appointment! read more

Ok, my review is different from the other 4. This would be my 2nd wedding. I flew down here to be with my best friend to shop for a dress. I had already been to one store in Tulsa. This was the 2nd stop. I knew I didn't want any frills, lace, bling, etc. My specialist was Debbie. Mind you we walked in about 2pm on a Friday afternoon. They weren't overly busy. We were greeted at the door. Debbie pulled some dresses. The dress I chose was a chiffon straight A in ivory. Loved it and my best friend agreed. It was over my intended budget but I was okay with puchasing it. The only thing that stunk is the slip was half the price of the dress. Dress was 180 and the slip was 80. Debbie made sure I had a new dress that shipped home free. Thanks you, Debbie, for the wonderful customer service. read more

The shoes and bow tie are from different stores. The shirt was not on sale but I bought it to wear with the pants which will be the highlight of this review. I actually wanted the purple shirt but the store did not have my size. As you could see, the fit is not the greatest on the shirt. The fabric is of average quality. Shirt size: 15 slim fit. The pants was on clearance and I got it for under $5. The hemline needed it to be shorten. My tailor was able to shorten it for an additional $12. The fabric is very thin though so it's not suitable for winter but would be most perfect for summer. It's a bargain price and of course I love it. Pants size: 31S tailored fit.
