I really want to give this place at least three starts but I just can't. Two stars is all that this place deserves as their staff is rather unapproachable and leave you wanting to hightail it on out of there... I was out with a friend shopping around for her wedding dress this past weekend. We checked every store around the Burlington area that could have formal dresses before resorting to this place. Upon walking in, we were blatantly ignored- it was almost like it was on purpose even though there was someone right at the front desk. After looking around for a bit, one of the staff did come by and ask if we needed help to which we of course replied no. So we decided to pick out some dresses on our own and bring them to the fitting room. Apparently to be let into a fitting room you need to have an appointment set up which was really annoying and not announced anywhere. Also, while they were debating what to do, I was left holding about 8 wedding dresses by the fitting room until they figured out what they wanted to do...great. Eventually they let us into a fitting room- there were only 3 three other brides there so the place wasn't even busy! But, still, the employee who was assigned to help us kept disappearing and not really working with us... After the brides gown was chosen I had to find a maid of honor dress for myself. We picked out a few and I tried them on.We settled on one and then it was time to pay. At this time (of course) with a wedding dress and two bridal party gowns in hand, all the employees were surprisingly willing to help-welcome to the world of commission; no one wants to help but as soon as it's time to check out, then they're all eager to help. Grrr! Once it was time to pay for my dress, they told me that I could get the one that I had tried on. When I mentioned that I was not comfortable with that as these dresses get tried on on the regular, one of the employees snootily remarked that even if they ordered one it could come from another DB store rather than the warehouse. So, of course, I asked if they can make note in the system that the dress come from the warehouse. The answer; NO. Okay- so I pointed out a severe rip and some puckering in the mesh and told them I was not interesting in purchasing a damaged dress. At this point, the two employees conceded and ordered a dress to be delivered. It really didn't seem that difficult so it was really frustrating that they just didn't do this in the first place. Over all, I feel that this place sees itself as way more important and socialite than it is. There was no sense of comfort or welcome. I would rather drive hours to some place else than put up with the poor customer service in this place.

It's a summer wedding...for $400, I'd rather not have to wear extra undergarment layers OR expose my ass to my entire family

Brides on a budget seem to have extremely limited options in Burlington, so it's understandable that David's Bridal is usually packed on weekends. I made a weekend appointment online beforehand because I'd heard that they will pull dresses from your online "favorites" for you to try on. I called ahead of my time to confirm and was told that there was no record of my appointment and that they were so busy I shouldn't bother coming in without an appointment. Huh? The confirmation is in my email...? I made another appointment for the following Monday, thinking it would be less crazy. When I arrived for my appointment, they again had no record of it, but the store was empty, so they assigned me a consultant. The consultant told me to pick out dresses I liked and hang them on the rack to try on. She put a sticky note on one of the dressing rooms & that's pretty much the last I saw of her. The racks are overstuffed with dresses in plastic bags. It's really hard to see what you're looking at & there is no clear method to their organization. I picked out & tried on several dresses, could see through most of them, and left underwhelmed. Not sure why I needed an appointment in the first place...there was no service to speak of.

I made an appointment and upon arrival my stylist had me browse…read morethe dress selection and pick any I wanted to try - this was different for me as I'm used to consulting with them first and the stylist grabbing dresses for me. I found multiple to try on and she was quick and efficient helping me into each one. I don't think I found "the one" here, but they have a very wide selection (if I was under time pressure I would have purchased one at Fiori) and most are under 2000 which is good compared to other shops I've been to.

What should have been a nightmare situation thanks to a truly difficult seamstress was completely turned around by Holly and the incredible team at Fiori. Holly went above and beyond--not only managing the chaos caused by someone else's lack of professionalism but doing it with grace, kindness, and a calm presence I so desperately needed. When the seamstress completely dropped the ball, Holly opened her shop the day she was leaving for vacation--literally on her way to catch a flight--just to make sure I had the chance to try on my dress and feel good before the big day. Who does that?! She cared so much, she even called me the day before my wedding to check in and make sure I was okay. Thanks to Holly at Fiori, I walked down the aisle feeling confident, beautiful, and incredibly grateful. I looked for dresses spring of 2014. By the time I had actually arrived at Needlemans, I was exhausted and sick of looking for a dress. I had a plethora of terrible experiences at bridal shops all over the place, and I was about ready to throw in the towel! The staff at Needlemans was so helpful, encouraging, and understanding of my frustrations. They were very considerate and listened to my description of what I wanted and was looking for. It did not take long for them to get me into a dress and to find the perfect one for me. I said yes to the dress at Needlemans and it took LESS than 2 hrs from start to finish. The price was great, they even gave me a discount and offered to take a quarter of the payment upfront, and the rest later. I did not need alterations when my dress came in, but they also offered alterations upfront. It was so great to go in, and to be treated not only like a customer, but like a queen! I still have my dress, and I'll never be able to look at it and not think of how Needlemans assisted me, and all of the wedding memories it holds. Thank you Needlemans!

My daughters went in to try dresses for my oldest wedding. They walked in without an appointment…read more She picked out two dresses there she really liked. Both dresses were 200. or more. The Woman working wrote down the two style numbers of the dresses Because she knew my daughter wanted to bring the girls back to try them on. She did call to see if she could set up an appointment. The owner was rude and said it is Prom season so they would have to pay to use the two fitting rooms. The money would go toward the dresses When she bought them. My daughter said I was just there and we did not have to pay to use a fitting room. He mentioned on the phone that he was not in business to keep the internet going. She was going in with the girls to have them try on the two dresses and see which one they liked better of the two. That would be at least 800. in his pocket. She decided they would all go together without an appointment. They showed up shortly after opening. The Owner asked them if they had an appointment when they said no he said they could come back at 3:00 and they had to pay for the fitting room. He again mentioned it is Prime Prom season. So if you go to look at prom dresses you do not have to pay for a fitting room. If you go to try on Bridesmaids dresses you do? When they refused to pay to have an appointment the Owner went off on them about how he is not in the business to support the internet. The five girls left without trying anything on. I called Mark going to say one of those girls was here from Texas. He immediately cut me off and said " you don't know the whole story. Have a good day." He hung up the phone on me. Again these girls were in fact going to go in and pick one of the two dresses my daughter really liked there. They had full intentions of buying there. Thanks to Mark's unprofessional manners they did end up going online and found different dresses that look as beautiful and cost less. He in fact lost 800.+ because he was straight up rude!
