The staff was not friendly or see if you need any help. First it started off when we entered and nobody spoke first I spoke first. We had to ask them for help then they still acted like we were bothering them. The black guy was looking at his phone then the black female with braids finally came over and was still no help. She just told us that the dresses on the wooden hangers were all they had in the store and we were going to have to look through them. Very bad customer service so I don't recommend at all. I purchased a dress for the upcoming wedding in the store. Unfortunately the store did not have a size of the dress I wanted to try on, so I ended up ordering one to be shipped to the store. After waiting for my dress for over a month, it finally arrived. The size I ordered did not fit at all. I came back to the store to return my dress and was unpleasantly surprised with their return policy which is absolutely absurd. You have 7 days to cancel a transaction if you purchased something in the store, even if you have not even received your item. I am so disappointed with this type of policy, especially during a pandemic, when so many people are ordering clothes online and are able to return it fairly easy. I will never shop at this store again, and certainly will not recommend anyone else to do so. read more

Wish I could give this place 0 stars. Rude staff. The 3 different times I went to this location I had an issue. First time, I went to try on wedding dresses and they overbooked so I had no one to really help me put the dresses on or clip them. My mom and sister were the ones helping to clip the dress. Second time I went back for alterations and the lady wasn't there for my appointment so they asked to reschedule WHEN I SHOWED UP (I drove over 2 hours.) Third time was my final alterations appointment and the dress had an oil stain on it (that wasn't there before.) she took it to the back and tried to get it out but it was wet when she came back so we couldn't really tell if it was gone. We asked what will we do if we get home and the stain isn't gone... she told me that whoever I bought it from (David's Bridal in Hattiesburg) would need to be the one to get the stain out. I told her that the location is closed down so that's not possible.. she continued to tell me that that's the rule. Makes no sense since alterations is the one who made the stain?? I never received any apologies for all 3 times at David's Bridal. DO NOT SHOP HERE! I'd highly recommend spending your money somewhere else where the staff will make you feel appreciated and feel good about yourself, especially as a bride. read more

On 12/27/21 was my second time going to David's Bridal as the bride to be and getting assistance. My assistant/consultant for the day was Nancy. Ms. Nancy was so sweet and caring! She was attentive for every second of my appointment. She laughed with me and my family and gave her honest opinion as well. Ms. Nancy made me feel beautiful in every single dress that I tried on! I placed an order for a bridesmaid dress for my daughter a couple of weeks ago. I got an email saying it had arrived. I drove 2 hours to the store and it was there, but very wrinkled. When I asked the store staff about having it pressed, I was told that there would be a $40 charge for pressing it. However their website says all dresses get a complimentary pressing before they leave the store. Also, as my daughter was changing back into her clothes, the same staff sent another customer into her dressing room. The store was empty except for us and this one other customer, so all the other dressing rooms were empty. The other customer was very embarrassed and apologetic, and the staff member yelled "they should have been out of there already." Very unprofessional behavior and we didn't appreciate being lied to about the $40 pressing fee. Follow up - I called the store and asked to speak with the manager. It was the same one from last night who said steaming is $40. She insisted that they charge that fee for steaming and when I told her what was on the website she said it wasn't worded well and that she would do it for free just for me. I explained that I live two hours away and that wouldn't be feasible, but that my cousin and her bridal party was coming in today and shouldn't be charged when the website says it's free. She said the site was referring just to alterations done at their store, and I pointed out that's not what the site says. She said it was just for bridal gowns, and I told her that's not what the site says. I walked her through finding the information on her computer. She said she would talk to her district manager but that their policy is to charge for steaming. I pointed out that local dress shops steam formal dresses for free, because if you're spending hundreds of dollars on a dress, you shouldn't be taking it home full of wrinkles. It literally costs them nothing to do - just a little bit of extra work to make sure the customer receives their dress in great condition. read more

Please do not trust these people with something as important as your wedding dress! I purchased my dress over a year ago at this David's Bridal location and was told to wait until closer to the wedding day to have alterations done. So about a month ago, I went in for my appointment. My dress only needed a couple inches taken up in the hem and some bra cups added- should have been a very simple fix. During my alterations appointment, I discussed with the seamstress how worried I was about the dress being too short as I have heard horror stories of this happening. She pinned my dress hem so that it grazed the floor when I stood in my heels with my petticoat on. She assured me that it would be the perfect length so I agreed and left. I needed the dress for my bridal portraits a month later, so she tried to charge me a rush fee even though when I had called and discussed the alterations I was told there would be no rush fee. They told me that the earliest I could pick up the dress was two days before my portraits. That was this past Friday when I showed up and the dress showed my entire foot without having either my shoes or petticoat on. THEY RUINED MY WEDDING DRESS. It was at the very least four inches too short and the tulle layers looked like they had been cut by a four year-old with school scissors. The alterations manager came back and her solution was that I wear flats instead, even though it was too short when I stood flat-footed. She told us that she was going to see if she could get a new one in and left us sitting in the alterations room waiting for more than an hour before we finally left. She then called and told us that her solution was to order a new dress that is two sizes too big and they would alter it to fit me. How in the world do they expect me to trust them to do this?! I had to cancel my portraits and now I am a month away from my wedding and I do not have a dress. To add to this, none of the staff was apologetic. The store manager was very rude, just staring at me with a blank look on her face when I waited to tell the alterations manager that we were leaving. After all of this, I received not a single apology from the store manager or the alterations manager. My experience has been an absolute nightmare and it seems as though no one even cares. read more

The new David's bridal location is wonderful. It's very neat and the staff is helpful, but the most helpful consultant there is Ebony. She make you feel really comfortable,she's patient, and know her stuff. I really enjoyed finding my wedding dress with her and my bridal partys' dresses, also. If you are going to be a bride in the near future I recommend them. read more
