These guys are awesome. Had some tires needing swapped on my lady's mustang. They were off the car said I could bring them right over. Had the tires ready to go by the end of the day. No issues that can happen once and awhile when replacing z rated lower profile style tires. They use sticky weights instead of hammering them on. Great pricing as well! A++ read more

Updating from one star to 3 stars. They did finally complete my repair, the third week in a row I had to bring it in, and were kind enough to give me a ride to pick it up. They were fair and didn't try to charge any more than the original repair estimate. That being said: I won't bring a vehicle here again. They do some good things: Caught 2 broken hoses, and fixed them in addition to my original repair, at the same cost! However: on the original repair, they didn't install the seal they were paid to install. $700!!! I brought it in for another repair the next week, and they "caught" that the original repair wasn't done correctly, and are now placing the missing seal; however I cannot be sure they've done it correctly. (Update: it still leaked on the second try) I also got the vehicle back COVERED in oil from the leak, still smoking, they made NO attempt to clean the engine off from the leak they repaired. I had to insist they remove some of the leaked oil in the engine compartment, and ultimately I've had to degrease it myself. So: bad repair, missing parts "noticed" at the next visit, returned to me dirty is not outweighed by them doing a good job of catching other issues. I had hoped to find a good shop I could bring my vehicles to, consistently-but I am still looking. There are 2 other shops in town, I'll see how they turn out. read more

Had a tune up on my older 4 runner the owner was around and was very kind the tune up was done well and my rig is still going strong. Fast efficient and very kind overall I had a great experience and no complaints about anything from this shop. read more

He's very nice and easy to deal with. He answered his phone during lunch hour, took him 7 min to fix my door problem and he didn't even charge me. I tried to offer lunch or coffee. He said no worry. Great guy! read more

We've had two cars into David's for repair - one a few times to fix issues caused by an incompetent dealership mechanic. They're honest and reliable, and do excellent work. I will always cringe at the cost of car repair, but that said, I've found their prices to be fair. They always make time to answer questions and address concerns. read more

My car had been an issue for a while but Dave took care of it right away. He gave me a ride to work early in the morning and had my car ready to go by the time I was off. Not only did he fix the issue I came in for, he also went the extra mile to pop out some dents I had in my bumper. I went to David's Automotive in February 2014. He came recommended by two neighbors of mine. Shop looked clean and organized, well maintained. I received personal attention to my vehicle needs, and he seemed to know what to do to take care of it. Although I received great service, the two stars are for the prices that he charges. He marked up a $400 NAPA OEM vehicle part, and charged me $625 for it, over a 50% markup which was an extra $225. I could have easily bought the part down the street at NAPA, and did confirm he used the same part. He also charged over $90 per labor hour, almost as much as a dealership. The cost to repair my vehicle was $1,200 so I called two other shops to see what they would have charged. I was quoted $550 and $600 from these two other shops. While David performed good work, double the cost is a bit much, and would have rather paid a small premium for his work and become a loyal customer, rather that get gouged at both the parts and labor. Shop around and get quotes from other shops, and compare before your work at his shop. If you can afford it, seems that he does good work. But expensive!! read more
