This is the second time that I've taken my Subaru to David. All I have to say is that David and his team are very, very good mechanics. And just as important, they are very honest. They will not try to upsell you or lie to you and tell you that you need work, when you really don't. I thought my car needed an alternator or starter and even told David this before I had it towed in to his shop. Turns out all he had to do was tighten some battery cables on the motor side of the cable and clean my battery connections. He didn't want to charge me, but I gave him a $40 tip just to show some appreciation. I'm never taking my car anywhere else. If I could give him six stars, I would!! read more

I had an issue with my 88 Buick Reatta. I brought the car to the shop and although I did not get work done by them, their honesty is why I gave them 5 stars. It is hard to find a reliable and honest car mechanic nowadays (like wtf ya know). But the guys at this shop were upfront and did not want to charge me for a job that I most likely wont need. David is just one of those guys, I suppose. I was recommended to him by one of his all-time regular dude in "Big Mike." I died up on a Saturday on an Easter weekend to get his opinion on my 2006 Toyota Sequoia shaking when accelerating between 30-40 MPH. Unfortunately, he was tied up & busy with multiple appointments. He asked if I could drop in another day, preferably on a weekday. I did not make until two Saturdays after to which he immediately recognized me and said "I'll be right with you." I patiently waited and when he got freed up - he asked for my keys to drive it with me to see where the problem is. I did not have to remind him. We drive out at various accelerating speed. He noted that the "shaking" only happens when it was slowly shifting its gear. I didn't tell him that it was also my observation. He did not charge me for the half hour he spent with me and suggested to take it back to the place that serviced the transmission a few months before whom won't even talk to us when we bring it back for check up. I was very disappointed with that other shop. We are, however, very happy with David Tech! I highly recommend David for services. read more

We have been bringing our cars here for well over 10 years. David and his crew are top notch. David's prices are excellent and he's up front with you. Many times he's shown me a part on my car so I know what he's replacing. If possible he also offers parts at different price points which I have never experienced anywhere else. They finish their work on time and I've never had to bring my car back because the problem isn't resolved. One time I needed the timing belt changed on my van which required removing the engine. He said that typically, the fuel pump goes out within 7000 miles of where I was and it would be parts and an hour of labor to change it now instead of paying labor to pull the engine a second time just a few months down the road. Saved me lots of time and money getting it all done at once. David's is the best hands down. read more

My mom actually introduced me to him when she was going to him for basic maintenance. He works on all makes and models, trucks and autos alike. I take both of my vehicles, one for me and one for my wife for all work not just basic maintenance and he has yet to fail me. I have a BMW and a LEXUS, and he worked on my Eclipse, Explorer, Corolla and my mom's Buick and Oldsmobile. I normally bring in all the parts and he just installs them for me at a great price. I went to a mechanic who lifted my truck, checked it out and told me it was the rotors. I changed them and nothing changed. Then I randomly found David's Auto since it close by Work and they were the first to answer my call. I show up the next morning and before he even drove it he put it in drive, heard the noise and knew what it was. Within just a few hours it was fixed and I was priced extremely fairly. Best auto shop in the area! Honest and hardworking people. Went in with my belts loose and rpm low ( random shut off). They tuned my belt for free and since my car took longer to find problem and rpm was still low they did not charge me for replacing the new computer part they attempted. Also I would like to say my car WAS fixed , rpm at start is now around 2-3k per usual instead of 1k or below, and my car does not shut off anymore. He is so nice and treats you with respect and how a customer should be treated. The price was very reasonable and took care of the problem with the water pump within a few hours.
