She has bathroom issues the requires her to carry extra underwear and pads in her purse. What little enjoyment she has is coming to your store to get out a little and see things as much as she can till we walked into your store. We were told to put our purses in the locker or we couldn't enter! My mom tried to tell the lady without announcing to the whole world the she has bathroom issues and carries appropriate things and a lot of times she doesn't have time to go to a locker and get a purse with 1 blind eye and was told she couldn't shop unless she did. Have you ever tried to maneuver an 86 year old, blind in 1 eye with bathroom issues while carrying my phone, wallet, reading glasses along with my mother's wallet, phone, glasses, underwear and pads while shopping?! Impossible! My mother has spent a lot of money in your store to have her degraded and totally embarrassed by your employee. These type of stores are notorious for that, waiting for the right buyer mentality, both endearing and slightly insane. Is there anything I personally wanted here? Not at all. Even for free? Still a no from me. Where others in my group tempted? Oh yes! The funny socks, big game fish scene, and a fashionable classic lounge chair all got attention. However, I do like that it's really reasonably priced - I just bought a large globe of the Earth (fairly recent too) for just 12 dollars. The staff also has a great knowledge of the contents of the store, and if you ask them a vague-ish question (i.e. Chinese objects/clothing for a cultural lesson on the Chinese New Year), they're able to point you in a very specific direction. Also, this is the location of the annual Galesburg Chocolate Festival. For less than the price of a movie ticket you can go in and sample basically chocolate anythings to your heart's content.

It is such a wonderful shop, it is always nice to visit here. The shop is always neat and orderly and very nicely decorated. Prices are fair and I always find something to buy. It is a family run shop, they are so nice and friendly. I am so happy to write this review for a shop I really enjoy. I wish it were closer to home. I always stop there if I am out that way or returning from somewhere farther out. Also if you go in the nice weather, they have a pretty garden to admire out back behind the building.
