My ring is perfect, however I wouldn't recommend the service at this location. I went in once for a…read morering cleaning. One man working and four people waiting for service when he had to call someone from the back to help. Waited a good 30 minutes until we were helped. Second visit was to ask about appraisal for insurance to find out it has to be sent off for weeks (already dealt with this during COVID and didn't get my husbands band back for FOUR months and after wedding - we had to call to many no return calls). This was after waiting for 30 minutes after same salesman was working alone while you could hear another associate in the back on the phone (on a personal call and could hear conversation). I also had people waiting after me too. If you want to be waited on in appropriate fashion, go somewhere else. This location needs more associates. :/

My boyfriend and I went Zales this past weekend to look at engagement rings. We were greeted…read morequickly and went back to the case with the diamonds. The woman helping us seemed nice until my boyfriend walked away. When he walked away to look at a watch quickly, she whispered to me "honey, what is his budget?". So, I let her know on the budget we had agreed on before going. She looked at me and said "you need to get him to up that budget. You won't be able to get anything in that range". I was appalled. People go in looking at rings in all budgets and we didn't go in with an unhealthy budget as we had already looked online and knew an approx range of the type of ring we wanted to purchase. Once he came back, she told me that all we could afford was cluster rings and showed me a few rings that looked like they came out of charming charlies and was quite pushy that we purchase one. We left. If that is how Zales wants to do business by insulting their clients - then they can keep their jewelry. We ended up going to another jeweler and found exactly what we wanted, within our price point, with significantly better customer service!

As I'm reading over the reviews posted by others on this site, I find myself rolling my eyes,…read morewondering what store they're talking about (and whether any of them have even the slightest idea of either the differences between fine quality and junk jewelry, or what's involved in creating the jewelry that they see in showrooms or wear on their bodies), because as a formally trained and certified silversmith (a long time ago, in a former career) I actually happen to know both, having not only designed, hand fabricated and sold fine jewelry before, but actually competed and won an award for it at the national level, 30+ years ago. From that perspective, what I can tell you without hesitation is that the jewelers and sales staff at Vallee's Jewelers not only DO know very well what they're doing' but they know it a whole lot better than many of their competitors do. (In fact, their in-house bench jeweler/goldsmith is a 3rd generation Master Jeweler and certified Master Watchmaker with more than 50 years of hands-on experience in the trade, which is an incredible rarity, nowadays!) Not only that, but the store's sales professionals are also top notch, with decades of experience under their belts, as well. What most people don't understand is that better than 80% of the jewelry they see in stores and online is made in low rent sweatshops, where the focus is on cranking out volume at the lowest possibly price, rather than painstakingly crafting pieces of wearable art that are made to be worn and enjoyed for generations The difference between the two are not only in durability and in price, but also in the amount of a Master Craftsman's time required to make it happen. The same is true of repairs: in order to give an accurate price quote for the repair of anything more complicated than a ring re-sizing (especially if it's on a piece that was made in a foreign sweatshop), it's sometimes necessary to first spend some time double-checking that the piece is solid, rather than made from hollow tubing (as is sometimes the case). Since broken pieces of solid metal can easily be welded or brazed (soldered) back together again, but hollow pieces cannot, what happens to a craftsman's reputation in the eyes of a customer, if he promises to do something for a reasonable price and then discovers that he cannot? As for interpersonal treatment, I have been in their store several times (including right before closing time on the Friday night of a holiday weekend, when everyone was in a rush to put the long week behind them and get home to the ones they love), and even then, I was greeted warmly and treated well by everyone I met. Needless to say, I am and will most likely continue to be a fan of theirs. 5 out of 5 stars!

BEWARE! Unethical return policies. I purchased a $3500 item as a gift and needed to return it…read moreexactly a week later as the person did not like it. I was informed that they only offer store credit. I pointed to the sign on their wall that stated items could be returned within 10 days with receipt, except for custome items, which my item was not. That apparently was NOT their return policy, silly me. The "real" return policy was on another wall, not in plane view that stated store credit. They also pointed out the fine print on my receipt, which is not a legal form of communication as it needs to be done ahead of the sale, not after, according to the Massachusetts guide to retail rights. https://archives.lib.state.ma.us/bitstream/handle/2452/112829/ocn181340217.pdf?sequence=1&isAllowed=y#:~:text=Massachusetts%20law%20requires%20merchants%20to,days%2C%E2%80%9D%20and%20so%20on.

I work in nursing and need my watch every night. It's tough not having it on my arm and having to hold it in my hand. The lady was very kind and friendly brought me out several different selections. I did mention I would rather have a metal band cause it seems to last longer works better for me and so she got me that it ended up costing like under $20 just to get the new band that have installed and everything without a problem so a couple other pieces were picking up for our children for Christmas and they were very reasonable as well. They have a great selection of jewelry watches Find jewelry, which is like diamonds, etc., for engagement or renewal or if that one person just finally had that baby they've been waiting for forever. It's just an incredible place. They also make pins or emblem buttons for your shirt like if you've been 25 years with a company they can put the company's name on there plus the 25 years they pull pictures of things on it. They may click little awards award, be a shirt, then white selection of gifts and things it would be wise to stop the year before you head to any large jewelry store at the mall or any other place that says they sell great stuff. This one you actually get a family owned business business with the people people coming right out to take care of you it's not big, but it's big enough. It's not overwhelming. I like it myself we have been in many times to get stuff and I wouldn't trade that type of jeweler for anything all that type of service. You would do best to check them out the next time you wanna make that big proposal.
