He went above and beyond spending time speaking to the infectious disease doctor and they both were in agreement . He did a procedure on my dad's back , then a few weeks later he cleared out his veins in his leg and put a stent in his leg. I feel he is one of those doctors that make a difference! The guy has some a seriously terrible bedside manner, but he is really good at what he does, so it all cancels out. Dr. Hales is _the_ hand expert in TriCities, so if your hand is ailin', come see this guy. He took great care of my broken finger--it healed like it had never snapped into 3 pieces, all without surgery. He managed to squeeze me in as an emergency about an hour after I got x-rayed at and sent on from the urgent care center. When it came time for surgery to release a trigger finger, he squeezed me in to accomodate my crazy schedule on extremely short notice. On top of that, he did an amazing job of making the incision in the crease in my palm so that it's barely visible. I'm still amazed about the lack of pain, speed of recovery, and return to 100% use/normalcy. Woo!

I am so disappointed that their responses to questions lacked any caring or compassion. Complaints of increased pain went unanswered or told " part of it," I would never, ever recommend them. Having never gone there before, I was caring for a relative, am horrified that these are the doctors we have here locally. The lack of listening to the patient was hard to listen to each visit. Our last visit was enough for me. I would have walked out but my relative believed they would live so much longer because of treatments. The nurses and lab staff are wonderful and get all AAAA+++++ Otherwise I recommend to stay away.
