The front office employees are amazing - all the woman are great spirits and energy, usually having no issues at all and enjoying their company - honestly upstanding characters and very respectful. Dr. Timko is very particular - a quiet and reserved man, his communication skills are less than par imo - sometimes it felt as though questions were ignored and you'll often get a relatively blank stare to questions asked if it's not on the agenda. It would sometimes feel as though he was a "solution" finder, rather than a "problem" finder and it sometimes left me feeling unsatisfied after our interactions as he wanted to find the solution rather than explore the problem. Conversations are extraordinarily quick and can leave a bad taste in your mouth. Performance of the surgery's went well enough, though I must recommend elsewhere if you have any major nerve issues with surgery related procedure - having an exceptional fear of needles, the nurses did amazingly at keeping their cool, but the doctor didn't do nearly as well of a job. Overall the firm did a fine job conducting the surgery - but the social interactions can make the experience far from perfect.

I was to owe $50 for my deductible and that was it. Now, well after the fact and with insurance involved, I am being told I owe more. In fact, I have received more than one letter outlining different amounts that might be due. One dated 1-12-26 says "Please pay $2,335.00 by 2-2-26". Another dated 1-20-26 claims I owe $625.00 due immediately. The fact of the matter is, I likely owe nothing, but I needed to get someone from their office to justify to the insurance company why the surgical codes billed were necessary. Such as simple ask, where the answer gets the office paid, and gets me out of the discussion. Win win. But no. It was already unpleasant to receive letters stating that I should provide "immediate attention" to the situation, but even more so when I had to leave a message twice (three days apart) to get someone in the office to respond. Definitely not "immediate". Don't expect me to act "immediately" if your team cannot act immediately. Prior to calling the office, I called my insurance to see what they would say is the issue. The issue is, the office billed for surgical codes and procedures, yet provided no notes to justify why the surgery was needed (as opposed to a simple extraction). When the office representative called me back, she was very short and unsympathetic to my situation. She basically told me it was my problem, and that all the paperwork I received prior said "estimate" so it is what it is. She said your office does not submit "notes" and only submits an x-ray. She told me the x-ray is enough to which I stated it obviously is not.....as here we are. I asked if there was any way to get the justification over to the insurance, and was told perhaps if they wanted to send something....but your rep was not willing to do anything to help facilitate the reconciliation or to make that happen. It is unfortunate, after having trusted your office to help me navigate this journey, that she could be so unwilling to assist or to help provide for some type of mutually agreeable solution. I shared my feelings also about being in the middle between their office and the insurance company trying to mediate but that was of little concern as well. I contacted my insurance again, and ultimately was told that they would pay the claim out, but they do need some type of surgical notes or explanation as to why my teeth had to be surgically removed as opposed to a standard extraction. They provided the attached EOB, and said I could write back with my own narrative as to why the teeth needed to be surgically removed......but I am not sure I am qualified or would provide what they need to justify the charge/procedure. I tried to call the office back, and to speak with someone else to simply see if anyone could help in providing a simple justification statement outlining why surgical removal was necessary. I think this is a simple request to a simple issue, and again hate that a staff member with less than stellar customer service skills felt it appropriate to dump a $625 bill in my lap, instead of working with me to resolve the matter (for all involved). At the time of this review, the issue remains unresolved, and I await a response from the office to see if they will provide me with the justification my insurance seeks in order to pay the claim.

These days everyone's trying to say it's safe with metal and x-rays, but I know I can't put a spoon in a microwave. Next I'm poor and was asking if my Medicaid could cover Invisalign because my teeth are very sensitive in a few little certain areas because of a misalignment other than that my teeth are good. I've only had four cavities back when I was 14 years old I'm 30 now , another lady comes in and starts trying to sell me veneers she wanted to shave my perfectly good teeth down and charge me hundreds to thousands per tooth. These people do not give a shit the whole place was packed out like we're cattle in there. Weirdos and psychos in there. so now I've had my head x-rayed with who knows what consequences and nothing to show for it. And FYI, the government takes those taxes out of my paychecks every two weeks for the Medicaid that I have. so I'm not getting shit free either

I typically dread any visit to a dental office but I was in severe unrelenting pain for the prior…read more48 hours and my regular dentist had recommended a root canal. Fortunately, he referred me to Dr. Bell. From the moment I walked into the office, there was a feeling of serenity and hospitality. I was seen very close to my appointment time and the assistant did a very thorough intake, including several imaging studies. Dr. Bell explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. This man is absolutely brilliant and it was obvious from the moment he began describing the procedure and the options. Dr. Bell did a few painless injections of local anesthetics and then the procedure itself was completely pain free. After hearing such horror stories of how painful a root canal procedure could be, I was apprehensive. But it was totally unwarranted; I felt absolutely nothing during the procedure. The entire evolution was very efficient and professional and I was completely at ease. I was stunned at how uneventful and painless the entire procedure turned out to be. My point in writing this: don't delay an indicated root canal because of dental phobia. The longer you wait, the more likely the dental issue will progress. This is the place to go; they will take exceptional care of you if my experience was any indication of the incredibly professional and efficient practice at the Pensacola Center for Endodontics. I could not have imagined a better experience. I am forever grateful to Dr. Bell and his staff for accommodating me on short notice. Dr. Bell truly cares about helping his patients and it was evident in the entire interaction.
