First off this place is boujee, beverages in waiting room, massage/heated seats in chair & then a tv when you're getting work done- anways, I was greeted by Hannah & Ashley. Barely had time to sit down before I was seen by Katherine & Chrissy who were very knowledgeable. My exam went good. Then the man with the plan- Dr Leblanc came & answered any questions I had. Ann was extremely helpful assisting me with insurance claim issues. She went above and beyond in working with my provider to get claims paid. She was very patient and professional as she assisted me with the process as my insureance company tried to avoid paying a claim. In the end they paid the claim due to Ann's assistance. read more

This place here is one of the worst places to go for treatment. I had been going to this dentist for about a year. During my first visit, I explained to the lady that I was having some problems with one of my teeth, keep in mind I have not one insurance but two. She wanted me to see someone else who did not take my insurance, so on the next visit, I told them about it, and this is what she said to me Well, if you do not want to go, then it's up to you. I just let it go until today, when I arrived for my 7:30 appointment, and they did not see me until 7:45 because they wanted me to pay them $12.00 and some change before they would even see me. I paid it, and I asked how I owe you when I have two insurances. To make a long story short, I was there for a cleaning, and they wanted to conduct a completely new patient exam on me, despite my visit being for a cleaning only. So, I refused to let them do it, and this dentist came into the exam room. This is how he spoke to me. We did this because we needed to see what's going on. I was just there six months ago. He continued to talk in this rude voice, and what made me leave was when he said, 'Are you listening to me?' " I am not a child; I am a grown woman. No one will speak to me like that. After he saw that I was over it, he said, 'Well, you can just find another dentist office.' That's when I said, 'I will,' and walked out. This place does not care about whether you are a person or a human being; all they care about is money, and that's why he was so rude to me, because I would not let them take all their X-rays just so that they could bill both of my insurance companies for nothing. After all, they do not take pride in their care; they want your insurance money. Please beware and look around before you pick this place. I gave them a one because I could not give them a zero; a zero is what they deserved. read more

would NEVER recommend this place to anyone. they originally quoted me for a 4-phase dental care plan for around $3,000. I stupidly started phase 1 and they kept adding on more and more charges for things i "need done" that i wasn't originally told about. They did this only AFTER they'd already started drilling my teeth. In phase one, they worked on three teeth and I ended up having to pay over $2000 out of pocket. Thats WITH insurance. I was in a very vulnerable state as i was going through some major health issues and the stress and dishonesty of it all caused me to have a breakdown on the exam chair. The almost unbearable pain of all the procedures made it even worse. The staff was literally the only positive thing about my experience. NEVER ever go here. read more

I drove from Mobile to Pensacola for a cleaning appointment, but the hygienist wasted so much time doing X-rays and sitting there waiting for the dentist, instead of getting to the cleaning! From reading other reviews, this seems to be a trend and my wife had the same experience which it's quite frustrating. I really enjoyed the practice a few years ago, but I can't waste my time driving all over the panhandle and not receiving and the treatment I scheduled. The greeters, the Tech's are all above average, and the Doctors were imported from West Virginia. The care is what makes the difference. I and my family have enjoyed Taylor Dental now for several years. People there are friendly, helpful, and professional. I still don't enjoy 'going to the dentist' as a matter of course based on experiences growing up, but Taylor Dental has helped reduce much of that anxiety for me. Getting a standard appointment (i.e. checkup/cleaning) needs to be made well in advance. But if you are having an issue, they are really good at getting you in quickly to take care of the problem. A bunch of frauds! Came here and they claimed I had 8 cavities and that my insurance did not cover white fillings. Never had this problem so I went to Cordova Family Dentistry for a second opinion and they let me know that my teeth were fine and that I had no cavities. This also happened to a friend of mine where Taylor Dental said she had 10 cavities and needed a crown as well. Do not let the fancy dental chairs, TVs on the ceiling, and coffee cups fool you. This place is a total gimmick. I made a new patient visit. I knew they would want to take X-rays and i specifically wanted my teeth cleaned. I TOOK OFF WORK for this apt. So I get in the chair and as the x-ray tech is sticking the card in my mouth, and she says. "By the way the hygienist is booked so you'll need to come back next week for a cleaning." I know she saw my face drop. I was so mad I wanted to leave right then. So not only did I pay $189 for just x-rays, but they wanted me to "invest" in a plan that way when I came back to get my teeth cleaned it would only be another $100. Clincher was, when I looked at the details for the cleaning charges they had listed a $60+ fluoride treatment for me. I'm a 50 year old adult! I don't need that crap! My previous hygienist told me it was a crock and not to pay for it. Not going back and will not recommend. read more

I couldn't ask for a better experience! I am always very anxious when seeing a dentist due to a long history of "teeth trauma " but everyone in this office goes above and beyond to make me feel at ease. My hygienist, Jessica, was so knowledgeable and thorough with my cleaning. Liz was so patient and kind keeping me company during my pre/post procedure and Dr. LaBlanc was gentle, kind and very professional. Completed my semi annual cleaning. Likes: amazing friendly staff, knowledgeable Dr Leblanc, hygienist validated my cavity by taking a pic and showing me. While I trust their judgement, this places them on top. Worth mentioning the overhead tv and vibrating chair. Will continue to go here. Like less: cross selling additional products. read more

There were some positives to my experience so I'll start with that. It's a very clean and high tech facility. I liked that I was able to watch tv during the service and everyone that I came into contact with were very nice and friendly. As for the negatives, I went in for a simple filling to be replaced and instead was told that I needed over $6000 worth of dental work. Mind you I wasn't in any pain whatsoever. Apparently they thought I needed multiple route canals, multiple cleanings because they weren't able to clean my teeth in 1 sitting. Also when they took my x rays that goes around your entire head, I mentioned that I gave me a headache and the technician said no didn't. After this quote, I immediately went back to my dentist that I have had since childhood. They did my cleaning in 1 session, couldn't find a single cavity, no route canals needed and all I need is the replacement filling that I asked for. I would be very careful and trust your intuition. Don't pay for dental work that you don't need! read more

Arrived for appointment I scheduled two weeks ahead only to learned it was canceled. Office started a new policy sometime in 2018 that I was unaware of because I became a customer in 2017. The front desk pushed saying I signed a policy I clearly knew nothing about. The office manager restated the policy, again I knew nothing about. Then, an appointment was scheduled following that without my knowledge today. I like the dentist and his assistant. I'm torn about going back because the old front desk made me feel like a person. Updated.... I went in for a filling and a cleaning since my last review. At the filling appt-The dentist did his work, felt a bit rough, but then again I am not a fan of going to the dentist in the first place. After removing the metal ring he let me know there was a little lip on the filling and if food was getting caught in there to go back and he would fix it. Maybe he should have fixed it then, when he realized it. That tooth is still very sensitive. But no, I did not go back to have him fix it. I went in for my cleaning, last week, and when the hygienist hit that tooth, it about sent me through the roof! She said I should come back and have him fix it. She then pointed out, that there "might be a cavity" in between two other teeth, where there is currently a silver filling. She took a photo showed me and compared it to staining on another tooth, which looked identical. Then she proceeded to tell me I need to floss. I relied telling her I floss ALL OF THE TIME. I am not exaggerating, I really do. I have flowers in my purse, my recliner, my car.I told her I just wanted my teeth cleaned, that I would probably get a second opinion. She then called the dentist in, he didn't hardly say a word except "hi, cancer screening good," then the hygienist told him to take an extra look at that spot. He looked quick, told her the codes to replace the filling, and left. At this point I just said to the hygienist, with tears rolling down my cheek, "I would appreciate if you would just clean my teeth today. I'll be getting another opinion on the filling" She was rude and rough after that and my mouth was sore the rest of that day and the next. I had tears for the last 10 minutes of that exam. Do you think a manager or anyone approached me? No. I just called to set up appts for my children (they have had great experiences)..... only to be told they had inactivated me! Nobody called me to ask my side of the story or confirm I wasn't going back there; which myself nor my family are now. So disappointed. I guess I should have listened to the other people who had similar experiences. read more

Everything was good until Kira made a mistake. Kira is the young lady that handles the finances. Everything that needs to be paid at Taylor Dental is paid before services are rendered. Somehow, I have a bill on my credit report from Taylor Dental because Kira can't count. So SIX MONTHS after services were rendered, Taylor Dental refused to see my other two children without notice because of an outstanding payment demand. Instead of this company, who comfortably takes in about a half million dollars a year, mostly from the military, taking the heat for what THEY did wrong, they want to be petty and put it on my credit report. In addition, I probably wouldn't have been so upset if it hadn't been six months and if they'd told me before I drove two of my children across town at 7am for an appointment only to be told they would not be seen unless I paid for Kira's inability to properly account for the offices patient accounts. Sadly, the dental hygienists and dentists are great, but Kira is an accountant that can't count. read more

While my family has loved going to this dentist for years, their service has taken a dramatic turn for the worse. We had to remove our family from their patient list. They frequently call to reschedule appointments, often the same day. Additionally, if you have children, do NOT go here. They have zero patience and bedside manner with children. My four year old has developed a fear of the dentist strictly based off of her experiences at Taylor Dental. They do not explain to the children what they are doing. They are not gentle. If your child so much as cries one time, they immediately refer you to a child dentist and will refuse to see your child going forward. They advertise as a dental practice for the whole family, but they certainly are not. I would not recommend their office to anyone anymore. read more

How a dentist gets away with fraudulent charges is beyond me. The staff has been wonderful except for Kari the financial manager (in title only, she has no managerial skills whatsoever.) I was informed by the reception area when entering and departing that there would be no charges for a cleaning visit today. My hygienist also said the exact same as I sat in the chair. Well 3 months later I get an over due bill and called to clarify. Kari did not want to give me the time of day other than there was a debt on my part for the visit. Now 3 months later I receive the bill again and spoke with Kari and getting nowhere with her rudeness asked for the doctor to call me. She said no and I said I would like to come and speak with the doctor. She said "if you show up on premisses I will call the police!" What a pathetic individual and I am surprised she is on staff. I will never go back to Taylor because of their financial practices and very rude financial individual. I will never recommend Taylor Dentistry to anyone, ever. Kari is not helping your operation and is terrible for community relations. read more

I had been avoiding the dentist for sometime until I recently got an awful toothache that I could not ignore. I called Taylor Dental that morning and was scheduled for an appointment that afternoon. Being that I am someone who suffers from dental office anxiety, I was concerned about how my visit was going to go. Fortunately, every staff member whom I spoke to was compassionate and knowledgeable, especially Amy and La Wanda. I can say that they made my experience as calming as possible. I saw two of the dentists, Dr. LeBlanc and Dr. Garner, both who were professional and considerate. Dr. LeBlanc preformed the procedure that afternoon and sent me home with a descriptive at home recovery list. He also called the next day to see how I was feeling. Going to the dentist is something that gives me anxiety, but this office was very accommodating, kind, and thorough. Only complaint is upon leaving they gave me a gift bag that was a tumbler and a pen. It was nice, but I would use toothpaste, toothbrushes, or floss more. GUYS. If you need a new dentist you have to come here. I called as a new patient for a same day appointment and had absolutely no problem getting in right when I needed to. Also, unfortunately my dental coverage doesn't start for another three weeks and they were very sensitive you that situation and made sure I knew all of my options and got me going in the right direction until my coverage starts. I.e. dealing with the discomfort I'm experiencing with a bad tooth and getting me a script for antibiotics and the option to call back for a more advanced pain killer should I need it. Also the exam chairs have heated massage and they have cable tv on the ceiling for you to watch during your exam (whaaaaat???? I know it's crazy). Every experience I've ever had with a dentist has been unfortunate to say the least. I had no idea going to the dentist could be a pleasurable experience (especially on a bad day for my teeth). I might even say I'm borderline excited to go back and get my teeth all fixed up and pretty! read more

Went for my routine cleaning and new patient xrays. I'm covered by tricare and still had to pay out of pocket, but the payment was minimal so I accepted it this visit. This office is located in the shopping Plaza with Tuesday Morning, TJ Maxx and other shopping stores are. Office was nice and clean. Minimal wait time, was seen within 10 mins of appointment time. The front desk people were nice and friendly. Sitting area stocked with fridge of mini water bottles, coffee, and magazines. When called to the back, all the rooms and equipment looked clean and new. Discovered that the office was fairly new. My room came equipped with tv on the ceiling. There was a note on the counter about guest comfort. Options for tv, heated chair, laughing gas, music, etc. My hygienist was professional, courteous and kind. She explained everything she was doing very well. After the cleaning, the MD came in to review everything and she was nice too. Upon leaving I received new client gift bag. read more
