There were times the entire back of my house was open to the elements for weeks at a time without plywood or any protectant because they ran out of money. I have had to pay their contractors out of my own pocket to protect my home even after giving them extra payments above and beyond the agreed upon 50% down. I was promised that if I gave them $10,000 that they would seal my home up and be able to get that protected. I ended up paying for it again myself. They don't pay their workers on time. And this barely scratches the surface. Stay away! They are crooks trying to take your money to finish mine. Just like they took mine to finish another persons before They recently told me they weren't going to finish the project. Their names are Kevin Donald Johnson and Peter Hagen. I am currently building my case against them (finishing the work they didn't complete) to take them to court. Be diligent about who you hire.

The sub put a lien on my house to force payment and now I'm left with no one to sue. They indicated they don't use subcontractors and then staffed my projects with only subs. Half the work was shoddy and is already deteriorating. Chipped tiles, terrible grout work, and slow work. First bathroom took 6 months. When these guys open their next scam company, be on the lookout for the names Peter Hagen and Kevin (KC) Johnson. They will take your money and run.

This was on a "30 day net" (as per WRITTEN CONTRACT). Then had the audacity to doc me 630.00 to pay for drywall repairs (to a property were I had to cut drywall to gain access so I could run a cable to RESTORE POWER TO THREE ROOMS). Repairing drywall wasn't in contract. I told Jeff Hoehn he would have to take care of drywall. I sent "before" and after "pics" of this project and project was marked and accepted as "complete" on Atrium (online invoicing, contracts.etc.). 150.00 of that 630.00 was a "late fee" because the project didn't get finished in time. This was because they had to have someone to repair drywall. This wasn't anything about repairing drywall in the contract. Why cant they pay me a late fee for taking (literally) 90 days to pay me on a 30 day net?!! They took over 90 days to pay me on a 30 day net and they have the audacity to charge me a "late fee"?!!!! I tried to explain to Jeff Hoehn an Jen Fore that in order to restore power to three bedrooms I had to run a new cable. In order to run a new cable, (because no two things can occupy the same place at the same time-basic physics) that I would have to cut drywall (unless, of course, Jenn and Jeff wanted the cable installed on the outside of the wall). Some people are just (in my opinion) STUPID. It is my understanding that docking someone's pay is against federal labor laws. It is also my understanding that using money that has been docked(stolen) to finance other things is called "diversion of funds". I was also sent (along with my last check) a Letter stating (something to the nature of) by cashing this (final) check I was acknowledging that I paid in full. These (in my opinion) idiots don't dictate what I do and don't acknowledge. I do (decide what I do and don't acknowledge). I have decide that (by cashing check) I did NOT acknowledge that I am paid in full. ripoffreport.com then search for homestar property solutions. You will be might be appalled at what you read. We live in a wooded area, and at some point a branch had damaged part of a 28 foot section of the gutters, bending the gutter and gutter guard which keeps debris out. I noticed this when clearing leaves and debris off the roof. I gave them a call, hoping that I could get by with just replacing this one section. One of their guys came out (forget the name), started inspecting flashing and other things and I started to dread the list of all the wrong things he was going to find. After a few minutes, he told me that everything else looks good, and that he could straighten the gutter, straighten the guard, and secure it better. He did this.. took maybe total of 20 minutes. When I asked what the cost was, he told me no charge. Cannot even tell that the gutter had been damaged. Can't get better service and care than that. Highly recommended
