He was very professional and explained the process in detail every step of the way. I spoke with a few customers that used him previously and they had nothing but praises about him. Mr. McDevitt kept in contact with the City Inspector to ensure everything passed inspection. The price quoted was presented to me and he honored that price. Anything outside of that quote was explained and presented to me before he began the job as the City Inspector found some discrepancies from the previous Contractor. He completed the job timely, actually sooner than I expected. Mr. McDevitt is honest, old school, and truly believes in customer service. He doesn't use a computer for his work and is very detailed. I am in the process of rehiring him to complete another home project for me. I highly recommend McDevitt Construction!!

Asked him to come back weeks later and again, he just never showed up. I asked for my money back and he ignored my message. All of this just to steal $120 bucks? Don't use this shady business and if I could give no stars I would. Just awful. Response to the owner's comment: You're a liar from the pits of hell. And I have the screenshots to prove it. You should be ashamed of yourself. 2nd response: I have a screenshot proving I paid you... nice try though. Now everyone gets to see how much of a liar you are and know not to trust you or your shady business. 3rd response: He now has me blocked so no messages can go through. I will be filing a police report for this theft. Lastly, how do you know I'm a "lady" if you've never heard my voice or spoke with me? My name is unisex. You just told on yourself.

He goes above and beyond to help his customers achieve their home remodeling dreams! We recently bought a home in Locust Fork and he did a lot of work for us (plumbing, shower repair, rerouting dryer exhaust vent, and much more). We could not be happier and more impressed with everything he's done for us. He also caught an improperly secured screw and improperly installed dryer outlet! See photos attached! He quite literally saved our lives and our home from a potential house fire. He came immediately after receiving my frantic message detailing what happened with the dryer and the outlet. Within minutes he identified the problem and had it fixed. He also figured out the mystery behind the water stains under the kitchen sink! The previous owners had cut a hole in the pipe and left it. Matt replaced the pipes and fixed that right up too! We are so blessed to have him in our lives; first as a handyman and now as a friend.

Blake was the guy that came in to help. And he was fantastic. It was like he was the puzzle piece for our specific job. Great at small paint jobs, great at sheetrock repair and fantastic at pressure washing. Exactly what we needed. I will recommend Birmingham Fast Repair to anyone moving forward.
