Dr. Joshua Rose looked at my teeth, and his assistants briefly mentioned the procedure might not be covered by insurance, so I thought it was necessary and agreed. The next day, when I checked with my insurance and another dentist, I was told only a normal cleaning (D1110) was needed since my teeth and gums are healthy. Despite this, Dr. Ganji's office used codes D4346 and ZD4382, and I had to pay $199 out of pocket. The cleaning took less than 30 minutes. At the end, a staff member asked me to leave reviews on Google and Yelp and even asked me to take out my phone, scan the QR codes, and write reviews while still at the office. This felt unprofessional. Because of the billing and how they handled things, I don't trust this office and will not go back.

I went back in this morning and every person I came in contact with was so kind! I've always been nervous at the dentist and self conscious about my teeth. Being an adult and trying to fix what you're you neglected is hard! The dental assistant was very gentle and sweet- she could tell I was in pain. The dentist was also very kind and patient. She explained what she saw and addressed what she recommended as priority. I met with billing and the gentleman was straight forward with my insurance coverage and my personal responsibility. I appreciated the honesty and him being transparent. I saw a different dentist last week based on a friend's recommendation and the visit felt like they didn't care and it was all about money. The dentist and dental assistant told me many times they were going to help me and they were going to make sure I wasn't in pain anymore. As a healthcare worker myself, I look for that empathic care when I am the patient and that was clear here. Dental work is not cheap, that's a given, but I did not feel like this was a money grab.
