Went in to have Epley procedure done for BPPV Vertigo…read more Treated by Dr. Mathur. She was very nice and polite. After talking for a while she said she would perform the treatment. The treatment was done on the wrong side, the table she used was not designed for this procedure and it seemed like she had never done it before. Required help from my spouse to position me because of the improper table. After that my Vertigo was worse. I went to a physical therapist 2 days later and had the procedure done on the correct side , correctly and felt better almost immediately.

He previously referred me to UCLA because he felt they might have different ideas on how to treat my nasal condition even though they are out of network because he wanted me to be exposed to other options and possible new treatment available at a teaching hospital. He's not like some other doctors who have a huge ego and insist they know better than anyone else. I did have the surgery done by UCLA, but requested to return to Dr. Eivaz for follow ups since I felt comfortable seeing him and didn't feel the staff at UCLA could provide aftercare that Eivaz wouldn't be able to take care of himself. Plus driving out to Westwood and paying to park at the university parking lot for the same quality of follow ups didn't make a whole lot of sense as far as I was concerned. If you're in need of a great ENT specialist, I highly recommend Dr. Eivaz to anyone in/near the South Bay Area.

Besides having excellent bedside manners and empathy, Dr Gertel really took the time to listen to my concerns and promptly prescribed an off-the counter medicament that fully resolved my problem. The lack of on-site testing capabilities at an ENT specialist seems highly inefficient, forcing me to schedule a second, separate appointment (and likely another co-pay) just to get the basic tests done. We had a particularly unique and difficult situation when our 35-year-old son with special needs had a traumatic fall and broke his nose in two places in October 2024. His nose was visibly smashed and his breathing was badly impacted. He ultimately needed a rhinoplasty and septoplasty. After an initial consultation with another ENT left him frightened and unwilling to consider surgery, we spent nearly a year searching for a surgeon with both exceptional skill and genuine compassion. Dr. Leslie Irvine lived up to our expectations in every way! Dr. Irvine put our son so much at ease that he requested the surgery himself. He went into the hospital in an amazingly optimistic frame of mind, even during pre-op. His recovery was easier than expected, though understandably uncomfortable until the stents were removed a week later. His surgery was in October 2025, but I waited four months to write this review so we could see the results after most of the swelling resolved. We are amazed with the results! His nose looks fantastic, his breathing is greatly improved and this procedure has helped him regain his confidence. We were so impressed with Dr. Irvine's skill that six weeks ago I underwent an in-office procedure with her called VivAer to improve my own breathing. It took only about 20 minutes, strengthened my nasal walls, reduced my turbinates, and required no downtime at all. My breathing is dramatically better, I'm sleeping more soundly and exercising feels easier. We feel extremely fortunate to have found Dr. Irvine and could not recommend her more highly. On my 2nd visit she referred me to an Eye Specialist and then she took care of my fractured nose by realigning it back to as close as she could.
