From the beginning, the staff was patient, kind, and respectful. Dr. Bereliani was professional and thorough, and he made the process smooth and comfortable for my mom. I would also like to give a special thank you to the office manager, Ruby, who truly went above and beyond. My mother needed an X-ray to complete the paperwork, and Ruby personally contacted the insurance company to help get it covered. That saved us a significant amount of money, and we are very grateful for her effort and care. We chose this office because of their reasonable pricing, and we are so glad we did. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for compassionate and professional care. Serge

His attention to detail, care, compassion, patience and determination to get to the root of the problem, are just some of the reasons why I'll never go to anyone else again. A friend of mine highly recommended Dr. V to me because I had a multitude of little issues that a doctor (who did my physical for my life insurance) told me I have. He said I had things like thyroid imbalance, Vitamin D deficiency, etc. With two young children, I started to worry that if I left it unchecked I could become really sick one day. I felt a responsibility to my children to get answers, so I called and made an appointment at Regenera Medical with Dr. V. My first appointment with Dr. V was more than an hour long. During that visit, I quickly spit out my medical history, because that was what I had become accustomed with other doctors - who would often cut me off and were almost always dismissive. Dr. V's super cool and calm manner helped me relax and for the first time I felt like I was really talking to a doctor who was actually listening and caring. I had never been to a doctor where I didn't feel rushed because he/she had to get to his next patient. I could see I had his undivided attention. Towards the end of the visit, he drew blood from me (himself!) and ordered a very thorough set of blood tests in order to find out what was really going on with me. I came back a few weeks later to get my results, only to learn that I didn't have ANY of the issues the other doctor told me I had. I was so relieved to know that I didn't have any significant medical conditions. I would have been happy to walk out of the appointment then, but Dr. V still took his time to walk me through some suggested practical lifestyle alterations to help me maintain my health and feel energetic throughout the day (not easy with two little kids). I read his website and learned that he can even tell you if you might get Alzheimer's, and can suggest ways to slow down the development of the disease, or avoid it altogether! I will now be going to him for my yearly check up, for sure!

After receiving serious cardiac MRI results at 35 years old, I understandably had questions and anxiety about what this could mean for my future. When I asked Dr. Charles Swerdlow whether my condition was serious, his response was sarcastic and insensitive: "Really bad, because that's what you want to hear, right? Well, at least it could be, or you could live a normal life." Instead of providing clarity, reassurance, or professionalism, the conversation left me feeling even more distressed and confused. I also found many of my questions were answered vaguely, often with reliance on AI-generated responses rather than clear medical guidance tailored to my situation. Unfortunately, the issues extended beyond the doctor himself. The office staff was extremely difficult to reach, unresponsive to calls and emails, and showed very little empathy for what patients may be going through. After trying repeatedly for an entire week to schedule a follow-up appointment regarding serious MRI findings, Dr. Swerdlow accused me of "abusing his staff" simply because I persistently followed up after receiving no response. Mind you, this was after he had already reviewed my MRI results and knew I was dealing with frightening and potentially serious news. Rather than showing compassion or urgency, I was treated like an inconvenience for trying to speak with my doctor. He then told me his assistant would call me to schedule my next appointment before abruptly hanging up on me. The assistant never called, which only reinforced the exact communication issues I had been trying to address in the first place. Compassion, professionalism, and communication matter -- especially in cardiology, where patients are often scared and vulnerable. My experience with this office left me feeling dismissed, anxious, and unsupported during a time when I needed medical guidance the most.
