What a wonderful experience. First let me say, I have recently visited several dentistry offices in order to hopefully find where I would go for my future dental needs. I believe I have finally found the one. Dr. Benson and his office staff were all very kind and respectful and answered all of my questions without hesitation. The staff returned my calls almost immediately and got me in for an appointment quickly. Dr. Benson will truly listen to all of your questions and take extra time making sure you feel comfortable and understand everything. His personality is also just amazing. He lights up the room when he walks in. If you're someone like me, who has felt anxiety about going to the dentist, having a provider who is a happy & caring dentist will change your whole experience. All of the fees and billing were made very clear from the beginning with no mysterious fees added afterward. In fact, I ended up paying less than originally quoted. The office itself was exceptionally clean and the waiting area was comfortable. The dentistry chair I was in had a lovely view and was rather relaxing. I loved that I was able to pick a movie to watch, which was the Santa clause. The joyous movie in addition to the considerate and relatively gentle approach Dr. Benson takes with his procedures left me with no discomfort at my visit. Overall, I HIGHLY recommend this office to anyone, but especially anyone who has feared going to the dentist in the past. Dr. Benson will change how you view going to the dentist, and he and his staff are undoubtedly some of the best in the area. Oh, and one last thing. My husband & I started going to Dr. Benson earlier this year. Every contact we have had with anyone in their office over several months has been wonderful. Dr. Benson was immediately available to fix an old crown that came off. We have also had such an easy time scheduling our cleanings & appointments. The entire staff has been wonderful! I have nothing but awesome things to say about this office!! KK is my hygienist and always does such a fantastic job...very skilled at what she does and very thorough. I only see her twice a year but when I do, it's like seeing an old friend! So personable and genuinely takes interest in her patients lives. I've had two other minor procedures there outside of cleanings (replacing old fillings and a few composites). His assistant, Cindy, helps me in that department. She is so great at what she does. So funny and sweet and takes any nerves you may have away. Love her and KK! And that brings us to Dr. Benson. He is a very conservative dentist and only does what he absolutely needs to do for the health of your teeth. You can guarantee what is being done will be done to the highest standard and with extreme care and caution. He's told me "minimal dentistry is the best dentistry". You can trust him and what he says. He's a true and genuine person. Plus...his sense of humor is so awesome. Makes me laugh every time I see him. You will walk out with your stomach hurting from laughing and not even think about your teeth! If you want to feel like you're visiting friends instead of going to the dentist, this is your place. Let me start by saying that I've put off going to a dentist FOR YEARS. I'm not in fear of dentistry...just the cost. I already knew I had a mouth full of likely expensive problems that I just wasn't willing to address. When I finally decided to make the investment I started looking around for dentists. Im actually a hair stylist and was referred to PGA Smiles by one of my clients. She said that both she and her husband have had major work done (not just your average cleaning) and love their dentist. I found out they take my insurance (bonus!) and made an appointment immediately. I was super embarassed walking in because I didn't know the extent of my damage. They made me feel super welcome and my hygienist KK assured me that my situation wasn't nearly as bad as I thought. She was warm and approachable and VERY gentle. I met Dr. Benson that day as well and he was great. Very positive and reassuring...we made a plan of action and a payment schedule and as of today, I'm already halfway through my treatments. I was given a blanket and shown a movie while getting a new crown and a few fillings on this visit. Most enjoyable...unbelievably. I've never felt so comfortable with a dentist. You won't find a more caring and capable dentist ANYWHERE! than Dr.Benson. He is gentle, caring and takes the time to make sure you are pain free and comfortable. Very disappointed. Fancy website includes a contact form. I submitted a detailed message at the end of September 2016 as a prospective new patient (family) and did not get a reply. Three weeks later, I repeated sending a message on the website and then left a detailed voicemail for a further followup of those two messages. Tanya returned my call and advised that although evening appointments are advertised on the website, there were no 5 p.m. (or any evening appointments open from October all the way through March! How ridiculous to advertise when 5-6 months in advance cannot secure a spot even for a cleaning. Tanya said she would try to rearrange the current schedule for a 5 pm appointment in January and would definitely get back in touch with me the following week to advise. It's now another 2-3 weeks and NO CALL; NO VOICEMAIL; NO EMAIL; NOTHING. Not cool. To NOT have even ONE spot reserved for a new patient or emergency in the advertised schedule, in what would be about 2 seasons, is just poor planning; let alone, not even a courtesy call back. The contact form should be taken off the website and the available appointment hours should not reflect evening times. Poor customer service. read more
