James did not try to add any last minute charges and what he quoted is what I paid. I inspected the work as he did it and I did not have any complaints. I couldn't be any happier with the work they did. These guys are very good at what they do and when it comes to redoing my entire house they will be getting my business. We initially hired a roofer who lied about license and ultimately did a complete botch job on our roof. We then hired Eddie to asses the damage which was really bad and he took the roof off, replaced it with a new one and did a beautiful job. Something so impressive to call out... Eddie left our property so beautiful... NO nails! He and his team go thru the property with a magnetic device and pick them up... SO impressive. Additionally, our home wasn't flooded with old cigarettes etc after they spent a few weeks there (sad that this needs to be called out, but it does). First I got a quote from Eddie and one other roofer and Eddie's price was the fairest and most professional of the two, so it was an easy decision to hire him. Eddie was booked for the next month or two, but he gave me an approximate start date, kept in touch with updates along the way and indeed they started my job pretty close to when he predicted, despite several weather delays he must have encountered on his other jobs. Eddie also pulled all necessary permits with the county. Eddie's crew is really top notch. Very friendly and hard working. They showed up on time each day. They first tore off my old roof and did a good job controlling and clearing the mess with a lot of tarps on the ground around my house. Then they replaced a few pieces of plywood on my roof that had warped over the years. One of the great things Eddie's crew also does is they replace or fix everything on your roof that needs it, including any vent pipes, flashing, drip edges and ridge vents, all of which were budgeted in his original estimate. They also seal all pipes, protrusions, and paint everything to match the roof. The final shingle installation was executed perfectly as well. Eddie Hobbs Roofing is licensed and bonded. He also includes a 5-year warranty on all workmanship. It's been 18 months since Eddie Hobbs Roofing has installed my roof and it's holding up really well without a single leak. We're glad he did, because working with this roofing company was a great experience!  Not living on the mountain and over 2+ hours away, Eric made process of replacing the roof very simple. From start of the project to the job being completed, Eric kept us informed of the entire process and sent photos every step of the way. When the old roof was removed and water damaged was discovered, Eric & his crew did a great job replacing the wood and the repair cost were reasonable. I received before and after photos of that, too. It was the next best thing to being there. When they installed the quality, waterproof underlayment with the 40 year new shingles, the roof looked fantastic!  I made the choice to drive up and pay the bill, but I couldn't help but stop by the house and see the new roof. First didn't see the details. And they are located one town over easy 20 min drive and in their yelp profile showed they service my area. Well if you miss the basic detail in the front end then probably wouldn't be detailed oriented to install windows. I can't speak to their work because I won't be a customer. Overall it was a poor initial experience even before I could even be a customer but they do have a choice that I can't be.
