Our repertoire was most classical waltzes and Puccini scores, mixed with some Mancini. Symphony Sounds pulled it all off, much to the delight of some more serious classical buffs in our audience. It was a true pleasure to work with Sarah. She even recorded my bridal march, Un Bel Di, during practice and sent it to me so I could get a sense of timing. All our communications were long distance, yet the music and ceremony were executed beautifully. I only wish I could have heard all of the pre and post music myself. My guests continue to rave about the music and how lovely it sounded.

Thus, there was never any consideration for giving a bad review. The question was whether to give the "perfect" score. Sometimes bad things occur beyond someone's control. They did the best they could do under the circumstances, including the owner offering more than I could conscientiously accept. They performed spectacularly, despite the owner probably believing she would be paid nothing for her performance and hard work. None of the audience ever even knew there was a problem. In mulling it over, that ability to actually turn lemons into lemonade shows more professionalism than simply doing so under the best conditions. The best parts were the quality of the performers, their choice of music, and the cheerfulness of the performance. Every one of our guests were throughly entranced by the music! I therefore enthusiastically recommend Symphony Sounds for your wedding or other event.

We cannot say enough amazing things about DJ Shane and Green Line Talent! From the beginning,…read morecommunication was fantastic, and they truly made us feel like we had a partner throughout the entire process. Shane was incredibly collaborative and really listened to what we wanted. He encouraged us to create Spotify playlists for inspiration and used them to curate music that felt completely reflective of us as a couple - from old-school '90s country to yacht rock during dinner. He even created a custom '80s and '90s family sitcom theme-song mashup for our family to enter the reception to, which had everyone laughing and was such a fun, personal touch. Once the dance floor opened, Shane's energy was unmatched. He was amazing on the mic, rapped, danced, interacted with our guests, and kept the dance floor going all night. He knew how to read the room while still making sure the night felt like us, and we received so many compliments about both the music and his energy. Ending the night with one of my all-time favorite '90s country songs, "Neon Moon," and then giving us an encore of "Sandstorm" at my drunken request truly made my heart so happy. Shane completely understood the assignment from beginning to end. We could not recommend DJ Shane and Green Line Talent more highly. He listened, collaborated, brought our ideas to life, and made our reception feel completely and uniquely us. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ!

He kept the party going, while still respecting our chill vibes. We had a few meetings beforehand, and if we needed more I'm sure he would have met. All of our questions would get answered promptly. I also found their pricing super comparable and fair to other local companies. They offer a lot which makes it easy to add on or take away what fits your needs. I would hire them again if I had another kind of event!

Davin Youngs Voice Coaching

I have been taking lessons with Davin for almost a year and a half. Davin is a talented and…read moreinspiring teacher who will help you grow and learn about who you are as a singer. He has a professional demeanor and a friendly ability to clearly communicate with each student on an individual level. He celebrates the strengths and achievements in your process, speaks to habits, and helps break down those walls that we so often put up (I know I do). After every lesson I step out feeling freer, happier, and more confident. There is a great difference in who I am now vocally and who I was when I walked into my first lesson with him over a year ago. Also...Missy is new to Davin Youngs Voice and she is fantastic as well! I have taken a lesson with her and she is personable and professional. She's also crazy-talented and understands why we do what we do and how to enhance our singing technique. She is a great addition!

I've been working with Davin for over a year. As an actor who has also attended an arts…read moreconservatory and has taken singing lessons over the years, he's one of the best vocal teachers I've worked with. Seeking to improve my talents as a vocalist, I've also taken group as well as private lessons at Old Town School of Music. I personally find private lessons to be of much more use than group lessons as it affords much more time to address the technical concerns(bad habits, posture, etc.) that are holding me back. A satisfying one on one dynamic with a private vocal coach can be much more difficult to find. I've had teachers where the lessons don't seem like they're building on anything; the "arc" of the lessons seems disconnected. As a private teacher, Davin is the best I've worked with. What I like about him is that he will keep on me about my bad habits and he's not afraid to be direct with his criticism(another peeve I have about some private coaches is that they are afraid to lose you as a client so they tend to sugarcoat things). Anyhoo, I heartily recommend him as a teacher. I joked with him once that as a starving artist, I have a budget: Rice, Beans and Singing Lessons. And it's true. Finding your voice as a singer is one of the most satisfying and amazing things you can do and with his help, I'm well on my way. Thanks, dude!
