Anytime you have an appointment, you can expect to wait at least an hour and a half to two and a half hours. When he complained to the staff, they say, he's always running late and that many patients complain to them but not to the doctor. I see other patients complaining as well for the long wait. We got to talking to other patients who were waiting and we discovered that everyone is double booked. One patient had the same appointment time as him and other patients waiting had the same appointment time with one other person. He has misread lab work and prescribed additional cholesterol medicine unnecessarily. I even asked him to make sure he was looking at the correct lab result and gave him the date. Upon checking his labwork when we got home, his cholesterol level had gone down to normal. He never took the medication that doctor prescribed. I emailed his assistant about it and they never responded. On his next appointment, we went over heart meds that were prescribed to him by a cardiologist when he was in the Philippines. The doctor asked him to bring the bottles of medicines on his next visit. On my next visit, he brought the meds and he and his nurse complained about it and he explained that it was at the request of Dr Marchand. Upon exiting, my boyfriend mentioned the 2.5 hour wait and Dr Marchand happen to hear him and accused him of being the reason for being late to appointments. He said, "It's because of patients like you who waste my time by bringing bottles of meds." He never reads the patients history before he sees the patient. He reads it during our appointment. After my boyfriend had a pacemaker implant, he had a follow up with Dr Marchand. We waited almost 2 hrs to be seen. During this wait, there was a patient of Dr. Marchand's checking out, who clearly was frustrated as he was raising his voice. Shortly after that a man stood up to talk to someone at the front desk about the wait. As a result, he left. Another couple, with the man in a wheelchair, spoke to the front desk and came back to wait further. We got to talking about the long wait and discovered that they had the same appointment time as I did and 2 other patients had the same appointment time as well, a half an hr after ours. Her poor husband in the wheel chair was already in pain she said from being there for so long. We were finally seen and we had many questions. He was argumentative and impatient with us. So much so the he just got up and said we're done here. He and my boyfriend got into an argument and he literally wanted to get into a fist fight with my boyfriend. His exact words were, "Be a man, come on, let'g go!" We will never see this doctor again. I tried to report him to the Medical Board but they won't be doing anything about it.

They have a handful of other locations, all of them with similar wait times for appointments; being in Henderson, this was one of the closer locations to me. If you're a new patient, you'll want to arrive 30 minutes early to fill out the paperwork. It will maybe be confusing when you first arrive since Advanced Heart Care shares a building with Siena Cardiology. Just make sure you are going into Ste. 120 (2641 W. Horizon Ridge Pkwy). The waiting area is pretty nice with comfortable seating, magazines, and a TV. The receptionist was friendly and got me checked in really quickly. The wait was a tad long, but not by too much. I think I waited an extra 15-25 minutes to be brought back and to have the nurse do triage/vitals check and my EKG. Then we waited about 10-15 more minutes for the doctor in the patient room. It's a small room, so I had to be extra mindful of keeping my toddler contained to a small space while we waited, but he was fine. Dr. Ismail was a breath of fresh air and smart. He was able to look at my charts and details quickly and easily and point out what other practitioners have been missing and what I've been suspecting for years... and I didn't even have to advocate for myself at all or feel like I had to explain anything. He was just so knowledgeable and knew exactly what would be the best next steps for my treatment, and he also explained everything to me without wasting my time. I finally feel like I'm getting the help I need after years of practitioners/doctors forcing the same ineffective treatment over and over again that has proved to fail time and time again. The medical profession needs more knowledgeable practitioners like Dr. Ismail! Be aware that he may come off to some people as a bit curt and straight to the point, however he is not rude. He doesn't waste time during the appointment and is focused on diagnosis, explanation, and next steps without the fluff, and I prefer that over time-wasting "care" that goes nowhere.

I was scheduled for a 6 month check up today so I had to leave work quickly to make a 3:30 PM appointment. I was not aware that the office had moved or that the provider I was scheduled with today was not here. Luckily the office only moved to another end of this parking lot or I would have missed my appointment for sure. I was not notified of the move but I was texted a reminder for the appointment. I purposefully made this appointment before school started so since school starts next week it might be tricky to get out early to get here again. We shall see. When I arrived at the other location and walked up I realized it was an eye doctor's office now so I called them. The recording said the new address and I drove around and found the office. I called the office to let them know I was almost there. The receptionist let me know that my provider had to leave and so he was not there. I would need to reschedule. I told her I was almost there and I would come in to figure this out. When I walked in I was very impressed. I really like the spacious lobby and the gorgeous crystal sconce in the center of the room. The counter top is beautiful and most importantly, Bianca is very sweet and she rescheduled me for another appointment quickly for next week. I have always loved this office and I have never had an issue. This is the first time this has happened. These are the only reason I give my visit a 4/5. Now and again we need a heart check up so that blockages don't happen. On a recent heart scan my primary doctor found an artifact. I have used other locations with this practice, but this time around I'm a new patient. It's not just the heart valve that needs a check it's the blood flow between the veins as it returns back to the heart. It's truly intriguing how life tends to go in an individuals favor. Let me explain. As a patient this time around, my complaint is with veins and perhaps a blockage somewhere. The doctor that I was referred to is a vein specialist. Go figure on those odds. They are going to run lots of tests to determine what the issue is. My chief complaint is pain in the lower limbs which co insides with blood flow through the body and it not producing enough oxygen to get it where it needs to be. Failure is not an option. The specialists here specifically focus on the heart and vein system return. You are in great hands putting your trust in their hands. I was referred to one doctor, yet I received bills from 4 doctors. I was quoted a price and billed quadruple the price. I was told after all this that everything is fine, yet I'm not sure I believe it as they seem to only be interested in the bottom line. I was referred to Nevada Heart & Vascular by my regular doctor. I received a quote for services that were under $350, which I agreed to because I had the funds in my FSA to cover the costs. Apparently their quote didn't include much of anything as the final bill was over $1,900. Despite the shocking bill, which I received in December of 2024 for services rendered in November, I promptly paid it. I was shocked when I received an additional bill in April 2025, saying I owed more money and I had 7 days to pay or they would send me to collections. I followed up with their billing department and my insurance and my understanding is that they resubmitted for more money 4 months after my visit AND after everything had already been paid in full. Apparently, this practice didn't make enough in 2024 and decided to go back and re-bill patients 4 months later in an attempt to get more money. How this is NOT fraud, I don't understand. I would stay away from Nevada Heart & Vascular. Repeated attempts to get anyone to return a phone call from his office have not been successful.
