I was at green valley dental the other day picking up my X-rays and the place was EMPTY. It's a shame, I know they used to be so busy they'd be closed every Friday, maybe they can afford to lose customers and get rid of some staff? Whoever is their business manager is not great, poor choice!

He filled half of it so that my one tooth looks like two separate teeth because of the color he used and ever since then he has had it out for me requesting extra x-rays when I never felt comfortable and telling me he couldn't work on my teeth unless he did more x-rays even though they weren't due for 3 to 5 years and it wasn't at that point yet... I finally requested to see the female dentist that my husband sees there and AJ said that he could not allow me to go to her because I started with him... About a year later I requested again to see Lisa because I felt more comfortable with a female dentist since I had a female dentist, my whole life growing up but in reality it was because I never felt comfortable with AJ and I know that he wasn't happy that I wasn't happy about the first time. I saw him when he gave me two different colored on one Tooth ... So I just kindly requested the female dentist Lisa again, and he told me to look elsewhere to get my dental work done. To say that I am disgusted is an understatement. This place is disgusting, rude, inconsiderate, pushy, and my tooth and gums hurt for days after getting it filled every single time! i've also been incorrectly, build numerous times, and has been hours on the phone with my insurance company, which I just looked past because as a busy mom of two young children it was the most convenient place for me to go to, and it's a big hassle to get all of your records sent to another dentist but this is probably for the best. I just want to save the next person from dealing with what I just dealt with.

Jenna arrived late, rushed through my chart, ignored my history, and was rude and dismissive from the start. She forced multiple X-rays with no explanation, creating an unsafe and uncomfortable environment. Dr. Angela Walters-Hagen was equally cold, sarcastic, and condescending, even laughing when I said I wanted to leave. Furthermore, they lied to the office manager about their actions. No patient should ever be dismissed, humiliated, or disrespected for advocating for themselves or their medical history. A positive takeaway is the administrative team--Joy at the front desk and office manager, Keisha -- who went above and beyond to apologize and treat me with genuine kindness and respect, which the medical staff lacked. In contrast, Jenna and Angela's conduct was not only unprofessional but careless, insensitive, and unethical.

When Dale's son Jeff joined the practice, I continued with Grove but Jeff sold the practice & the current owner/mgmt co, Premier Care Dental, a NY mgmt co. has instituted a menu of Pricing that is twice to 4 times the cost of Berks County Dentists. ( I did my own mkt survey for implant cost on 5 local top 10 Berks county dentists) & Found a $2,000 to $4,000 higher cost for an implant. Premier states on their web site mission statement 'affordable', however that's NY & NJ high end pricing & not secondary markets. I explained this to the Asst. Mgr at Grove & the result of her inquiry was 'NY was not adjusting their menu of pricing for Berks County'. I was not going to pay double for an implant when locally I could get the same service for substantially less. In addition Grove now charges for work performed that day before any insurance coverage is researched. ( an estimate is calculated however mine was $1000 under estimated) so I paid the higher amount. Also, Grove now charges a 3% credit card fee, for medical work with their 'double cost fees. The work performed by Dr. Weber was excellent, however, he had little discretion on the fees directed by NY Head Office. I have found a local dentist to complete my implant at almost Half the Cost quoted by Grove Dental so I'm NOT continuing with Grove Dental after 40+ years there. Dale & Jeff would be Mortified that the 'successful business' they nurtured for years has become 'Corporate Larceny' in Berks County. My Money will Stay Local where we 'as customers' are treated Fairly.

This was our second visit to this office...what a difference (and not in a good way!). Upon our…read morearrival, I was asked to sign the usual forms, update insurance, etc. The hygienist arrived and took my 6 year old back to for her routine dental visit. I was told that I was not allowed in "the big kids section" and would have to wait in the waiting room. While I was waiting, "Tiffany" started saying "Mom" and trying to get my attention to sign yet another form that they "forgot." I find it rather annoying and disrespectful to be addressed as Mom by anyone other than my child. When the cleaning/exam was complete, the hygienist brought me back to the consultation room to speak with the dentist about the visit. During the consult, the dentist indicated that my daughter had permanent teeth coming in; however it did not appear that she would lose any baby teeth any time soon. I replied 'ok', which was apparently not good enough a reaction, so the dentist addressed my 6 year old and said "even though Mom is not excited, we are." Again, I found this very disrespectful. On the ride home my child informed me that the dentist/hygenist asked her if she was the smallest child in her class and if she got enough sleep last night. None of this was addreesed with me during the consult. This was an inappropriate line of questioning. My 6 year old said it made her feel uncomfortable.
