David helped us purchase a South Bay single-family home on our FIRST offer attempt and sell our previous townhome quickly in a cooling market. He is easygoing, super responsive, and does not pressure clients to make hasty decisions. David's comps for the neighborhood were spot on and he nailed the eventual sale price within $10k for the home we bought. He also took time to build a relationship with the seller's agent that was crucial for beating out offers in a similar range to ours. Finally David worked closely with our loan officer to help us navigate the lending and closing process with ease. When selling our previous home David's comps were spot on again and he helped us submit a reasonable counter to the original offer that was accepted by the buyers well above asking. He has great staging and contractor contacts and was present at all of the open houses. I'm so happy that we met David and I cannot recommend David and team highly enough to South Bay homebuyers and sellers. read more

We have worked with David thrice now; to buy our first and second homes and to sell our first home. On the buying side, David helped coordinate everything with the seller's agent. He is quite knowledgeable about the area and market conditions, which helped us with coming up with a good offer price. Once the offer was accepted, he worked with escrow and our loan agent to keep everything on track to close ahead of time. As first time sellers, we were quite unaware of the details of what goes into selling a home. David walked us through the entire process and helped us get a good sense of what to expect during the selling process. His analysis and intuitive sense of the market helped us zero in on a good listing price. He advised us on how to get our home ready for the open house and hired excellent designers to stage it. Once we accepted an offer, he coordinated with the buyers to make sure they closed on time. David is very responsive and kept us informed at each stage. He also has a great network, which helps him get a good sense of the market. And he works really well with all the parties involved: other agents, loan officers, escrow etc. We would definitely recommend David! read more

David helped me and my wife with our first home. He was extremely helpful in helping us find the right home for our multigenerational family. David and Thomas both were very patient, understanding our needs and requirements and were in close communication, offering helpful advice during our house buying journey. Your always nervous when buying your first house, but David was always by our side at every step of the process, explaining things and looking out for us. Even after we secured the house, David has been in touch making sure we settle in and are satisfied with our purchase. He goes above and beyond and his presence was in. He has connected us to very experienced contractors for our future projects and we feel like we are in good hands now, and for future projects. He is our friend in the real estate business. We are extremely glad we worked with David and will be knocking on his door when we decide to move onto our next property. Thanks David. read more

This is the third time that we are working with David Long to help us move house, and he continues to exceed our expectations. He recently helped us buy a house in the Almaden Valley neighborhood of San Jose, and sell our house in Willow Glen, at above the asking price. He kept us informed throughout the whole process, from the purchase of the new house to the sale of our current home. He was always available to answer our questions, provide updates, and ease any concerns we had. His professionalism and attention to detail are why we keep coming back to him. He had a keen sense of market trends and knew exactly how to position our home for a quick and successful sale. David's negotiating expertise helped us as we received multiple offers on our Willow Glen house. The staging was impeccable, showcasing the best features of the property and attracting plenty of interest. If you're looking for a real estate agent who is knowledgeable, skilled at negotiating, and genuinely cares about his clients, you should get in touch with David! read more

David and Jerome helped us through the entire home buying and selling process. They're professional and very responsive. We met David at a neighbor's open house. From the minute we met we could tell he's very experienced and strategic. They have a small but mighty team that helped us from cleaning to staging. In fact we're still using a couple of their vendors for our new home projects. Highly recommend this firm for both selling and buying homes! read more

David is an extremely well rounded expert. 4 years apart, he helped us in buying and selling of our house in the bay area. David is also a great communicator, and all the processes at each step went smoothly as David has described. We got the best offers at both times all thanks to David, two strikes XX. If you are looking for an expert guidance, David is the person in buying or selling. David is also well connected to a body of experts, which can help easing a lot of pain in many other things involved in buying or selling a house (i.e. repairs, decoration). Beyond all this, I honestly think that David is a great human being, we as entire "Akşit" family are grateful and thankful for his support and guidance! read more

David is one of the most seasoned and knowledgeable realtors I have ever worked with. I got to confess that I was extremely nervous about the whole process but David explained everything to such detail that convinced me that he was the one. He walked us through the whole process and in many cases he prepared us for the next step beforehand so there were no unexpected surprises in the process. His honesty and professionalism are uncanny and, in my case, put me at ease and made the process something I ended up enjoying a lot. Have in mind that this happened during the COVID-19 adding an extra level of complexity. Regardless David was extremely organized and professional. Took all precautions required by law and more. The whole process from first meeting to closing deal took around a month and he did a great job with the negotiations and contingencies. He also has an army of experts that will help you go through this journey, from the credit broker to the contractors that are remodeling our new home. All of them are extremely professional and hardworking and the quality of their work was better than expected. I totally recommend him and I would love to make business with him again. read more

As first-time homebuyers, we had no idea where to begin and were overwhelmed by the options available. We are very grateful to have met David when we were visiting open houses. We ended up following his all advices/experiences and were not disappointed, whether it was during our search, the bidding process or even with loan/lender recommendation. He is also great with mathematics and finance so give us a lot of chance to plan our budget/offer and all closing cost details....Beside that he is a great listener and action oriented agent that you cannot find easily. We're really happy that we managed to get our dream house with David's help and continues support. We would definitely recommend his to anyone who is in the bay area market for a home. read more

David and Thomas were amazing to work with. This was our first home buying experience and they helped us navigate through it smoothly. We put an offer on our house right before COVID-19 shelter in place started and David helped us sort out the home buying process smoothly during these unusual circumstances. We were very happy with the overall experience and found a home that is a perfect fit for us at a good price. David & Thomas had our best interest in mind and prevented us from making rash decisions. We made a few offers on homes and lost the bids. At that point, we were almost willing to just give up and buy a house that fit just some of our requirements or over bid on the price. David helped us think through pros and cons of each home we were considering and encouraged us to wait for the right home to pop up. We were able to purchase a house that we thought was out of our reach, and we are very happy with the purchase. I highly recommend David & Thomas. They are very responsive, patient and make complicated information digestible. David also connected us with contractors to help us fix a couple of things in the house. This made the moving process much easier. read more

We received referral for David when we were searching for homes from our friends and that was our best choice. We bought our first home and the experience was really amazing because of all the detailed and immediate guidance we received. David is in real estate industry long enough to make correct judgements and predictions. He was very proactive for matching our expectations about our dream home. He will make sure to put down his best efforts to tour the home as many times as you wish. He will note down everything about the home to make sure we are not missing anything and will be completely transparent about pros and cons about the home. We did not know anything about home buying process when we started the search, but when working with David we knew we were in good hands. We understood each and every process in detail. Thank you David for making us believe we can buy this home and also for making it really happen. We definitely recommend him. read more

David Long - Sereno Group - Our first home with David Long - Real Estate Agents Near Me - Los Gatos, California

We went through over 6 realtors over the course of a couple years before we found David and he helped us find and purchase our 1st home within a month. His dedication and knowledge of the whole process of purchasing a home was amazing. He helped refer us with Denise at Vanmar Lending and they worked day and night to get us to close on time and to have a smooth buying process. They were both very knowledgeable with the VA home loan process as well. We will definitely be using David again and will refer him to all home buyers and sellers. read more

David and Mary made a great team for the sale of our San Jose condominium! They were very helpful at every step of the process, from staging, pricing, offers and selling. David is very knowledgeable about local market trends, and provided us with a number of strategies and comps to help us with a pricing strategy. When it came to reviewing offers, David's guidance helped us to breeze through escrow without a hitch! We were able to sell above our asking price, while two similar properties had to reduce their asking prices to attract offers. read more

David Long is an excellent realtor. He is personable, dependable, and responsive. Over the last 5 years, he helped us both buy and sell our Sunnyvale home. When we bought, he showed us houses privately mid-week and helped us write several offers in a highly competitive market. In our last week of shopping we found two similar homes for sale and made an offer for the less expensive (and less nice) house, thinking we had a better chance at it. When we were outbid, David immediately reached out to the other house's realtor to find out they didn't get any offers. He then wrote us up a mid-week offer (before the house would be shown again) and we got a beautiful house for asking price, significantly less than similar (but not as nice) houses had been recently selling for. Throughout the time we lived in our house, David continued to provide us with homeownership advice (e.g. referrals for workers) and even dropped by with friendly seasonal cards (and chocolates) from time to time. We expected to stay for much longer but ended up deciding to move to the east coast during the pandemic. David again worked with us, walked us through the process, gave us advice and helped us make a few arrangements and repairs before we moved, but coordinated and oversaw the lion's share of the work (repainting, landscaping, staging, photos, showing, etc) while we were thousands of miles away. We trusted him to handle all of the details without us being present and he did not disappoint. Given market conditions, we weren't surprised to go under contract in less than a week, but we were floored by how much his work paid off: the best offers were not only significantly over our asking price, but indeed much higher than we ever imagined we could possibly get. Overall, David is a valuable ally to have on your side when buying or selling a house. read more

As first-time homebuyers, we were a bit overwhelmed by all the various elements of home buying. From our very first meeting, David and Thomas put us at ease. They spent several hours pouring through every minute detail of the home buying process, our finances, our realistic options, and the market. Not only did they make us feel comfortable about the process, they were able to demonstrate a level of transparency that allowed us to trust them right off the bat. Truth be told, the home shopping process in this market was not easy and at times, was just plain depressing. However, David and Thomas continued to maintain a positive outlook and were able to talk us off the ledge on numerous occasions when we wanted to give up. When the time came to actually submit our offers, they were excellent. They were able to put together a package quickly, recommended competitive yet reasonable offer price points, and seemed to consistently maintain great relations with the seller's agent. They were also completely synchronized with our lender to ensure that our best package was put forward. We always felt like we were competitive when offers were made and were confident that they were advocating hard on our behalf. When we finally got our offer accepted, we ran into a few unexpected hurdles. David and Thomas were quick to put their heads together (with our lender) and come up with a plan to address each issue. Ultimately, with their help (and unwavering positivity), we were able to overcome each obstacle and get our house! We've been over the moon with our new place and we definitely could not have done it without David or Thomas. They work incredibly well as a team and will undoubtedly help you navigate these ridiculous waters. We were really impressed with David and his team, and would definitely use him again in the future! read more

David is the best! We met David in one of the open houses in San Jose. He has immense knowledge about bay area real estate and very patient in answering all the questions and concerns we had as first time home buyers. His advice was extremely helpful in strengthening our bid and we were handheld through the entire process in a pleasing way. I would highly recommend David to anyone looking to buy a home! David was so wonderful to work with in the selling of our home in Willow Glen. He is very knowledgeable about the market and knew exactly what strategy we should take in pricing the home and when to take offers. He helped introduce me to a wonderful woman who helped stage my house with our existing furniture so it looked very clean and professionally done. He walked me through all of the steps of the process and sold our house in less than a week! We had one weekend of open houses, received multiple offers the following week, and accepted an amazing offer almost $200k over asking! David also continued to work with me after the sale while we were renting back the house and helped with communication between us and the buyers. David helped us buy the house 9 years ago so we knew we were in good hands for him to sell the home as well. Couldn't have asked for a better outcome and so thankful he was there to represent us the whole way! read more

We are really pleased to have worked with David for our first home purchase in the Bay Area. I met David when I reached out to him about disclosures for a house he was listing for sale. He subscribed me to his email list that sends listing, which of course, is a standard practice. What differentiates David from other agents that I have worked with is his responsiveness and initiative. He takes great care to understand what you like, adds significant value to any discussion about neighborhoods, financing and negotiating strategies. David is laid back, patient and pleasant to work with . We are very picky and persnickety buyers and through it all he listened to our misgivings and concerns and supported our decisions. I highly recommend David as a buyer's agent. We hope to use his services the next time we are in the market which hopefully won't be too soon ! read more

We met David at an open house he was holding for one of his clients. David took the time to find out requirements for our ideal home and our desired location. He also made sure to respond in a timely manner and maintained consistent follow-up with all parties (us, escrow agents, property managers, loan officers, other realtor, et al.). When we finally found a home that we were interested in purchasing, he was quick to submit our application, and gave helpful guidance on how much to bid. To our delight, his recommendation was "right on the money" and the seller ended up choosing our offer! After escrow was completed, David continued to follow up with us and see how we were doing. David Long = The Bullet. Swift, precise, strong, efficient and gets the job done! The Bullet. B = Bold U = Unstoppable L = Loveable L = Lively E = Energetic T = Trendy We endearingly nicknamed David "The Bullet" because when we found a home we loved, David made sure we were the first ones to put in an offer and throughout the entire process, he shot us nonstop emails, text messages, emoticons, phone calls, voice messages and conference calls all at the same time to ensure we were on top of things and everything was moving along smoothly. He was shooting bullets all day, every day! David works hard to make sure that when you make an offer on a house you love, YOU'LL CLOSE on it. We closed on the first home we made an offer on with David. We strongly believe that David played a strong role in us closing on THE HOME, in this crazy seller's market in the Bay Area! We didn't meet David through anyone we know. We actually met David randomly at the very first open house we stumbled across. We were completely new at the whole home-buying thing, and David was so warm, welcoming, knowledgeable and answered all our questions in a way that we understood. We liked him immediately and felt comfortable with him. The next week, he invited us to his office and ran us through the home-buying process so we would know what to expect. During this meeting he discussed the many aspects of the house buying process which included ensuring you make an offer that is fair value (looking at comps), the offer itself, and the entire process to then close on the house. We walked away feeling a lot more comfortable about buying a house after this meeting with David! We then found the home that we absolutely loved and wanted to put in an offer. Naturally we called David and he started shooting those bullets! We put in the offer and closed in 21 days! All because David was on top of his game and ensuring everyone met their deadlines! We highly recommend David to help purchase your new home! read more

David and Thomas were fantastic to work with during the sale of our beloved home next to the booming Downtown San Jose district and the purchase of our next home in Los Gatos. During one of the most challenging and demanding negations I've personally experienced they were able to work with us and guide us through the very difficult process of selling and buying with multiple contingencies. The process entailed working for nearly 8 weeks straight through vacations and demanding work schedules, caring for our one-year old, calling multiple vendors to assist in getting estimates and working through a number of other challenging and demanding factors. David is as amazing as one could get! We were unhappy with our previous realtor and looking for a change but hesitant at the same time as we did not want to spend another month or two with another bad realtor. We met David at an open house he was holding for one of his clients. We started to talk and David took the time to find out requirements for our ideal home and our desired location. Almost as soon as we met him, we started getting leads for homes matching our requirements. Throughout the whole process, David patiently explained each step, what our options were, and answered the myriad questions that we had as first-time homebuyers. He also made sure to respond in a timely manner and maintained consistent follow-up with all parties (us, escrow agents, property managers, loan officers, other realtor, et al.). David helped us find a very good home off the market which was about to go into open house in a week. We moved quickly, visited the house and made a competitive bid. He constantly kept us informed on the status by keeping in touch with the seller agent. He was quick to submit our application, and gave helpful guidance all along. To our delight, his recommendation was "right on the money" and the seller ended up choosing our offer instead of going to an open house! Believe it or not, this was our first real bid offer with David (we bid one before this but it was much below the recommended price so I would not hold this against him). After escrow was completed, David continued to follow up with us and see how we were doing. We needed some personalization and David got us in touch with handymen, painters, etc. which worked out really well.
