He is a great communicator, addressed every one of my questions without ever rushing, and has a great rapport with his staff. It was also telling when he met with me in pre-op prior to surgery: some surgeons meeting with other patients were either unfriendly or argumentative with the hospital staff, but when Dr. Guan entered, he was treated like a rockstar. Choosing a spine surgeon was one of the biggest decisions I've ever made, and I am so grateful I found Dr. Saadat. From the very beginning, he was responsive, patient, and willing to answer every question I had. He never made me feel rushed and always took my concerns seriously. Throughout the entire process, he has been receptive, compassionate, and genuinely invested in my recovery. I am currently six weeks post-op from my L4-S1 fusion, and so far I am very pleased with my progress. Recovery has certainly had its ups and downs, but my original nerve pain has significantly improved, and I feel optimistic about the future. Whenever concerns have come up, Dr. Saadat has been quick to respond and provide guidance, which has given me tremendous peace of mind. He is highly skilled, knowledgeable, and takes the time to make sure his patients feel heard and cared for. While I know I still have a long road of healing ahead of me, it truly feels like he addressed the underlying problem that had been affecting my quality of life for years. If you are looking for a spine surgeon who is talented, responsive, and genuinely cares about his patients, I would highly recommend Dr. Saadat. Kim G.

I was already scheduled to meet Dr Saadat for neck issues. During our meeting I mentioned the spinal fusion and all the issues I was having. He was genuinely interested in what I was saying, asked a ton of questions, ran some tests, MRIs. After discussion, I opted for surgery. I was blown away with how amazing he and his staff were. He called me the night before surgery to answer any questions; his staff gave me instructions to follow night before surgery. After surgery, I received a 10 pg printout for post care, meds prescribed (and ready at next door pharmacy). Dr Saadat listens intently, warmly cares for his patients, and his bedside manner is unrivaled! Plus, he's an excellent surgeon! I highly recommend Dr Saadat! I'm lucky I found him!

I normally get it for my menorrhagia which affects me physically & mentally. I have anxiety & depression so when it comes monthly it's even worse for me. Dr. Martin T Sechrist literally tells me to get on birth control to control it, I tell him it doesn't help. I've done pills, patches & the nuva ring. I've had this problem since I was 13! I know it doesn't help! I don't even want to get on birth control. HE WOULDN'T ACCEPT NO, Instead he continues to say I haven't tried the right one. I've never felt so pressured in my life by any doctor to do something I don't want to do, I tell him he's making me emotional. I start feeling stressed, frustrated, ignored, literally everything! I begin to cry because he's not listening to me & continues to pressure me into seeing my obgyn to try all sorts of birth controls because apparently I haven't had the right one. Why isn't he listening to me!?! He then tells me he can't help me since I don't want birth control! He walks out with my paperwork. A girl comes in a bit after & gives me a follow up appointment.....for what!? I tell her he has my paperwork, I want my paperwork back. He comes back in, gives me my paperwork & says he didn't mean to make me emotional. If you didn't, then you wouldn't have been repeating over & over I need birth control. Instead you ignore your patient! I begin walking out saying that's a lie, you're trying to force me to go on birth control when I keep saying I don't want it. As I'm walking out saying he's a liar, HE LAUGHS!!! YUP HE LAUGHS!!! AS IF EVERYTHING THAT JUST HAPPENED WAS A DAMN JOKE TO HIM! I know for sure next few days this is going to be bothering me, I've been crying in my car since I left! I don't feel safe going back here for myself or for my child!

They gave me paperwork to go have my bloodwork done at Unilab, which is now Quest. There's a large group of interns at this practice that work under Dr. Seachrist and Dr. Schneider. The intern that gave me my paperwork apparently coded the bloodwork to be done with the wrong codes. It was billed as routine. Medicare denied the claim as did my secondary insurance. Early February 2024 I received a bill for close to $500 from the lab for my bloodwork. I called the Quest billing department, they stated that it was coded wrong and that was the reason Medicare denied my claim. The lab billing department gave me 45 days to clear it up with the doctors office. I took my paperwork (medicare billing summary and a copy of the lab bill) in to the doctors office had the front office staff person make copies, told them what the issue was, and asked them if they would help to take care of/resubmit with proper codes, etc. I left my phone number and all my information. This was the end of February 2024. I have heard nothing.. so I called two weeks later. No one was available to take my call and my wait time was going to be 79 minutes. I left another message. No return call. I decided to write a letter, directly to Dr. Sechrist...maybe that would get better attention and get the ball rolling in the right direction. No response, no phone call, nothing. I don't have that kind of money. I've never had my bloodwork denied by my insurance before. I never received my results from the doctors office. They told me if I heard from them there was an issue, and if I didn't hear anything that was good news. This is not a good way to run a medical practice. I do not recommend this medical group.
