They gave good advice on proper brushing and frequent flossing. To schedule for the next appointment is easy. The dental staff are friendly and fast in finding a schedule convenient for me. Dra. Kakos was amazingly caring! When I had a dental impression, she heard me gag from afar. She went to see and helped me relax. Seconds later, the ordeal was over. That was the office that had dried up throw up on the waiting room chair and totally inappropriate daytime TV blaring in the waiting room. I could go on and on but that's what Yelp's for! This dentist had a clean waiting room, no television I had to worry about my children seeing, up to date magazines. Nice staff. They acknowledged me, paid attention, were friendly and professional. The office has easy parking and a nice Royal Oak location. The dentist himself is all busines. I sat in on the exam, as my daughter is traumatized by another dentist who never checked that she was numb before pulling 5 teeth unnecessarily. Instead of talking to me so much, the dentist spoke straight to my scared stiff daughter and explained all his numbing steps and what she will feel. He defined to her the difference of pain and feeling the tooth come out. As she waited, she was given the remote control to a TV so we could control what she watched. This helped chill her out. He pulled her tooth out PAINLESSLY. She was shocked. I felt horribly I didn't start with this guy in the first place. He was a referral from our orthodontist, Dr. Bruno. Some things are worth spending money on. And his price was fair anyway. I will be bringing my whole family there. I asked how long a dental cleaning in an average mouth should take. More than 10 minutes of course! So I'm eager to meet the hygeniest. They're as important as the dentist in my opinion. I love my white teeth and want to keep them pretty! I also appreciate that Dr. Eades keeps up on his education, as I do the same in my field. There is always new science and always more to learn and master. I appreciate as well when I asked him about my own TMJ issues that he admitted he isn't a TMJ specialist. It is always wonderful to be greeted by Michelle at the front desk. She's so kind and helpful. My hygienist is Becky and she is very thorough. She also gave me helpful strategies to improve cleaning my wisdom teeth. There are two dentists in this practice--Dr. Alpert and Dr. Scalisi. I see Dr. Scalisi and she is fantastic!! Very friendly. My mom sees Dr. Alpert and raves about him too. This office is very punctual and they provide friendly reminders about your upcoming appointment via email and phone. They go above and beyond to make this a pleasant experience. I feel valued. Parking is easy. It's a free standing building and they have their own lot. The people and service here make me happy to go to the dentist.

Melissa is also a wonderful dental hygienist, she eased my anxiety of teeth cleanings far better than any other person I've had at other offices. She treated me like family and was so gentle and knew how to make me feel comfortable! I have surfed through many dentists in my 34 years of life (often due to lack of bedside manner or being extremely money hungry) and I've finally found an office I know I will stay with for life.
