His support and guidance even go beyond closing, and not once did we ever feel like we were on our own. To use the phrase "he went above and beyond" barely does justice to the stellar professionalism, time, patience, strategic guidance, and dedication that David put into selling our elderly parents' house. My brother lives five hours from L.A. while I live on the East Coast. Finding an honest and trustworthy realtor was of upmost importance to us as we navigated selling the place they called home for 45 years, and we couldn't have dreamed up a better realtor than David Ivkovic. David guided us through the process every step of the way--he was always quick to respond to questions, readily available to meet in person, and wonderfully straight-forward and honest with every conversation. He worked with our entire family (we had a family chat group with David), and treated my parents as his own, with kindness and care. David not only offered excellent strategic advice on preparing the house for the sale, he also sourced painters and even oversaw the work himself--as my parents' health limited their ability to engage. He put together a fabulous package of videos and photos, and when my parents' new development wasn't ready for move-in when expected, David pivoted the listing timeline seamlessly. At the end of the day, David got my parents multiple offers, including the winning bid which was above asking price AND included an extra month for them to remain in the house rent-free after escrow. David single-handedly made this major life transition and challenging move for my parents a smooth and gentle experience while getting them the bottom line $$ results they wanted. We were all thrilled with the final sale. Whether you're looking to buy or sell--for yourself or a loved one--David is the realtor you want. He is trusted, reliable, and he delivers. read more

David is without a doubt, a 5 star realtor.  Not only is he incredibly savvy, agressive and experienced , but he's also kind, honest and personable, a rare combo. When there's a choice between multiple offers, realtors always want to work with David first. That speaks volumes.  When there's a choice between multiple homes,  David always puts his clients first. That speaks even larger volumes.  His level of work ethic, patience and dedication put him in the top 5% of any industry.  I would recommend him to anyone read more

David! David! David! possibly one of the greatest real estate agents of all time. If you want an extremely knowledgeable, friendly and detailed real estate agent that, picks up the phone when you call, answers your text and emails promptly, helps guide you through this crazy homebuying process from start to finish and has no judgment towards helping answer every ridiculous question you might have, and even makes time to drive out to far & forlorn viewings, that weren't even in your initial search, to support you, then David Ivkovic, is your guy. We had the best experience working alongside David through our first home buying journey in California. He connected us with some amazing properties and people to help us close on a beautiful home. We bought our house with David representing us. I can tell you that we were nervous and it was competitive. He was so helpful and professional throughout the process: patient with the houses we looked at, expert with his advice on what we should consider, and when we decided and executed he sprang into action and landed it for us. And then when the real work begins with inspections and agent-to-agent negotiations, financing etc etc etc he was like a sage and just got everything done so effectively and pleasantly. Agents can be shifty and unpleasant; David gives the industry a good name again. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anybody, and would certainly use no-one else for our next house. read more

David was outstanding. We found him by chance. From the first meeting, we knew this was the guy we wanted to work with. He sat down with us and we went over our goals for a home. We thought we knew where we wanted to buy a house, however, with his knowledge of the area, he helped us find a gem in a fantastic location for our family. The negotiation was smooth and he got us our house. After close, there were several difficult situations that came up. He helped us through it and was incredibly reliable, available and able. His caring demeanor paired with his experience and professionalism stood out from the others. Immediately, he had a plan of action and clear, well-communicated ideas for how to proceed. He gave us a prioritized list of things to do to get the house ready and he quickly got to work preparing the marketing materials, including photos and videos that showed the house beautifully. His selling strategies worked perfectly and we were able to sell (at an unexpectedly high price!) within a week! David Ivkovic. I love that name. When I hear that name I think about just how lucky I am that we found the house we now live in and everything David did to make it possible. I'm not superstitious but maybe there was some luck or synchronicity involved... Maybe 10%? The other 90% was pure David. But let's start from the beginning... 4 years ago I met Dave through a close friend of ours. He had just helped her (let's just call her "Karpy" for now) buy a condo in WEHO and she raved about her experience. When the time came for us to start looking, I called Dave and asked if he might show us a place we'd found on the MLS. What struck me immediately was his enthusiasm and willingness to drop everything to make it happen. "This is a guy that f'n loves the process" I thought to myself quietly as he drove us around LA for the next few weeks exploring the possibilities. In total we might have seen 10 houses (at the most) before we fell in love with our current house in Sherman Oaks. Did I make that sound easy? Well, yes and no. You see, being Canadians we had absolutely NO IDEA how to even begin the process of making an offer on a house in LA. On top of that, the house we found and fell in love with had about 15 other couples all furiously brainstorming with their agents about how they could write the most attractive offer - we literally saw them standing outside in little huddles at the open house. At the time it felt hopeless, but we had a secret weapon... That night things got serious (not that kind of serious.. although he is a handsome devil). David explained to us everything that he had learned about the seller, the sellers agent and the other offers. He explained what types of conditions we might want to remove and the implications in order to write the best offer. At each turn he cautioned us to evaluate the decisions we were making and provided all of the necessary information for us to do so. Then we settled on a price, wrote a letter to the seller (with David's coaching) and completed some paperwork. You already know how the story ends, but we're not there yet! Our initial offer wasn't accepted, but the seller liked our letter so much they asked us to counter. We offered our highest and best and then David did something amazing. He... (omitted). Sorry, he'll kill me if I tell you that part. What's important is that because of David our offer was accepted. But wait, there's more! We still had inspection, negotiation of repairs and negotiating the purchase of some furniture that was in the house before all was said and done. I won't bore you with the details but suffice to say that all of that stuff is uncharted waters if you are a first time LA home buyer. You need good counsel (like that of our good man David) to make the right moves. I love that name... David Ivkovic. It just kinda rolls off the tongue... Has kind of an interesting juxtaposition... You've got "David" which is familiar and friendly and then "Ivkovic" which sounds exotic and sophisticated. He's all that and more. Actually, here's how I'd sum the guy up: 1. Competent +1 +infinity 2. Fun 3. Strategic 4. Honest 5. Awesome In conclusion, if you are looking to buy in LA you're simply not going to find a better real estate agent. And watch out! There are a sh*t ton of lazy, crap agents here. Get yourself a "good real estate agent" and don't risk losing that special property you have your heart set on. Can you tell I love the guy? Call David. Or call me, give me your number and I'll have him call you. read more

My wife and I started looking for a new home with David Ivkovic remotely for the past 2 years. He sent many potential listings via email. Now that we have relocated to the LA area, we've been working with him directly. He has a wonderful easy-going personality and is a pleasure to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable and has a large pool of resources. We have had a few situations where a house looked good superficially but turned out to be hiding serious problems. David showed tremendous patience and helped us through these problems until we found the perfect house that was the right fit for us. We highly recommend using him. read more

Where to start?! David has all that you can hope for in a realtor. We used him in 2012 to purchase our current home. Beyond knowing the ins and outs of the process, David is an amazing negotiator, a resourceful & patient thought collaborator, and a super dependable agent! As just one example, we had all sorts of issues with the sewer line while in escrow, and he was early for all appointments/ fixes along with solid ideas for next steps. There are too many additional examples to mention. The day we buy or sell again, we will be working with David! Contact him now. You won't be disappointed. read more

David was my realtor in finding a condo which I recently closed on located in Sun Valley. I've purchased a few times before, and have to say David was the most on the ball and professional agent I've used. Many agents made critical mistakes, and David spotted and fixed all the holes in the them. New to L.A and USA, my closing was under taugh circumstances, and his positive and honest approach worked in our favor and now thanks to him I own property in L.A. ...I never thought I would see the day. I would recommend David Ivkovic to anyone in the LA area looking for a new home. Our experience with him as our agent was about as easy, enjoyable and stress-free as they come. He guided us through the process from beginning to end and was a great communicator throughout. He helped us set our goals, showed us the places that were right for us - and when it came time to make offers he was always there to counsel us strategically. I can't say enough wonderful things about David. He recently sold our home for us and was amazing from start to finish. He helped us choose the perfect asking price and we sold our home in one week with multiple offers for above asking price. He was professional, personable, courteous, and efficient. He was available whenever we needed him and exceeded our expectations. We are a "no-shoes" home and he even went out of his way to purchase shoe covers and make sure that everyone that came through the house either removed their shoes or put on the covers. If you are looking for an agent that is honest, kind, easy to work with and highly skilled at his job, David is it. It was truly a pleasure working with him. read more

David is the best! I've worked with him twice now and literally, he's the best realtor I've had... and I've been through a few. I'm quite particular, very detail oriented, and I ask a lot of questions...like a LOT, which can be taxing on people's nerves. But David was always patient with me and diligent in getting me the answers I needed. Whether that meant walking me through mounds of paperwork or letting me pick his brain about neighborhoods and negotiating strategies, he was generous with his time to make sure I felt comfortable moving forward and valued as a client. Other realtors I've worked with gave me the sense that they just wanted to close the deal, whereas David was truly rooting for me. He rode with me through the highs and lows of the home buying/selling process. He encouraged me through the disappointments and was just as excited as I was when the time came to celebrate. With David's help, I bought my new condo under market value and sold my old one above asking price all within a month! I'll definitely be using his services for the third time when I buy my next home. read more

I was so impressed with David's knowledge and expertise of areas, buildings, and negotiating. I've recommended him to at least 5 of my friends and they've all had the same experience working with David and are thrilled with their homes! I really appreciated his availability and insight, I never felt rushed and he really wanted to find what was the best fit for me and my finances. He was always very supportive and honest, and even helped me sort my home insurance after my possession date. I am always so happy to recommend him, he really is the best in so many ways! Finding a home can be time consuming and stressful - I had so much fun with David, it was a great experience. read more

Hiring David as our realtor was truly the best decision we could have made when we started looking for a home in LA. The minute he greets you, you will feel like you are old friends. That's a precious commodity! He has all the traits that are hard to find in a real estate agent: he's patient, thorough, informative and willing to go the extra mile for his clients. Not to mention he's funny and a chic dresser! He made the process of searching for the right place (which can be quite stressful) as easy as possible. He planned go-sees around our schedule and was extremely efficient when we were short on time. He was very kind - at one point even installing our car seat (we have a baby) in his vehicle so we could all drive around together. He gave us pep talks when we felt we'd never find what we wanted. And when we entered open houses with our baby in hand, he would offer to watch the little guy so we could fully concentrate. It's all those little things that make him a guy who genuinely loves his work. We spent many hours traversing LA in search of our dream home. In the end, he coached us beautifully through a bidding war to get the home we absolutely love at a price we could afford. We are so happy. Not joking - we don't even want to leave the house anymore, it's THAT awesome. As Canadians trying to navigate a foreign system, David guided us through the complexities of the sale, answered all our questions and made the entire experience a really positive one. We would HIGHLY recommend him as an agent (and a babysitter!) and would use him again in a second! read more

I can't say enough good things about David Ivkovic's work as a real estate agent. David went well above and beyond what was expected to help us both find and purchase our home in LA when we were new to the city. His experience, knowledge of different communities and market trends was invaluable to us as he navigated our way through different options in all parts of the greater LA area. He is very experienced, great to hang out with, pick his brain and bounce ideas off of and also has unparalleled drive and patience! Three different offers later, thanks to David, we finally found the right fit, which we couldn't be more happy with. He made what was a very stressful time for us not only fun, but informed, highly organized and effective. Also, our property value has increased greatly since we made the purchase, which is another testament to David's keen eye for the market. Our relationship with David continues to this day and we wholeheartedly recommend him as your next agent! read more
