Linda.....Listen(youtube video pun), this review is a double edged sword for me. Why, you ask? Well, because the better reviews they get, the more popular they become. The more popular this office becomes, the more difficult it will be to get squozen in on short notice! Yes, I know that squozen is not a real word in your world. It is in mine. It will be ok, trust me! Anyhow, they are HANDS DOWN the best. I'll start with the building. It is super nice, clean and well-manicured. There is even a zen style KOI pond with a little water fall feature right next to the entrance as you walk in. I have never asked Dr. Durbin about it, but I guarantee it is to help you relax on the way in. Once you walk into the lobby you are greeted buy a very well decorated and nice smelling waiting room. In that room there is a Keurig machine to get a caffein fix if you need it. There is a wide array of magazines to peruse if you so desire. There is a fire place and a very non-office like comfortable couch to place your 2pack while waiting to be called back. There is a very nice restroom with soft touch materials to use on your various parts. They even have disposable teeth brushes with teeth paste for your enjoyment. It is so you can be a decent human being and get your breakfast and lunch out of your face grill prior to getting your cleaning. Just to the left of the main entrance sits a super nice, extra awesome Team Durbin human Logistics specialist and multi-tasking ninja Kim. Kim can literally check you in while she is on the phone with three different insurance companies battling to get the best price while reading one email and writing two others and greeting you all at the same time without skipping a beat. She is very polite, respectful, and downright awesome. She treats everyone she meets with kindness and empathy. I am certain she was the favorite kid in her house when she was a child! Then there is Tamera the hygienist. Tamera is a 5 foot nothing fire plug. If you walk in nervous you will leave with a sore belly from laughing so much. She treats you like she has known you for a lifetime (or like family). She is quick witted, very thorough and hardworking multi-talented person. Last, but not the least that leaves Dr. D. Dr. Dawn Durbin is the captain of this modern-day marvel of dentistry. She is the absolute best! A true gangster in her own way! She is very intelligent, extremely caring, and easy on the eyes! She cares more about you than she does your dollars. She proves that with not just her words. It is backed by her actions. She cares about the whole person, not just your teeth and gums. Literally she puts the care in healthcare. She does not treat you like a person, or a number, she treats you like a member of her family. She is a true Sigma chick! This entire dental team is amazing! So if you are searching for a new, better.....correction, the best dentist office in the tri-state area.... LOOK NO FURTHER! Ok now that you understand how I feel about dentist I can tell you about Dr Emerson and his staff. I had 5 teeth that needed repaired. 4 front teeth and 1 molar. I entered a relatively new waiting area and was greeted warmly by a lady at the front desk. The office is clean and well decorated. There is a tv playing. I was near tears when the dental assistant came to get me. I went into a small but private exam room. Dr Emerson (the older man) he was very calm and friendly. He spoke softly and didn't make me feel ashamed about the state of my teeth. He gave me a shot which I honestly didn't feel much more than a pinch. He put white feelings into my front teeth. I was so comfortable that I fell asleep and no I wasn't given any laughing gas that put me to sleep. I looked into the mirror and what was once 4 broken black teeth were now beautiful teeth. I cried! I went into ashamed of my mouth and rarely smiled and when i left I couldn't stop smiling! They didn't accept my insurance but they gave me all kinds of discounts. I highly recommend this office
