Well, things finally started getting dodgy and I got an abcessed tooth. I remembered seeing Dr. Hamilton's ad in the Banner Gazette, so I gave her office a call. They promptly gave me an appointment and Dr. Hamilton diagnosed and started treating my absess and determined what other pressing issues were on the horizon. She helped me prioritize everything and PAINLESSLY got me back on the path to great dental health. The nicest thing about Dr. H is that she doesn't push unnecessary procedures on you. I have a friend whose dentist has convinced her that all of her old fillings needed replacement. The other thing that I love about Dr. Hamilton and her staff is that they are very gentle with you and do whatever is needed to make sure you're not in any discomfort. They also really care. Dr. Hamilton has called me after a lengthy procedure to make sure I was okay. Overall, I agree with her advertisement - that you're not just a patient, but a friend!

After I arrived I was taken back to my room and assessed by the dental assistant. She was very thorough and explained everything she was doing. The doctor came in and proceeded to evaluate my tooth. He was able to replace the cap and I had no pain or problems since. I appreciate their quick attention to my needs and were able to fix the problem. A office staff came in with a breakdown of the procedures and costs. She gave me the total and my payment options. The expense was a little more than I expected but it was an emergency so I guess it will all be worth it in the long run. I am sorry I didn't catch the name of the Dr that I saw but he was very young and very knowledgeable. I would recommend this practice to anyone.

The dentist was so rough with me it caused extra pain, was frustrated with me because i wasnt numbing easily . Sent me home & said he cant help. I got the tooth removed same day from my regular dentist which lets me know he wasn't numbing me correctly and should go back to school . On my first visit, a full panel of x-rays was taken. And I mean a FULL panel which could probably be used to recreate my mouth in case I ever have a terrible accident and they need to reconstruct my entire lower mandibular chew structure. I'm sure that it served other purposes as well such as giving a look at all my teeth alignment and any cavities that might be forming. The staff were all helpful, professional and courteous. The cleaning was thorough and moved quickly without pain. I've had to go back to have part of a tooth replaced (childhood accident) and it looks better now than any of my other 3 replacements. I can't even tell that it was chipped! There are televisions in each room in case you need something to distract you from the whirling sounds of the tools as well. Each cleaning and exam always ended with a warning to have a tooth extracted because of some imminent failure of a crown, old filling or a cracked tooth - none of these teeth were causing pain or other problems, but I was warned that I'd soon be calling "in middle of the night" in agony. WRONG. I still have these teeth nearly five years later! I have a new dentist. Two of my teeth have had the old fillings replaced and two teeth are on the "watch and wait' list for possible crowns.
