He was the one I felt most comfortable with. His nurses Angie and patient coordinator Melissa Have been there for me from the very beginning with any questions that I had. I scheduled my surgery two months out. And the morning of Dr. Obaid came in there and drew on me and all the nurses and anesthesiologist were very nice kind and considerate. Dr. Obaid may not be the cheapest, and who knows if he's the most expensive but you pay for what you get. He truly is a master at what he does- he is an artist. I am one that has had five different breast argumentation's in the past by different board-certified plastic surgeons. And he just made me look like a brand new person. My body looks amazing and I can't be any happier and I'm healing very well. If you're wondering what all I had done I had a mommy makeover as well as bodytite to the moms area with liposuction. And liposuction 360, also I had liposuction and bodytite to my chin area and liposuction and bodytite to my arms. Basically I had the works done and he did a fantastic job!!!! Also wanted to give a huge shout out to Lisa in the OR my overnight nurse she was fantastic and that's not even the best word that I can use for her ,because there was no one else that could have put up with me every five minutes needing something without getting frustrated or annoyed. I thought I was sleeping for 2 to 3 hours every single time I went to sleep in the recovery room but really it was just for five minutes and then I would wake up needing something else. Lol I wish I could have taken Lisa home with me. And my morning nurse was phenomenal as well. his staff is truly amazing. but needless to say my experience has been phenomenal and if you're looking for a board certified plastic surgeon then look no further than Dr. Obaid

However, Dr. Obaid called me personally to rectify the situation. If only all Doctors cared this much about what a patient went through! Our case is a very small cyst that has to be removed from my son's head, and he could just as easily moved on to bigger cases. I am extremely impressed that he would take the time to call us and actually cares about what happens to my son. Original Review: If I could give this office less than one star I would. We had a consultation to remove a small cyst from my sons forehead on December 1st 2014 at his Southlake location. I was told that they would get back with me within a couple of weeks once benefits had been verified. I gave them over a month and when I still had not heard back I called and was told that someone would get back with me. Almost two weeks later still nothing. Called last Thursday and was told by the office manager that the person I needed to speak with was on the phone and that she would get back to me within the hour. 5 days later, I called again to be put on hold for almost 10 minutes only to be told that we have not met any of our deductible. I do medical billing and am well aware that we are over halfway to our deductible. I thought that after waiting this long at least the information would be correct. I was looking at my benefits page as I was speaking with her. Absolutely deplorable professionalism. Not even an apology. I guess that since we were not there for high end cosmetic surgery, we did not qualify for professional, courteous or even accurate service.

I was diagnosed with breast cancer in May of 2022 and had a bilateral mastectomy on August 23rd…read morewith expanders put in at the same time for the reconstruction. With that surgery, i had to go back into the operating room for a bleed in the right breast. I healed pretty well, and scheduled my reconstruction for Dec 2022. When you go thru all of this process your mind is scattered and your giving all the control of your healthcare to the professionals, when Dr Armijo was referred to me by my breast cancer doctor, i looked him up and saw all these reviews and felt comfortable. The Friday before my reconstruction i envisioned him on his rolling stool making marks and explaining what was going to happen.... I never saw him. What I got was the Nurse Practitioner who had a hand held machine looking for arteries in my lower abdomen, went and took pictures then i was done. After my surgery i lost blood flow to one breast and had to be sent back to surgery. Dr Armijo said he had to open and close that side incision 4 times because he would get the blood flow back then close it and loose the flow and have to start over again. So now i have had two surgeries that turned into 4. At the 3 week mark after surgery there was a hole on the lower side of my breast. I expressed concern and they put Hydrofera Blue on it and gave me instructions on how often to change the dressing etc. i started to get concerned at week 4 because the hole was getting larger and the breast hurt. When you lose feeling from the original surgery and that is the breast that had been open and closed 4 times i would have thought maybe they would be concerned because i was. You are only going to get in touch with the medical assistant at this point. I sent an email with a photo as instructed and waited two days to call because i had not heard back. The nurse practitioner answered and pulled up the email and said it was superficial and that it could take weeks to heal, just keep doing what you are doing with the Hydrofer Blue sponges. Two days later i developed a fever with no symptoms beside massive headache, chills and a fever. Called the office asked for Dr Armijo and was told he was in surgery so i got the medical assistant. Within 5 minutes she called me in two different antibiotics... he was in surgery, there was no time to even talk to him she just called it in. They did not ask me to come in, i was sent to a wound care doctor. At this point i was made to feel like i was overreacting. I went to the wound doctor and was diagnosed with a wound that had tunneled 4", and when they measured it, all the seroma fluid that was trapped in there poured out (that was the breast pain). They cultured it and i was diagnosed with Pseudomonia and Strep B. At my 6 week appointment i told Dr Armijo i was not happy. I thought that after the second surgery i could get tattoos and be done... i need a third surgery to even look somewhat "normal" and insurance will not pay for that. When i finished telling him about all my problems and not being able to get a hold of him he said "are you done"? Then said that he trusts his staff, and he just "cuts and sews" and i should have asked the questions before the surgery. I'm dealing with Cancer at 49, scared of surgery, and my future... i didnt know what to ask.

I did not have anyone to provide referrals for services I may need, and I was considering having a lower face and neck lift. Fortunately, I am an internet sleuth and did massive amounts of research, so you don't have to. Aside from the fact that he is the top plastic surgeon in Dallas, his client reviews are also glowing. What stood out to me was how every review cited how much time he spends with you, whether it's a consultation or follow-up visit, etc. Even with this knowledge, I was still amazed by how very true those statements were. The night before my surgery, I had last-minute changes to my post-op care. He and his staff jumped through hoops to resolve MY issue. You will NEVER experience this with another doctor, nor their staff. He has a bedside manner that most do not, and he understands the importance of his name on his work. Anyone I encounter is shocked at how amazing I look since my surgery. Other places I go, for basic beauty/maintenance services (hair, nails, pilates), are beside themselves as they have seen their fair share of clients who have had plastic surgery, and they tell me that my results are the best they've ever seen.
