Avoid Dr. Harvey DPM - Unprofessional and Harmful Care Beware of Dr. Harvey DPM - More Interested…read morein Amputation Than Healing Dr. Harvey has the worst bedside manner I have ever witnessed. Every time he walked into the exam room, he wouldn't even greet my father--he would immediately say, "It's time to choppy choppy your toes." A doctor's job is to heal, not to jump straight to cutting off body parts. Because of this, our community now refers to him as Dr. Choppy Choppy. If I could give zero stars, I would. Dr. Harvey, or as we called him, Dr. Choppy Choppy, has the worst bedside manner I have ever encountered. Every visit, he would walk into the room and, before even saying hello, joke about amputating my father's toe. This kind of insensitive behavior is unacceptable from a medical professional. Not only was his attitude dismissive, but his treatment actually made my father's condition worse. Instead of helping his foot heal, he caused more harm by poking, peeling, and aggravating the wounds, leading to infections. When we raised concerns, he brushed them off and blamed my father rather than taking responsibility for his poor care. We ultimately had to find another doctor because Dr. Harvey's lack of professionalism and care was doing more harm than good. If you value compassionate and competent medical care, I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
