Found Dr Bowes here on yelp. Based on his online profile and others feedback, I made an emergency appointment. So glad I did! Was in excruciating pain and they got me in same day, took several X-rays to find a tiny chip in the toe. (This is the same foot that immediate care in McHenry took images of the day before, sending me home with a prescription for an infection that I did not have.) Dr Bowers is very pleasant, knowledgeable, explains everything, patient and won't rush you along, and has a great sense of humor! His staff is very accommodating and great to work with as well. In my case, I was there almost two hours. Follow up appointments are just as pleasant. I highly recommend this physician! read more

Dr. Bowers treated me 10 years ago when I lived in Chicago and he did a great job in fixing the problems with my feet. The pain is gone and I'm walking much better! He has a lot of experience and is very knowledgeable! I highly recommend Dr. Bowers. If I was still living in Chicago, I would see him at least once a year.
