On my first visit, the chiropractor did not do a direct evaluation of my current condition by assessing my range of motion, muscle spasms, pain on movement or anything else. I was surprised because a physical exam was the first thing done by chiropractors that treated me in the past. Instead, I was led into a back room for vital sign, foot and other scans executed by an assistant. Those were followed by traditional x-ray imaging performed by the chiropractor in another room. On my second visit a week later, I was shown the x-ray images and handed a printed summary displaying my scan results. The x-rays and report were used as sales closing aids demonstrating need for care. Two treatment plans, described as "investments," were offered. Without discounts for any prepayments and after Medicare, the "Acute" care plan cost $2,376 and the "Optimal" $3,672. Since the chiropractor had yet to place his hands on my back or ask any direct questions about current symptoms, I wondered how could he legitimately propose weeks to months long treatment plans? After I said I was not looking to enroll in a continuity program with multiple visits per week stretched out over 5 weeks to months, I was told by the chiropractor that "it's not like waiting in a doctor's office" and treatments might be "a few minutes." His statements tracked with my waiting room experience because I saw several clients go in and out in a remarkably short period of time and I wondered what was done. In my past experiences with chiropractors my symptoms were assessed by physical examination. I was also provided immediate treatment for back or shoulder injuries on the first office visit and sent home with a TENS electrical stimulation device to alleviate muscle spasms on multiple occasions. The TENS therapy reduced spasm pains without drugs and was very effective. That's what I was hoping to get at FCC. Instead, I paid $385 for imaging I never asked for creditable to a future care plan I won't buy. During two visits the chiropractor did not lay a hand on me or provide any treatment. It seems to get a routine physical examination or any care at FCC one must first sign up for a long-term care plan. A great business model for the chiropractor but a Catch-22 for a new client seeking day of first visit relief. The advice of this non-medical doctor is stay far, far away from this provider.

I've had one knee replacement & was bone on bone in the other knee & my leg was so badly deformed from a collapsed knee, I was in constant pain. I couldn't put weight on that leg & could hardly walk. My knee would buckle on me constantly. I felt like I was facing a future in a wheelchair. The program consisted of 3 platelet rich plasma knee injections, using your own blood & an umbilical cord stem cell injection to help regrow your knee cartiledge. They used a heel wedge in my shoe to shift the bones & straighten my leg.
